Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is the latest entry in the gaming smartphone category for anyone who loves to play video games on their smartphone. It made its debut in Chine on 18th March, and now the device has reached Indian market. The phone is a gaming-oriented smartphone, and it packs a tons of features to enhance the experience of video game players. Let us have a look at some of the hardware and software specifications.

Xiaomi had released the Black Shark 2 in Indian market in two models. The first model has 8GB memory with 128GB storage and it will cost less than 40,000INR. The second variant has 12GB memory and has 256GB storage. It is slightly pricier and will cost you around 50,000 INR. It has 6.39-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. There is no notch or ugly cut-out on the screen destroying a full-view gaming experience. It also features 240Hz touch refresh rate for faster touch response in gaming. The device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, which has an octa-core CPU (4 big cores + 4 small cores), and Adreno 640 GPU.

Usually smartphones with powerful processor heats up when you use these for long time for playing video games or watch movies, due to which the performance get effect, and results in choppy frame rate in the gaming experience. To deal with this issue, Xiaomi has placed the Black Shark 2 with larger and thicker copper plats compared to ones in the most other high-end smartphones. It helps in dissipating the heat faster which keeps the device cool down and due to which you get a higher frame rate. This ensures a smoother gaming experience Xiaomi is calling this liquid cool 3.0. The device also comes with a performance tuning of the device, such as, adjusting CPU and GPU performance. This is also Ludicros mode bult-in that is going to free the unused resources to allocate to the game for smoother experience, such as Gamepad, Gamepad stand, and cooling fan.

redmi

There is a good percentage of mobile users prefer to play video games when they have to kill their time. And knowing while mobile is better at games can be its selling point. Redmi Note 8 Pro series is known as one of the best performing mid-range devices of the last year. The Redmi Note 8 Pro features a very powerful processor MediaTek Helio G90T which is specifically made for gamers. The latest price for the pro model is around $184 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variants. What special about this phone is that it beats one of the very expensive Galaxy S20 Plus in gaming tests that came out as a surprise for many users.

The test was performed by YouTube Chong Li who posted a video on the gaming comparison of Redmi Note 8 Pro Vs. Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus. He played a top-tier game PUBG mobile which is a graphically intense game for mobile devices. He ran the test for 30-minutes and results were completely unexpected. The Redmi Note 8 Pro uses the MediaTek chip whereas the Redmi Exynos 990 struggle to maintain a stable 60fps for more than 10 minutes and dropped to 50fps. The drop is caused by overheating and throttling caused by game processing for a long time.

Here it is important to note that Galaxy S20 plus is available in Exynos 990 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 variants. Although the Snapdragon is only available for the USA and South Korea. The Exynos version is aimed at Asian countries. Although Exynos isn't too bad as well but can't compete with MediaTek processors. The latest Exynos 992 is 1-3% more power-efficient than Snapdragon 865 and its predecessor and we expect better work in the future as well. We may see Exynos 1000 chipset that will be made in collaboration with AMD.

redmi k40 gaming

Two months after Redmi K40's release, the company has come up with its gaming variant - the Redmi k40 Gaming Edition. This is the first phone by the company specifically designed for playing video games. Usually, gaming phones are ugly and heavy. But this phone is really thin and lightweight compared to other gaming phones available in the market. The overall body is made of metal whereas the back panel is made of glass instead of plastic.

Redmi K40 Gaming edition features a 64MP primary camera sensor with 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The phone uses optical glass in the phone lens that improves picture quality even better. The K40 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1,200 with a new type of thermal material to prevent the possible overheating of the phone due to continuous video gaming. While you play any video game on K40, it can run the game at a nearly full frame rate of 90fps with smooth graphics.

The phone comes with a charger and charging cable, and for unknown reasons, these are now in yellow and black color instead of the usual white. It is also a slightly smaller charger. The charging cable uses the L-shaped charging head for the first time, The 67w charger takes somewhere from 43 to 45 minutes to fully charge the smartphone but it also gets your phone charge up to 51% in just 15 minutes. Although the phone isn't bulky, it still features a 5,065mAh battery. Another attractive feature of this phone is the physical triggers that make it possible for gamers to have the ultimate gaming experience. As the triggers are physical, you might get addicted to its usage which many gamers won't mind.

asus

Are you one of the mobile phone users who love to play video games when feeling bored? Although many people play video games on their smartphones, not many companies consider it a mainstream rend. Asus is one of a few companies that design high-end smartphones specifically for gaming. A lot of premium phones are advertised as gaming phones because of their high-powered processor, display design, and they do run games relatively well. However, the Asus ROG phone series is the best when it comes to gaming phone.

The ROG phone and ROG phone 2 were great but the company didn't focus too much on the design before, but what we have now is a relatively much better-designed version of the gamer aesthetic and slick looking phone. The front face is plain black, with two stereo speakers above and below the display, but there is also a 3.5mm audio jack. The front camera is in one corner of the screen which means you get a seamless user experience while playing video games or watching videos on the phone.

The rear side of the phone has a large centered ROG logo that lights up with different colors when Xcode is activated. A small transparent panel shows off the phone's elaborate cooling system and tiny vent to make it cool while playing games. Although, there is only one drawback of having such a glossy background. The phone slides around on most surfaces and leaves fingerprint marks on the cover. The company has used corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and Gorilla Glass 3 on the rear side.

The phone is slightly heavy and not for everyone. The main reason for its weight is due to the 6,000mAh battery and cooling system. This isn't a phone for you if you prefer slim sleek designs. Asus has gone with a 6.59-inch 1080x2340 screen, and its biggest advantage is an unprecedented 144Hz refresh rate. You can buy the ROG Phone 3 starting in early August with either 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for Rs. 49,999, or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for Rs. 57,999. In other countries, Asus will offer a staggering 16GB / 512GB option as well.

ROG phone 3 features a 64-megapixel primary camera with a Sony sensor and f/1.8 aperture. The second camera is a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle one, while the third one is a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front camera features a 24-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera. The ROG Phone 3 isn't going to be an option for everyone, but if gaming is a huge passion, and if you don't mind a huge phone, you'll definitely like this one. Our full review is coming up soon, so do stay tuned.

We live in the golden age of mobile communications and web browsing, and thanks to advances in technology our computers have become faster and smaller. As a result of this many new industries have grown around the platform to create an ecosystem of functions, services and enjoyment for users. Some new sectors that have grown as a result of the ubiquity of mobile devices are the mobile gaming and gambling industries as barriers to access and cost came down. In this post, we take a look at 3 reasons why mobile devices have grown to become the perfect platform for gaming and gambling activities.

1. Gaming on the Go

By far the biggest contributing factor as to why mobile devices have become the best place for gaming and gambling is the portability of the devices we now use. Smartphones pack lots of sophisticated hardware and software in a pocket-sized device that allows us to access content on the internet such as video games, mobile slots, and virtual casino's. Mobile games nowadays have evolved into very well-designed titles with realistic graphics that provide anything from a quick game to pass the time such as Flabby Bird, to fully immersive experiences that provide hours of entertainment such as PokemonGo.

Whether you're on your daily commute, have a few minutes to kill in a waiting room, or relaxing at home, - mobile users have access to billions of pages of content, services and much more at the tap of a screen. This portable convenience is why gaming has taken off so spectacularly, everyone with a mobile device is a potential gamer, and millions are taking up the challenge.

2. Online Casinos and Gaming Platforms

An extension of the points made above is the fact that casino and video games are now available on the internet and in app stores. Technological advances mean that anyone can enjoy the experience of a casino without having to painstakingly plan a trip to Las Vegas or Macau. In the same way, besides the cost of your mobile there is often no need for further investment to play mobile games as many are available for free. This is in contrast to investing in a video games console or an expensive gaming PC,- as well as the games, for example.

Needless to say, many gaming and gambling experiences are now specifically optimised for mobile to ensure each user's best experience on their particular device. Either way, the availability of virtual experiences on the internet and the speed and convenience of mobile mean have helped to grow the industry's popularity.

3. Social Gaming

Another internet-based phenomenon that has resulted from the digital boom and mobile platforms is social media. Our smartphones have allowed us to connect with our friends and family beyond just having their phone number. Social media also allows people to discover or build communities based around interests they follow and so it is with mobile gaming and gambling. There is no advertising that is as powerful as word of mouth, and that is what social gaming does best for virtual casinos and games; word spreads and fast popular games end up growing very quickly.

