Today, Samsung has started rolling-out the official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 4 users who are impatiently waiting for the update since last month. The update has reached India, Brazil, Baltic region and the Middle-east (UAE) too.
Still, the update is not available to all users in this regions yet. The OTA update weighs about 1GB, and will require about 3GB free space in your Note 4 storage to install.
The update brings Lollipop build 5.0.1 along with New TouchWiz UI with Lollipop Material Design, New notifications, new lockscreen, Bug fixes and Performance enhancements.

Samsung has just officially announced a New variant of the Galaxy Note 4 in South Korea. This new model is called Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE with model number SM-916, it will hit the shelves in its homeland in mid-January.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE packs a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. The rest of the device's specs is the same as the Original Note 4. The new model (LTE Cat.9) will be capable of offering download speeds of up to 300Mbps via carrier aggregation. In theory, the speeds can reach up to 450Mbps.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE will be available on all major carriers in South Korea. There is no word on availability outside the country for the time being.

Samsung Germany wasn't sure if users in the country want the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge or are just fine with having the Galaxy Note 4 so the subsidiary decided to ask.
The users have spoken, saying they want the innovative Note Edge as well so Samsung has obliged, offering the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge in stores from January,2015. The company will be also adding a Premium Edition of the smartphone that will start selling sooner in itaonline store.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Premium Edition will cost €899 but will include a Flip Wallet, display cleaner, tips and tricks brochure, 64GB Samsung EVO microSD card and three years of warranty.