The three reasons outlined above are some of the most important factors as to why mobile devices are currently the best platform for playing video games and enjoying gambling experiences. Together they have created the best conditions for gaming and gambling to become as popular as they are today.

vivo

Vivo iQOO Z1 5G is the latest gaming phone to feature the MediaTek flagship chipset for the first time. The company has already launched two gaming phones this year - iQOO 3 and iQOO Neo 3. Although snapdragon chops dominate the android phone in recent years, the MTK density series is in a better position for the high-performing needs. Let's talk about the display first. The phone has 1080MP LCD at a 144Hz refresh rate. The Z1 has scored over 520,000 points in the Antutu benchmark, but this isn't as good as 597,000 points of the Neo 3 running the Snapdragon 865. We see the GPU performance of the MTK chipset is much close to the Snapdragon chipset.

The gaming experience is not very different from what you can have on the Snapdragon since there are not many games that require extremely high CPU or GPU performance from Android phones. Most games support up to 60 fps frame rate. There are a few games that can lock the frame rate under 30fps like Asphalt 9. The game got a z1 shutter sometimes, but it still reaches at 29fps on an average. With games that don't lock the frame rate, Z1 could offer a super smooth gaming experience with its 144Hz display. If you continue to play games for a long time, the frame rate may drop down to 90fps to prevent any heating issues.

The phone comes with a 44W charger that takes only 23 min to charge up to 50% of the power and an hour to fully charge the phone. The one-hour PUBG mobile game consumed around 16% of the power. That means you can continue to play for another 5 hours of the game. The phone isn't perfect and has a performance gap between Snapdragon 865 and the Dimensity 1000 plus. However, with most android games, the gap is really hard to perceive due to frame rate limits. Z1 cost around $300 and is one of the cheapest gaming phones this year.

DirectX 12

One of the biggest changes in technology that's coming this year is DirectX 12 and the new set of standards, which will be used on both Windows 10 and the Xbox One. Elijah Freeman, an executive producer at Crytek, is quoted by GamingBolt as saying that his team might benefit from the fact that better optimization will be possible, which in turn will make it easier to run consistently at high-frame rates.

He states, "Everything which helps to make drawcalls more efficient is highly useful, so DX12 with its reduced API overhead and better parallelization capabilities can definitely play a part in helping us create more complex VR worlds than before."

DirectX 12 is supposed to introduce a wide variety of improvements, and Microsoft has not yet offered a clear launch date for it. Another piece of tech that has received a lot of attention recently is the cloud and the way it can be used to boost the quality of graphics for a title or to enhance its gameplay.

Freeman believes that it will have a smaller impact on virtual reality gaming because minimum latency is required. If DirectX 12 offers a solid boost to VR, it will be a little ironic, given that Microsoft is not working on a solution in this field.

While the Odyssey Z isn't the first laptop from since Samsung decided to re-enter the industry, it is the company's first gaming laptop nonetheless.

The Odessey Z looks quite sleek and packs in decent hardware as well, albeit nothing exceptional. What Samsung is highlighting is the company's custom cooling system that comprises of the Dynamic Spread Vapor Chamber, Z AeroFlow Cooling Design, and a Z Blade Blower. The manufacturer guarantees that this cooling system will keep the laptop icy even when the internals are pushed to their maximum. Speaking of internals, it is powered by an 8th-Gen Intel Core-i7 processor, GTX 1060 (6GB) GPU and up to 16GB of RAM. For more details about the laptop, check out the screenshot of the specs below. Saikat Kar (tech-enthusiast)

If you have not heard already, a new age or epoch has begun, named as Anthropocene or the "Age of Humans." In this age, technology has reached heights considered impossible just a few years earlier and for those of us who love online gaming, there was never a better time than this. To be able to play casino games online and win real money on secure online casinos like M88 Asia is actually possible today, thanks to technology. We will now take a look at the most impactful tech trends that have changed and will continue to change online gaming for the better.

The Most Important Aspect: Security

What had kept a lot of online gamblers away from the e-casinos earlier was the insecurity of online transactions. However, the online transactions have now become way safer due to the combined efforts of the multi-billion-dollar gaming industry, banks and other financial operators worldwide.

The next step towards an even better form of security while gaming online is the use of tokens or "tokenization" which will leave zero vulnerability in the process of a financial transaction on the internet for a hacker to exploit. In other words, you won't need to enter the details of your credit or debit card to play online casino games very soon, but just a unique one-time PIN number.

Convenience

It is no longer necessary to sit in front of a desktop while playing online games, because technology has now made them accessible from laptops, tablets and even right from your smartphones. You can just lie on your bed or relax on your sofa while winning real money from the app you just installed on your phone or tablet. They are available across multiple platforms like the iOS, Android and of course, Windows. Things will become even more convenient as HTML5 becomes publicly accessible and more utilized in the near future.

The Jackpot or the Winnings

There would be little incentive to play online gambling games if the prizes were not big enough. As it turns out, the jackpots are getting bigger every day as more and more people begin to join in. The potential amount that the player can win will only increase with time.

iOS 9

It's been a little over a month since Apple's new iOS 9 was rolled out. Just a few days later, Apple announced that its new operating system had been installed on more than 50% of active iPhones and iPads, which made it the fastest adoption rate in the company's successful history.

It's undoubtedly an exciting time, not only for Apple fans but gamers at large. Why? iOS 9 introduces a series of game-changing (pardon the pun) features and engines which, if proven as successful as tech experts predict, will have an industry-wide impact. After all, mobile gaming is a $25 billion per year industry on both iOS and Android. It's actually expected to surpass console games in terms of revenue by the end of the 2015.

Let's take a detailed look at the iOS 9 features which will make a difference in the way we play on smartphones, and explore what each one means for end users.

3D Touch: Being Under Pressure is Great

3D Touch is the innovation cornerstone of Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, as it brings brand new ways to interact with the screen. Since their popularization in the late 2000s and up to now, touchscreens have been registering a set series of gestures: tapping, swiping or pinching. 3D Touch brings new gestures into play, which Apple has named "peek" and "pop." iPhone screens now respond to actual levels of pressure instead of mere touch or finger movement. As demonstrated in the Special Event Apple this September, this technology - dubbed "the next generation of multi-touch enables you to preview an email, by pressing lightly, or make it pop up by pressing harder. Similarly, users can access different interface features and shortcuts by applying different levels of pressure.

There are, of course, many more applications to this haptic technology and gaming is perhaps the most interesting area at least according to Wired magazine, which has welcomed it as "Apple's biggest gaming innovation." These new gesture options will effectively enable game developers to make complex games more intuitive and improve on the shortcomings of mobile gaming controls in comparison to other platforms.

Among the first games to take advantage of 3D Touch was an App Store Editor's Pick, futuristic racing simulator AG Drive. While accelerating and breaking your vehicle used to require tapping and holding different points on the screen, developer company ZORG has now mapped acceleration to 3D Touch, adding new depth to the already acclaimed game.

Another interesting case is multi-award winning platform puzzle BADLAND. Frogmind games recently updated the addictive side-scroller with 3D Touch-based controls which help players navigate stages, as well as new optional "force objects" available in the level editor. Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, is the first game developed specifically for the iPhone 6s. It is based on the popular tabletop strategy game franchise of the same name. In Warhammer, pressure is mapped to zoom controls to allow players to zoom in on the action.

According to the Entertainment Software Association's annual report, casual, puzzle and card games are the most frequently played genres, reaching an impressive 77% of all games played on mobile devices. After the introduction of 3D Touch, developers within these genres have been implementing the technology in the most creative of ways to make their app stand out. While games like Zombie Tsunami have opted to feature 3D Touch merely in mini-games and menus, the potential is great - and smart, innovative use will prove catalytic in making a game more popular.

ReplayKit: Play it again, Sam.

Although iOS 9's new ReplayKit is a tool for developers, its implementation has certainly been swift and clear to gamers. ReplayKit easily enables videogame creators to implement game recording and sharing features, so that you can share your accomplishments with friends and social networks.

It seems that Apple has wisely picked up on the latest trends in eSports and the growing popularity of game streaming services, such as Twitch.tv. More people than ever -71 million in 2014, as reported by SuperData Research - watch competitive gaming events while e-gaming revenue predicted to hit $465 million in 2017 according to research firm NewZoo. Replaying your own games and watching others' sessions for enjoyment as well as tips and tricks seems to be all the rage right now, and iOS 9 brings that functionality right to your fingertips.
Many iOS games were already touching upon this trend by providing gamers with detailed history and stats on their previous games, such as PokerStars Mobile. The popular poker app, which recently added a range of games for the casino market, dedicates a whole section of their app to a history feature, giving gamers the chance to follow their progress closely. However, the introduction of ReplayKit technology makes this process more visually appealing, by introducing video and also adds the capacity to conveniently edit and add voice-over commentary.

This feature was welcomed by gaming companies and implemented almost overnight, as a number of games have already been updated to include it. One of the first was Gang Nations, the popular combat strategy game for iPhone and Android. It now enables players to record their battles with rival gangs and share them on social networks. Many more games, such as Breakneck and Playdemic's Sims-like hit Village Life followed suit and more are still to come.

GameplayKit and Model I/O: Under the Hood

One of the three game developer-exclusive kits Apple introduced in iOS 9 is the aptly named GameplayKit. It encompasses a series of tools that handle gameplay logic - randomness, simulation, pathfinding... Similarly, Model I/O is designed to light 3D models in both game and app design. Finally, the pre-existing game-specific SpriteKit, SceneKit and Metal have been updated to developers' delight, allowing for better use of the iPhone's central and graphics processors.

If all this sounds a bit too technical, but don't worry. All you need to know is that in effect, these tools will help developers create more immersive games with more complex rules and ultimately, better gameplay and more realistic graphics than ever. Apple promises that it will bring "console-grade" games to its devices.

For a taste of Apple's SceneKit, used for powering 3D games, you can check out the free fast-paced game Marballistic, where you control a marble ball frantically jumping from platform to platform.

Game Center: Let your Friends Play

Game Center, Apple's social gaming network, has also received a handy add-on. With the advent of iOS 9, Game Center supports guest players. Device owners no longer have to worry about friends borrowing their phone to try out games and messing up their stats, high-scores and achievements. Said friends can now play as guest players - in fact, up to three players can play real-time games and up to a massive fifteen players can play turn-based games on iOS 9.

Battery life and App Thinning: Every Little Bit Helps

iOS 9 promises to deliver up to 4 hours longer battery life than before thanks to under-the-hood performance tweaks and a new feature called Low Power Mode. By automatically disabling unneeded services, Low Power Mode enables you to conserve juice so there's more there when you feel like gaming. This feature seems similar to Sony's Battery STAMINA mode and brings a much needed update to iPhone's battery life, which is promised to also last longer because of hardware optimization.

On top of that, Apple introduced a new technology named App Thinning. It allows for apps to be optimized for specific devices, so that downloaded packages don't include irrelevant files and are, as a result, less chunky. This way, devices are left with more available space, while games are faster to install and launch.

iOS 9's reviews have been stellar, especially in terms of gaming capabilities. Now it's up to the developers to utilize all that it has to offer. As gamers, all we have to do is explore their efforts and decide for ourselves.

If you haven't heard about Pokemon GO yet now may be the time to wander back underneath your rock as not only is Niantic's Pocket Monster themed app dominating the Android and IOS App markets, it is also helping itself to the lion's share of the global market for in-app purchases claiming a whopping 47% of the market in a single day on July 10th.

In layman's terms, Pokemon GO made more in a single day than all the other mobile apps combined. This is impressive enough in itself but the news doesn't stop there as the app is also reported to be introducing first-time mobile gaming spenders to the market. Unbelievably, less than 53% of users who spent money on Pokemon GO had made one or no mobile game purchases in the last six months.

As it stands, the most popular in-game purchase has been the 100 Poke Coin bundle (the in-game currency for purchasing items). Approximately 37% of all purchases were the 100 Coin bundle but the app has actually profited most from the five dollar (£7.99 in the UK) 1,200 Coin bundle.

In total, it is estimated Pokemon GO has already made $14 million, far outperforming developers Niantic's previous effort: Ingress. Ingress played a big part in the design of Pokemon GO as it relies on the same mapping software and the previously mapped out ‘energy points' are also now the in-game PokeStops where players refill their inventories.

Nintendo's company shares have also risen an incredible 86% in Tokyo as a byproduct of Pokemon GO's success. In financial terms, this translates to an unprecedented $17 billion increase of market capitalisation.

The company have desperately needed a win since falling behind console rivals Sony and Microsoft and the venture into the mobile gaming market has paid off more than could've been predicted. People in the United Kingdom were recklessly abusing their devices to confuse them into thinking they resided in America or Oceania to access the app early - there hasn't be such madness since Microsoft first introduced Xbox Live to the gaming market.

It was a definite risk to allow a third party to develop the app on Nintendo's behalf, the Nintendo logo features only for trademarking purposes, but it has certainly paid off for the Japanese gaming giants. The incredible rise in market stock will stand Nintendo in excellent stead as the world awaits details on its next console: the Nintendo NX and could see them retake their crown as the king of games.

Granted, Pokemon GO isn't for everyone so if you're looking for alternative games such as free casino games, offline gaming or apps without in-game purchases we can point you in the right direction.

There was a time when the mobile devices in our hands were communication devices only. With the changing world of the Internet though, and the increasing speeds that these devices are capable of the world of mobile gaming has taken off, and we tend to spend more time playing games than anything.

Processing Power

A lot of this has to do with the power of the phone themselves. Whether it be the Android devices, or Apple's iPhones, the strive for faster processors and graphics chips have pushed what the phones can do to whole new levels.

What this means for games is that they can do more, and look better than ever. Whether it be on a phone, or tablet, the level of graphics complexity makes these games more welcoming. Looking better than many of the retro consoles, games are now more complex and more addictive than ever. Some even argue that these devices are the future of gaming.

Social Media

The rise in popularity of social media has seen a rise in the casual games. These are often "free-to-play", and get you addicted before asking for money to "improve" the experience. The ability to not pay anything to play though make it easier for the mobile device user to play these games and to have fun.

Whether you go for online bingo games, Candy Crush Saga or slimmed down strategy games such as Sim City there is a wealth of choice now. All of these games also allow the user to connect to friends, to challenge each other, which adds to the longevity of the gaming experience.

Accessibility

One of the real strengths of mobile gaming though is just how versatile it has become. Games are instantly accessible and can be played anywhere, even social games. Whether you want to play a quick game of online bingo, or a quick game of Candy Crush Saga, the ability is there 24/7.

Your phone is quickly becoming the hub of your technical life. With so much choice, gamers have never been so free to play what they want, when they want. This is why the future of mobile gaming looks very bright, and will continue to grow for a long time to come.

With smartphones becoming more powerful every year, the games which we can play become even more impressive. For those who want 3D adventures, the phones can now handle these, as well as casual games like Candy Crush Saga.

The rise of mobile gaming on not only smartphones but also tablets has taken many by surprise, even appearing to be a threat to the mighty consoles when it comes to popularity. What caused this success, and why are so many companies investing money into this form of gaming? The simple answer is that people are finding it an easy new way to keep on gaming on the move. Looking deeper into it though, there are some signs that highlight the reasons mobile gaming is becoming such a success.

The Mobile Platform and Digital Downloads

Mobile gaming has found its strength in casual gaming and the "free-to-play" model for gaming releases. It is so easy for players to just download a game for free, get a taste of it and then decide if they want to invest money through microtransactions.

While microtransactions may not have been that popular at first, it has slowly become an easy way to make progress in games while on the move. Whether it is adding extra lives to the game, adding cosmetics, or even adding money into an online slots game, transferring money into gaming accounts has never been easier.

The fact that this money is being spent in the billions also means that big gaming companies are starting to take notice. Companies like Activision buying mobile companies like King, the makers of Candy Crush Saga show that things are being noticed. That fact that the sale was made for $5.9 billion also shows just how much money is being spent.

Mobile Gaming is Flexible

Mobile gaming can be done anywhere, and on the move. While this may mean more casual type games that are played in smaller chunks so not to take up the player's concentration, it still means there is plenty of chances for games to be played.

The ability to play games anywhere though is what makes mobile gaming so popular with gamers. It can relieve boredom while having to wait for the bus, or while travelling on the train, or even while waiting for a doctor's appointment. The versatility that this form of gaming provides will always win out.

Mobile Gaming Diversity

While console gaming can sometimes be a little restrictive based on the style of games available, mobile gaming offers more of a choice for a more diverse number of gamers. Whether you are male or female, old or young, there are games available that fit your gaming needs.

Smartphones and tablets offer us choice, and an easy way to start playing games. This makes them a very popular way to game on the move, whatever your taste. Whether you're playing on your favourite iPhone Casino, the latest strategy release, or the latest Candy Crush Saga clone, the choice is yours, and you have plenty to choose from.

If you are looking to experiment with the hundreds of thousands of great video games that are available on the Google Play Store, you'll need a device to access them. The great thing about android is that they have a different group of manufacturers, meaning they also a vast range of phones and other devices to choose from. This means that you don't need to purchase the top of the range devices as some other phones, further down the pricing scale, offer a truly exceptional gaming experience.

But which Android mobile phone or portable handheld Android game console is right for you?

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

With the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, the Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. It is more than capable of not just playing the most up to date games, but plays them like a breeze too. Released in 2016, it looks fab, especially with the curved edge, which doesn't add a great deal to be honest, but gives it a classy finish. The games run as smoothly as needed, without lagging, and is what they call, future-proof, guaranteeing two years of top-level performance. This means that this awesome Samsung will be able to cope with any of the top games due for release in the future.

NVIDIA SHIELD Portable and Tablet

The NVIDIA SHIELD Portable is the best purpose built handheld Android game console on the market right now. It looks and feels great on the outside, while on the inside, it is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor which helps power the stunning 5-inch HD LCD display. On this device, you will be able to stream PC games and play the Android games of your choosing. Running on Android KitKat, it is a fantastic machine and was only a matter of time before the market demanded it.

HTC 10

HTC's new flagship phone, the 10, is something of a return to form for the Taiwanese brand, who went unnecessarily quiet in 2015, following weirdly low sales for what was actually a very good phone, the M9. Anyway, here they are again and the 10 is worth the wait. It's a beautiful phone, and contains specs allowing it to compete with the Galaxy S7 range. Powered by Snapdragon 820 and Adreno 530 GPU, the phone kindly gives up 4 GB of RAM (as does the Galaxy). Visually, the games will look the part thanks to the LCD 5 technology and is a wise, but pricey, choice.

Nexus 6P

While we have listed the S7 Edge as the best on the market, this number represents the best value. The powerful hardware in the Nexus 6P, machinery like Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 GPU, shouldn't be available at this price but, hey, that's android for you. This brilliant little gem is capable of competing with the Samsung and HTC flagships for almost half the price. The Nexus 6P looks stunning and, with 3 GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, gives a performance fit enough for even the most discerning consumer.

Why Android is Best

We wholeheartedly commit to the idea that Android devices are superior to iOS devices not just because of their ability, but also because of the little extras you get with the Google system. Extras like freemium games and range of manufacturers which leads to greater, competitive market place. This is especially effective for games and gamers.

If you do like real money online casinos, then you will have to navigate over to the homepage of the site you wish to use before downloading the app directly from them, as opposed to downloading straight from the Play Market. This minor convenience aside, you can enjoy all your favourites like blackjack and slots. These, and others, are available at all casinos for Android users. Slots are the most popular of all online and live casino games, beating off competition from games like poker, roulette and others.

There are so many games, most of which are free to play, and range from all manner of different genres. These could be tower games, strategy games, life sims, action games, racing titles, just about anything you fancy. If real money gambling is more your thing, then any of the devices listed here will suit your needs. Even most of the Android machines not listed, should do the trick.

While Pokémon Go might have added a new risk factor to online gaming - physical injury - app store safety traditionally revolves around viruses, micro-transactions, and adware. Here are three quick tips for stress-free gaming this autumn.

1. Stay Away from Third Party Stores

Here's a strange fact about smartphones: mobile malware is a growth industry. In the twelve months between 2014 and 2015, the number of malicious programs attacking smartphones jumped nearly 200%. However, the number of viruses, worms, and other nasties hidden in the Play and App stores remained close to zero.

So, how does malware get onto mobile phones in the first place? Viruses and their ilk are a non-issue for the majority of smartphone users; the threat only arises when people try to download apps from third party stores, especially those physically located in the Middle East. In some places, your infection rate can be as high as 1 in 3.

A good example occurred shortly before the release of Pokémon Go, when a malware-infested app called Guide for Pokémon Go appeared on third-party app stores. It was downloaded half a million times before anybody noticed that it was up to no good.

Apple and Google's vetting systems aren't infallible - there's at least one story of an app with no functionality at all becoming a five-star app on the Play Store - but at least the odds aren't stacked against you in the official stores.

2. Permissions are Everything

You might not have realised but every app on your phone has your explicit permission to do certain things. For example, Facebook and Instagram can both access your camera; Pokémon Go can find out your precise location, and Gmail can view your phone's calendar. Apps need these permissions to function.

However, you should always try to ‘connect the dots' before giving a new app VIP access to your phone. For example, Facebook needs to ‘talk' to your camera every time you try to take a photograph from within the app and Pokémon Go uses your location to determine your proximity to monsters; that makes sense. Ask yourself if that calculator app you've just downloaded really needs access to your text messages.

You should also be wary of imposter apps, especially anti-virus tools (Symantec has removed fake ‘Norton Anti-virus' apps from the Play Store in the past), as these can be used by criminals to scam you. Using the above example of the calculator app - a favourite trick is to send thousands of automatic text messages to premium rate numbers, landing you with the bill.

3. Take Care with Online Gaming Apps

Having access to casino games on the go is one of the benefits of smartphone gaming but it's important to find a trustworthy operator, especially if you intend to play cash games. Closing the app and visiting the company's website with your browser is an easy way to determine the legitimacy of a gambling firm, as most casinos have their credentials on the homepage. The Betway app, for example, is regulated by the Belgian Gaming Commission, as well as other bodies such as the European Sports Security Association.

The same goes for apps with micro-transactions. Reports indicate that micro-transactions - small payments for extra lives, in-game currency, or other luxuries - make up 79% of all mobile developer income. They're an easy way to make money from otherwise ‘free' apps and they're not going away.

Ensure that all payments you make on a mobile platform go through the Play Store or the App Store, as the two companies have various safeguards in place to prevent fraud, and you may be able to get a refund if the app doesn't work as expected or somebody else uses your account to buy things. Apple and Google won't share your payment details with the company who created the app.

One final point - you can learn a lot about a mobile game, from compatibility and user experience to the number of micro-transactions, by reading the customer reviews on the two app stores before downloading the app to your phone. It sounds cynical but somebody else's bad luck might just save you from installing a fraudulent or malicious app.

There was a time when all the main gaming you did was played out on a console or a PC, but how times have changed. In line with virtually everything technological, people are now generally looking for a "one device does everything" approach to play in order to enjoy everything from movies and social media to bingo online. This, along with ever more available wireless go-anywhere connectivity, means that smartphones are now becoming many people's first choice for gaming.

The manufacturers are well aware of this fact and are incorporating more and more gamer-friendly features into each new generation of phones. So here are five to get your fingers twitching in anticipation of their 2017 launches.

Apple iPhone 7S

Hard to believe it, but 2017 sees the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and what a long way it's come since its launch. Traditionally Apple make all their big product launches in September and there's no reason why next year should be any different, Rumours are already rife that the 7S may have an OLED screen giving extra-sharp picture quality as well as the phone featuring wireless charging. What will definitely be included are the revolutionary wireless headphones that are great for gaming.

Xiaomi Mi Mix

Due out from January the Xiaomi Mi Mix is proof, as if it was needed, that some of the lesser-known manufacturers have some big surprises up their sleeves. Most notable on this phone will be the big, edgeless screen which comprised over 93% of the total phone size and which promises crystal-clear images. This is married to a super-fast processer and up to 6GB of RAM. For fantastic sound there's also going to be the very technical sounding "cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology".

HTC 11

Their preceding model, the HTC 10, was widely agreed to be the model that really put the maker back on the map and the 11 is likely to be an improvement even on this model, due out in April. Sound is likely to include the successful Boomsound speakers and a fast Snapdragon 830 processor will be able to deal with all the gaming action that you need. They're also likely to increase the screen size from 5.2" up to 5.5" and up the battery power which will mean less frequent need for e-charging.

LG G6

The end of February should see the launch of the G6. It's expected to have a glass front and rear. Of particular interest to gamers are the plans to improve the processor to prepare it for Virtual Reality applications. Wireless charging is also likely to feature as well as an innovative iris-scanning technology to help keep the phone safe from unauthorised use.

Samsung Galaxy 8

Following the disastrous and costly launch of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung have a lot riding on the 8. They've got till August to get it right and when it is launched we're expecting to have a phone with a large 5.7" screen and a powerful processor ready for VR gaming. Waterproofing is almost certain too - ideal if you're a fan of gaming in the bath.

So of all the phones it's inevitable that the most noise will be made about Apple's - but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the only one for gaming. So maybe look to the Xiaomi if you want the biggest, and best, surprises.

Mobile games are an integral part of our everyday lives today. With more than 2 billion smartphone users, there is a massive player base behind them - no wonder mobile has become the most used (and most profitable) gaming platform of the world. The top games come and go - titles like Pokemon Go, Clash of Clans, and similar ones, briefly take over the top spot in the list of the most used apps of the world. There is a game type, though, that is constantly in the top 10, with millions choosing its casual fun day after day: slot machines. In the US, they are played socially, while in the rest of the world, players can choose between social versions and the real thing, offered by the Royal Vegas Canada (among many others).

With millions choosing to spin the reels all over the world, slot machines are clearly among the most played casual games at a global scale. Let's see which were the Top 5 Most Popular Slots for October.

5. Dragon Dance

The Dragon Dance is a very popular street spectacle in China - an integral part of many major festivals. To make every day a celebration, the Royal Vegas has brought forth the Dragon Dance slot machine this February, as a way to greet the Chinese New Year. The game is not only popular around this holiday, though - this October, it was the fifth most played game at the casino.

4. Shanghai Beauty

A new addition to the Royal Vegas game library, Shanghai Beauty takes its players on a trip into the sophisticated, elegant world of Asia. While the game doesn't have many bonus features, its combination of relaxing music and exciting action has turned it into a favorite last month.

3. Mega Moolah

While the game itself is fun to play, most Mega Moolah players choose it for its big win. It's the game with the most generous jackpot at the Royal Vegas - it pays out millions to its luckiest fans several times a year. This jungle-themed slot machine was the third most played game here this October.

2. Bar Bar Black Sheep

A game based on a popular nursery rhyme, Bar Bar Black Sheep has more than just a cute look and a soothing music. Its reels are filled with farm-related symbols, along with a BAR symbol borrowed from the classic Vegas slot machines. Two BARs, coupled with a Black Sheep symbol, trigger the game's generous bonus, paying out up to 999 times the triggering bet.

1. Lost Vegas

With Halloween coming, Royal Vegas players seemed to have found their taste for horror. Lost Vegas was the perfect game for them - it took them on a trip to a zombie-ridden Las Vegas, allowing them to join the Survivors or the Zombies in their quest for unimaginable riches.

Smartphone technology has single-handedly transformed a range of industries and the way we do things in a lot of areas within such a short space of time.
In this aspect, the mobile and gambling industry is no different, with mobile phones actually helping to save the sector as well as being a big part of its future and prosperity. There are a number of ways that smartphones have brought about changes to online gaming as the industry has willingly embraced the innovative platforms, helping to increase the amount of players and operators' revenue.

With that in mind, in this post we shall take a closer look at 3 ways smartphones have changed the gambling industry.

Easier Access and Greater Convenience

The Internet opened new avenues for gambling providers to reach their existing customers as well as millions of potential new ones. The advent of smartphones meant that each mobile user was now a potential customer, even if it were only for free to play games.
Nowadays, online games such as bingo and other casino and gambling games are amongst the most popular and with new players coming on board all the time. In this case resources such as bingosites.uk guides to playing bingo help new players to acclimatise and find the games they prefer and are good at. The easier access and convenience provided by smartphones also means that all the information players need is always only a tap away.

Internet connected mobile phones therefore helped to bring easier access and greater convenience to anyone interested in playing casino games or online gambling. This is one of the biggest reasons behind the growth and popularity of mobile games and gambling.

A Wider Variety of Games

Another benefit that smartphones have brought to the gambling industry is the ability to offer a wider variety of games for players to choose from. From digital versions of traditional games such as blackjack, roulette, or bingo, titles with different themes and game play are also now available. Gambling operators can now offer a wider range of games than they could ever do at any one time in physical locations. This is another reason behind the growth in the numbers of people who take part in mobile gambling, as there are games to suit all tastes and abilities.

A More Social Experience

As contradictory as it may sound, smartphones have actually helped to make gambling a more social experience for players. Even though footfall may have fallen in general at physical casinos, mobile phones are able to bring like-minded people together faster, and easier. With both social media sites and gambling games based on the same platforms, it easier to share your interests and favourite games with your friends or even the rest of the world if you wish.
This social involvement and the points mentioned above have fuelled a growth in gambling tourism, resulting in an increase in players visiting real world casino again.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the three points above show how much of an impact smartphones have had on the gambling industry to become one of its biggest drivers of growth in user numbers and revenue. With innovations coming fast and the sector always keen to embrace new technologies, the future of the two seem intertwined for now.

Mobile phones have come so far from the days of the Nokia 3310 that it almost seems unbelievable today. A concept like that of say the Galaxy S8 would have seemed like fan-fiction even a decade ago, but today it's a reality. Modern smartphones are essentially portable computers capable of doing most of the everyday tasks that was previously only possible for a PC or a Mac, and gaming is one of those things. Sure, the games are definitely not as hardcore or graphically intense as the ones designed for a console or a PC, but that's the beauty of it; they don't have to be. They are popular because they are relatively simple and you don't need a super-expensive and power-hungry PC/console and monitor/big screen TV combo to play them.

Expected Growth

If you had any doubts regarding how popular gaming on mobile phones has become, then consider the following statistics to clear those doubts for good.

• By the end of 2017, the gaming industry as a whole will reach a total worth of $108.9 billion
• Mobile games will account for 42% of that total market value by reaching $46.1 billion
• The stats will reflect a remarkable 19% YOY growth for the mobile gaming industry
• The share of the mobile gaming business could surpass 50% of the gaming industry's total worth by the year 2020

What is Fuelling this Rapid Growth?

There are so many factors contributing directly to this swift growth of the mobile gaming industry that it would be easier to explain if they were separated in specific points.

Mobiles are Cheaper

The Android revolution has made mobiles cheaper and since last year, even the most basic $100 phones have started to provide decent and playable gaming performances; something that was unthinkable even in 2014 or early 2015. Additionally, even a flagship smartphone like the Galaxy S8+ or the iPhone 7 Plus is significantly cheaper than a high-end gaming PC. You can argue that a console is cheaper but then you would have to consider the fact that they are typically gaming-only devices, while a smartphone is a portable console, a camera, a phone and so much more.

The Perfect Platform for Online Gamblers

Games like Sizzling Hot are extremely popular among online gamblers and a smartphone allows them to play all of their favorite slot and card games from anywhere in the world. In fact, most online casinos even have dedicated Android and iOS apps to make the experience even smoother for their patrons.

Wider Reach

Everybody has a smartphone now and that's one of the most important reasons as to why mobile gaming is the future. It is so much easier for app developers to reach their customers for that specific reason. Paying for apps, games, bets and in-app purchases are also much easier to do on the phone and surveys have confirmed that people prefer it that way.

Finally, we come to the last reason and that's not only related to the rise of the mobile gaming industry but it is also one of the premier causes responsible for the ever-increasing popularity of the smartphones themselves. They are just so much more comfortable to use than laptops or desktops! You can play games for hours on a phone while travelling or lying on the bed. As mobile phones continue to become more and more advanced with each passing year, they are more than likely to establish themselves as the future standard for portable gaming.

It seems like every year we hear that mobile gaming will take over all forms of games and will reign supreme. While this isn't likely to happen, one thing we do know though is that it fuels a lot of people's entertainment, makes huge levels of cash for the industry, and provides innovation that pushes games to new levels.

The rise of mobile gaming has been impressive to say the least. Ever since people played Snake on their old Nokia phones, the potential has been there for the handheld device to offer more to gamers. With the improvements of technology and the rise of both iOS and Android, the rise of the app and most importantly gaming apps have taken hold and we are in the age of mobile gaming.

Mobile gaming is now a billion-dollar industry, and has shaped a new model of the way people pay for games. There are a lot of games now that are "Freemium" games, allowing the player to download and play for free, before adding money into the game when they needed it. The key of course is that it is purely the gamers choice whether to add more money into the game with in-game transactions. The thing is though, this idea works.

If the game is good enough to hook the players, it seems that they are more than willing to make in-game purchases to add to the fun they are experiencing. Many in the industry are noticing the potential for profit here, and that in turn fuels the creation of better and more entertaining games that will in turn make more money that can then be put into the production and evolution of games.

This is what fuels gaming today, and the fact that mobile devices can also be used for both virtual and augmented reality show that these devices are still at the forefront of gaming innovation. Just looking at Pokémon Go as an example, you can see just where the technology in the phone is now taking the player, and that is into an even more mobile world.

Mobile gaming on devices has given the players unrestricted access to games while on the movie. Whether it is playing a game like Candy Crush Saga or one of its clones, or even playing roulette on a UK mobile casino while on their dinner breaks, the players are doing so on the movie. It is this flexibility in mobile gaming that is fueling the success of it, and changing the way we game.

While mobile gaming may not take over the world of gaming as we know it, it now has its fair share of the market, and is here to stay. Gaming is hugely popular now in all forms, that includes mobile gaming, and there is one thing for sure, this is a very good time to be a gamer, never have we had such a choice of ways to game as we do now.

The new mobile apps and mobile software have entirely changed the course of mobile gaming. The more the casinos adopt new technologies and betting games, there has been a great influence on the casino industry. In the following article, UK based Sailor Bingo website has summarised how the casino industry has evolved and transformed over the years.

Statistics of Mobile Casino Industry

• According to an online casino report, the revenue from online betting was estimated at $4 billion in the year 2012. However, currently, the casino industry generates $41.4 billion worth of profits through online betting.

• Some of the statistics show that the mobile casino industry is worth $100 billion alone.

• According to an online report published in one of the reputed websites, it is predicted that the tablet-gambling industry alone will reach a commendable mark of £13 billion worth by 2019.

• In 1986, the technology took the horseracing to a next level with betting stores offering drinks and Televisions showing the live coverage of horse races. There were also fruit machines and fixed- odds betting available for the players.

1. Mobile Apps and New Mobile Games

The new age of Smartphones has seen a rapid growth in the online casino sector. There are many inventions in the mobile casino gaming to suit the requirements of the players. It is easier for users to access their favourite casino games on the fingertips. Android and Apple stores are now having a wide range of casino games which are compatible with any kind of device. The statisticians of the mobile gaming industry have estimated that 56% of the USA's population prefer playing games on mobile devices rather than desktops or laptops.

2. From Real Time Slot Machines to Video Slots

There was a time when players had to visit the land- based casinos or betting shops in order to play their stakes on slot machines. Now the technology brings the experience of casinos from your homes and on your mobile phones and desktops. You can choose to play from thousands of themed- based video slots at any of the mobile casinos. You can place your stakes on the video slots and spin the reels to get real money wins.

3. Online Betting and Betting Shops

There are many options available for the players to place their stakes on horse races using the online mediums of betting. However, there is a risk of misusing of funds or identity theft involved in using online betting mediums for betting. When you visit a bookmaker, you can purchase the betting tickets on real time basis and they only deal with cash. Hence, you can have 100% security that your funds in the safe hands.

We decided to research ways to improve one's gaming skills. The tips below are meant to help you improve your chops in a range of game genres and get an edge on the competition.

We will focus on fundamental skills without going into specifics.

For the fact that there are vast differences between game genres (in first-person shooter games, reaction-time and fine motor control will be relevant; but in RPGs, visual acuity may be more relevant, where you are trying to detect subtle motions in a large open environment; in eSports, its perception, decision-making, and hand-eye coordination), not all games will require all of these skills, but they will include at least one of them.

Some of the tips may seem like a trifle to you. But mind you, each one makes a little, subtle improvement, and when combined together, that should add up to a fundamental improvement in your overall performance.

So, hopefully, you'll come out with some new ideas to try.

Be in good health and try to improve your abilities like memory

Playing a video game at the highest level requires your body, mind, and moral to be in excellent condition.

Gamers often skip basic meals and play into the wee hours. Such a lifestyle will hardly have a positive effect on your abilities, right? So don't forget to get enough sleep and eat well.

In strategies, like Clash of Clans, memory is very important. And there are tips and tricks for you to try in this regard, find some here.

Improve your environment

Create an optimal environment for yourself.

Improve your listening. Try to eliminate distractions by turning down (or off) the soundtrack and raising the volume of SFX, if the game gives you an option to mix sound levels. Also wearing quality, better yet noise-cancelling, gaming headphones will help hear the slightest movements. The worst is listening to your favorite music - it will keep engaging you. Turning off music will help brain concentrate fully on the gameplay.

Improve your visibility. Sometimes games are made a bit dark. If you want to spot someone before they spot you, adjust screen brightness to make colors brighter - this will provide contrast.

Use the tricks of the trade that everyone is using

Get cheat codes, tricks, and shortcuts. They are aplenty on the Web and can be extremely helpful. Knowing shortcuts or tricks gives you an edge.

Review what other players share on game's forums and places like Steam or Discord.

Learn by watching others, and yourself

Watch other gamers on Twitch or YouTube. By watching the pros, you can learn pro tricks and shortcuts or something you didn't know before.

Watch replays of yourself playing too! Analyze. Review every step you have taken, what you were thinking at that moment and what has actually happened. Most helpful when playing games like shooters and strategy games.

Play against players who are stronger than you

Playing with or against more skilled players will make you push and stretch yourself.

Get better, more comfortable gear

Having an ergonomic mouse or controller that is comfortable for you, can make all the difference. Try different alternatives. Without comfy accessories you will find it hard to play for extended periods of time. For example, without a gaming chair, you could very soon experience pain and stiffness in all kinds of places of your body.

Set up your mobile device in the best way

Visually rich games, like Hay Match, that employ a lot of animations require your device to work stable and smooth. Mobile users can change their device's settings to optimize resources consumption and thus improve mobile gaming experience.

Try playing with Android Developer options and multi-sample anti-aliasing, turning off background services, using booster apps to save precious resources. Better yet, buy a gaming phone.

Know the lore and developer info

Sit down and read game's guide if one has been provided by the devs. You'll find such handy info as button layouts, shortcuts, tactics, lore, and tips for improving your gameplay right out of the box. This will definitely make your learning curve shorter. Make use of the training mode as well.

Customize your controls

Don't take factory sensitivity of the controls for granted. They don't work equally for everyone. Test different options, find what works for you, refine it. It should make a subtle but fundamental improvement in your performance.

Practice, of course

As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. And learn how to handle defeat: Keep iterating after failure, don't let frustration or anger take over you.

Let's face it; a lot of online gaming platforms are just awful. The services and games are fine but the websites are stuck in the early 2000s. I don't know about you but I've come to expect a bit of quality from the websites I plan to spend some time at.

It's 2018 for Pete's sake and it's about time that online gaming catches up to the rest of the Internet.

As the gambling industry keeps on growing, many casinos are now available online as well. Nowadays, gambling lovers have the unique opportunity to play all their favorite casino games in the comfort of their homes. Namely this is one of the reasons why online gaming has managed to become so popular.

Players have the chance to choose between some of the gambling classics like roulette, slots, blackjack as well as some of the latest games without even going to a casino.

Growth

The online gambling industry is growing quite fast and new online casinos appear all the time in an attempt to provide customers with the best gambling experience. A large number of the experts consider that 2018 will be one of the most successful years for online gaming. What is more, the number of the players that prefer using their smartphones, rather than going to a casino in order to gamble keeps on growing. Thus, online gambling becomes one of the fields that is expected to have the highest growth potential. There are surveys showing that the revenues from mobile gambling are higher than the revenues generated by people using their computers in order to place their bets.

One more thing that is quite indicative of this is the fact that revenues from online gambling reached several billion dollars. Yet, as the industry continues developing, more and more people all over the globe start their journey in the gambling world, thus increasing profits dramatically.

New Mobile Casinos

Nowadays, gamblers have the chance to choose from a wide diversity of mobile casinos that are trying to offer something new and different. It is expected that in 2018 the number of the casinos that have gone online will also increase considerably due to the fact that more and more people want to gamble while they are at home or while they are on the move.

Nevertheless, players should be careful when choosing where to place their bets. It is extremely important to find a trustworthy casino that guarantees your security and protects your personal information. When talking about mobile casinos, players really need to choose wisely. However, the choice can be easier if you check the review of William Hill casino app or any other application. Usually this is how people decide whether or not a casino fits their needs and expectations.

Tournaments

In recent years eSports have developed to a scene where players test their skills and show what they can. What is more, competitive gaming is now becoming more and more popular amongst players. Of course, these competitions and tournaments are quite attractive also because of the prizes they offer. As the number of people who prefer games that are played competitively increases substantially, eSports will definitely enjoy great success. What is more, a lot of money is spent in order to improve mobile gaming and deal with some of its limitations.

3D Slots

When playing games with 3D characteristics, you will definitely feel just like you are in a casino. This will make the games more exciting and entertaining. If you are one of those casino fans who prefer slot machines, you will undoubtedly enjoy their 3D version. The vibrant colors, amazing sound effects, and graphics attract players' attention. In addition to this, most of the 3D slots offer а complex storyline, which makes the games even more intriguing.

It is expected that this type of game will enjoy even greater popularity in 2018. It turns out that augmented reality will definitely change the gambling world and will become an indispensable part of it. It will provide players with an unforgettable experience, but at the same time will keep all the benefits of online casinos.

New Currencies

As it was already mentioned, online gambling is one of the most dynamic markets. This means that it needs to keep up with all the trends in the gambling world as well as with customers' demands. Only a few years ago, cryptocurrencies were something new and most of us had not even heard of them. It turns out that such type of currencies are gaining in popularity, and they are now becoming one of the most widespread payment methods in online casinos.

These currencies can be used in other games as well. They can be extremely useful when players have purchased resources for one game, but they want to use them in another one as well. What is more, many players want to have the opportunity to raise money for a particular game, but not in a traditional way. Some developers have created coins that can be used in one particular game and that can also be sold to other players. Yet, developers first need to deal with some regulatory obstacles, before entirely implementing cryptocurrencies in online gambling.

As the gambling world keeps on growing and developing, many improvements are expected to be made in 2018. Thus, players can become part of the gambling community easier and enjoy a trouble-free experience.

It's not quite an age-old battle - because the iPhone and Android devices have been in competition for just 10 years. But it's a battle that stirs up strong loyalties on both sides, with the disciples of the late Steve Jobs on one side and Android advocates on the other. While Apple is on course to become the world's first trillion dollar company with reported sales of nearly $230 billion in 2017, it's an Android device that you'll find in most people's hands, at a ratio of around 2:1.

From the figures alone, you could well be led to assume that the sheer number of users means that Android is the undisputed champion when it comes to mobile gaming. But, as will soon emerge, it's a rather more complex situation than that.

First, though, a little about the amazing growth of mobile gaming itself. Since 2015 it has overtaken PC and console gaming in terms of revenue generated - and this continues to rise at an exponential rate. For example between 2014 and 2017 it grew from $25 billion to $46.2 billion. The number of users is also growing faster than other platforms with an estimated 200 million people worldwide using their mobiles for gaming in 2017, a 50 million increase since 2014 and a figure that leaves PC and console players in its wake.

Similarly, the number of games released for mobiles truly dwarfs the latter. 2017 figures show that over 152,000 new titles became available via app stores in 2017 compared with under 4,000 PC and console games.

Apple games are often the first to be launched...

It's a fact that most mobile games that are launched are designed for Apple devices. There are a couple of reasons for this. The first is that, at any one time there are probably only five or six different versions of the iPhone that they need to work on, while Android devices (with the various makes and models that run the Android system) run into the thousands. So obviously, this makes the developer's task that much more challenging for Android.

It's also a matter of economics. Developing any game is costly, so money needs to be made back as quickly as possible. It just so happens that users of Apple's App Store seem keener to pay for games than visitors to the Google Play store do. So it's always made sense to concentrate on games for Apple first and then adapt them to be played on Android devices.

This possibly has some big advantages for Android players as, while they may have to wait a little while longer for a game, it could have been improved and developed from the original by the time it's ready for the Android platform.

...but which is the better for players?

Android users are generally harsher critics of games

What do players themselves think about the differences between Apple and Android versions of games?

Well, it appears that Android users are generally harsher critics of games than Apple fans. Over at the App Store you're likely to see plenty of 4.5 star + reviews, while in the Android Play Store a game's doing well if it gets a 4 star rating at best. So you can be confident that a high rating Android game really is good.

Plus the most complex games out there need big chunks of memory to play well - and this is one of a few areas where the Android system is very strong. Unlike the sealed-system approach of Apple, it's fairly easy to give an Android device an upgrade by installing a custom ROM to boost performance. But having said this, Apple devices, and particularly those with larger memories, can handle even the most dazzlingly designed of games.

The power to play without breaks

Apple's limited battery life has proved frustrating for many users

A frequent bugbear - even among the most dedicated fans of Apple products - is the fact that a battery charge doesn't last as long as it could. While this is a nuisance when you're nowhere near a charger and the juice runs out, it's extra annoying when it happens in the middle of a game.

Thanks to the design of iPhones, the size of the battery they can put in their devices is limited. On the other hand, makers of Android devices can fit larger, more powerful batteries which can run for longer on a single charge, even up to nearly 17 hours on a single charge. So when it comes to having a mobile device that you can be sure will have the power you need to play, the Android system is a clear winner in this respect.

Mobile gaming rules the roost

Over 80% of traffic to slots website Roseslots comes from mobile

Being easy and satisfying to play is very important for all kinds of mobile games. It's equally vital for businesses like online gaming sites, too - particularly gambling operators offering slots games. Websites like this are finding that more and more of their traffic comes from mobile devices - as greater users realise the perks of playing their favourite slots games from the comfort of their own home, or if they're on the move.

One of the newest slots operators is Roseslots.com, which currently sees over 80% of player traffic on mobile. As a response to this, slots designers have sought to optimise the gameplay experience for mobile users - with high-quality graphics and immersive, engaging plots and themes. To see this for yourself, check out Starburst Touch - a glorious slot game developed by Swedish developers NeTent - which strikes the perfect balance between vibrant design and straightforward gameplay.

So armed with all this information, can we say for sure whether iOS or Android is best for gaming? Well, there are plenty of arguments for both. If you always want to be first with the new games then it's got to be Apple but if you're happy to wait a little longer for a game to appear on Android then you could even find that it's an improvement on the original. In terms of performance, both Android and Apple have their own particular strengths so, in the final analysis, it's probably not so important which kind of device you use.

The most important thing? Make sure you enjoy the game.

The revenue stats make it clear, mobile gaming is immensely popular. It is estimated that in 2018, revenues of mobile games will hit $70.3 billion, which is more than 50% than the overall gaming revenue of $137.9 billion. Mobile gaming has grabbed hold of the market because it's affordable (many mobile games are free to play) and they're accessible (players can access high-quality games on the go).

But the influence of mobile devices on gaming goes far beyond the financials. They have also had an impact on the wider games industry, changing how developers both on and off mobile devices create and market their titles.

Real-World Exploration

In July 2016, Niantic released a little game called Pokemon GO. The game allowed players to explore the real-world, catching Pokemon, battling for territory, and more. It also features a "buddy" system that allows Pokemon to accompany players as they explore for greater rewards.

Pokemon GO's success has impacted Let's Go Pokemon, the upcoming main Pokemon games for Nintendo Switch. The Poke Ball Plus device allows players to select a Pokemon and take them for a stroll by carrying them "within" the device, earning rewards when they return. The mechanic is directly borrowed from Pokemon GO and shows the impact of that game's success.

SMS Integration

You may well be familiar with the concept of SMS/text games e.g Never Have I Ever and 20 Questions, smartphones have allowed SMS integration to be kicked up a notch. These days, there is even greater integration and it's quite common for game developers to text you about updates to their mobile games or even to send you links to install their apps.

The use of SMS even allows gamers - on mobile or on other platforms - to get bonuses for other games. In some cases, this involves rewards when you've referred a new player via text or, like some no deposit bonus casino offers, players are able to activate their bonuses via text. In some casino promotions, free spins are delivered via text, with players able to verify and accept their free spins before jumping into the games they want to play.

Cross-Platform Play

Gaming that allows players on PC and console has been a concept for a while, but with the rise of mobile gaming, that has been kicked up a notch. Mobile gaming allows players to play games on the go, but people still want to play with their friends and squad members, making cross-play a winning feature.

The mobile version of Fortnite is just the latest example of this, as its cross-platform play lets players on PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices to play alongside one another. While there are some technical hurdles, such as limits on using keyboard and mouse support to get ahead, it has shown other game developers why they need the feature.

The revenue shows that mobile gaming is only growing in popularity. This means that its influence on the wider industry is only set to grow, not fade. What are the next impacts we could see? Portable console screens? More free to play, casual titles. It will be exciting to find out.

mobile-gaming-

As technology advances, mobile phones improve and with them so does the online gaming experience. It's quite hard to decide which is the best mobile phone for online gaming in 2018 because we've seen so many great ones launched recently, but there are certain factors that can help us, and you, make a choice.

The best gaming phone should have top hardware and software, sharp screens, large battery power so that you can maintain optimal performance at all times, as well as a great way to cool off so it doesn't overheat, and the potential to display everything in full HD, 3D and HQ.

Depending on what type of gaming you wish to do there might be a number of gaming phones that you could choose between. While some are more suitable for playing online and even trying some live casino games, others will work better with games downloaded from the app store.

Talking about app possibilities, Apple's iPhone is still number one offering a huge number of games and bringing them to you faster than Android devices can. But this is not the only factor, so let's talk about chipsets, Ram, graphics, quality, size, VR support and more, to find out which mobile phone is best for gaming.

Razer Phone

mobile-gaming-razr

This company became well-known by manufacturing some epic gaming accessories and laptops, but they've recently entered the smartphone world to make sure that mobile gamers were happy.

The Razer gaming phone has only one available configuration of 8 GB RAM and 64 GB storage and a Snapdragon 835 chipset. The speakers are unbelievable and offer super immersive sound, but it's the display that steals the show with it's 5.7 inches and 120 Hz refresh rate. The frame transitions are smooth and there's no lag even when playing the most demanding games that need split-second reactions. You also benefit from Razer's Game Booster that controls gaming settings like resolution, frame rate and processing power.

iPhone X

mobile-gaming-iphone-x

The iPhone wasn't built for gaming, but this doesn't mean it can't rock at it. Because app developers have an easier time developing games for iOS than for Android who has many hardware configuration, those that choose this phone will get amazing games faster on the App Store, way before Android gamers will get them. For example, Apple enthusiasts got their hands on Fortnite months before Android gamers were able to.

Android gamers argue that their phones offer more control, but the fastness, the choice, the good optimization and performance of Apple hardware speaks for itself. While all Apple phones will give you a run for your money, it's the iPhone X that steals the show, seeing as it is the latest and top model at the moment. If it's still too expensive for you right now you can also try the iPhone 8 Plus which is great as well and also has a classic look to it.

Xiaomi Black Shark

mobile-gaming-xiaomi-black-shark

This one is clearly made for gaming and has a design that screams this with black and bright highlights and an angular look. It not only looks the part, but it also acts it with an octa core CPU, 8 GB Ram, an Adreno 630 GPU as well as an epic cooling system. It also features a dedicated Shark button that will switch the phone to maximum performance and get you into a gaming landscape mode.

Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+

mobile-gaming-s9-galaxy

Both Galaxy S9 and S9+ are the best Android smartphones available right now. They have a special Game Mode that has both Game Launcher and Game Tools because Samsung wants mobile gamers to feel at home. From the Game Launcher you get access to all your games and the Game Tools will change the screen to support many game with different aspect ratios.

The 5.8-inch AMOLED Infinity curved display of the Galaxy S9 (it's6.2 inches on the S9+) comes with a 18.5:9 aspect ratio, a 1440x2960 resolution that somehow completes a thin and sexy phone. Powered by a 3000 mAh battery, the Galaxies have a Snapdragon 845 processor, an Adreno 630 GPU and 4 GB of RAM (6GB in the S9+).

To top it all off, on Samsung you also get to play VR mobile games in perfect quality because it also has a compatible VR headset.

These are the top options for mobile gaming in 2018. While all of them are great, in order to decide which one is best for you, you need to think about what exactly you want from it and also about your personal preferences. While you might feel like an Android device would fit your needs, will you be able to let go of Apple and change?

As time passed, the internet has become an important part of our daily lives. From the way in which we receive information, to the way in which we interact with the world around us. Owning a smartphone has become almost necessary in the modern world and most people are able to afford at least a decent smartphone.

With the help of that smartphone or any other smart device, the gates towards a vast collection of information are opened. The internet is without question one of the most important tools available to us, but, like every powerful tool, it should be used with caution.

Gaming on Mobile

The rise in mobile usage has led to many game brands and developers to reach a wider audience and develop games with a more casual-like experience in order for them to be enjoyed and played by almost anyone.

Games available online are becoming more and more complex with each new generation. These online games are more casual than their PC and console counterparts and come in many different varieties.

The internet has allowed online gaming to become a popular trend with mobile users. There are many adults who are able to find plenty of entertainment in online games, especially online casino games, which have risen in popularity at a massive pace since their introduction into the virtual world.

This makes it a lot easier for people who want to enjoy their favorite online game without the need to travel to a land-based casino. Let's say that you are on a plane and you are waiting to get to your destination. In this situation, online games can come in handy. Being able to just take out your phone and with the press of a few buttons, you can play your favorite game on the spot.

Imagine another scenario in which you are traveling and you stop by a coffee shop or a motel. Here is another situation where choosing to play online games comes in handy. If you are a hardcore gamer, this is something that you are not able to do with a console or a PC. You cannot simply just take your PC with you anywhere you go and taking a console is another major inconvenience.

When it comes to online casino games, an important factor to take into consideration would be security. There are a few "must know hows" to be aware of when choosing an online casino game. Depending on the person, gambling online can be much more enjoyable than gambling in a land-based casino.

Because in the online world, casinos go mostly unregulated, it is important to choose a casino game from a reputable brand. In order to decide whether or not the game is trustworthy, make sure to read reviews and take into consideration other people's opinion and experience with the chosen game. Reputable casino brands offer a large selection of different online games to choose, for example: online slots, cards and roulette.

Online versions of slots offer the same enjoyable experience as the ones that are found in a land-based casino. Also, they are most likely the first type of games that can be found when opening a casino website.

Be aware of the popularity of your chosen game. The higher the game appears in your search result, the more played that game is. If your game appears in the top search results, then you're most likely good to go. Also, when logging into a public wi-fi, make sure that it has a stable connection and is secured. Because online games require a stable internet connection, any hiccups in with the connectivity can lead to frustrations and a bad gaming experience for the player.

Final Thoughts

There is no doubt that the mobile platform continues to evolve and we cannot know for sure what the future may hold for them. The most important factor to take into consideration is its convenience, being able to play anytime you want and whenever you want, unlike PC or console games, which can only be played at home.

In roughly a few weeks' time, the Galaxy S10 series of smartphones are going to come in with the latest processors, not to mention a whole range of others from different manufacturers will be launched as well. But what about now? Is it a good time to buy a gaming phone right now, or should you hold on to your money for a bit longer? Well, holding on to your money for a bit longer is definitely advised, but for those that need to buy a phone right now, here are a few models that won't let you down.

Galaxy Note 9

note-9-gaming

It's the latest flagship smartphone from the world's leading smartphone manufacturer with the latest SoC, a huge battery and a gorgeous 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display; it's hard to beat all that to be honest, especially once you factor in the included S-Pen stylus and the fantastic cameras.

Xiaomi Black Shark

xiaomi-black-shark-gaming

The Black Shark is due to get an update this year with Black Shark 2, but till then, this one is a beast of a smartphone and by far, the most dedicated gaming phone on this list. In addition to all the bells and whistles like a 4,000mAh battery, SD 845 SoC with liquid cooling and a separate image processor, the Black Shark can also be fitted with Joy-Con like controllers on its sides, just like the Nintendo Switch. The controller compatibility makes the Black Shark arguably the best gaming phone in the market.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT

z5-pro-gt-lenovo-gaming

Finally on this list, we have the only phone with the SD 855 SoC in the world right now. While others will catch up soon, as of now, Lenovo has the most powerful smartphone in existence and it's called Z5 Pro GT. Aside from the next gen SoC, the GT also has 12GB of RAM and a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, making it an incredibly lucrative package. However, the 3,350mAh battery on the phone is a bit of a let down.

As mentioned earlier, waiting is advised, but if you are in a hurry and need a phone right now that can take care of all your gaming needs, these are the three to choose from.

The mobile market is expected to take a huge leap in a bold new direction with foldable smartphones. As is expected for release by Samsung and Huawei this year, this approach means that smartphones will be able to have tablet-sized screens but still remain pocket-sized and convenient. Mobile gaming and media consumption have influenced the gradual rising size of smartphone screens. This recent folding innovation could have come about in order to enhance the gaming experience. This ingenious invention could boost the thriving mobile gaming sector even more.

The mobile gaming market is already booming, and was worth $137.9 billion in 2018. It is projected to grow to an astonishing $180 billion by 2021 - and this rapid increase could be helped by foldable smartphones. Looking at the Galaxy Fold from Samsung, the screen will open up to a size of 7.3 inches. Its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S10, has a screen size of 5.8 inches. Given the fact that the S10 is considered among the larger smartphones ever made, it highlights just how much bigger the foldable offering will be.

According to GO-Globe, over 62 percent of smartphone users install and play games on their devices, and it makes sense that to be able to enjoy the games fully they would require a larger screen. This is one of the reasons why tablets came about, but the bigger devices are bulkier and harder to carry around than smartphones. Foldable smartphones could bring about a happy medium.

The iGaming industry has played a major part in boosting the mobile gaming market, with a lot of slot games now being made with primary considerations focusing on the smaller devices rather than desktop. Games like Action Bank Slot and Ace of Spades, offered by Lucky Pants Bingo, can be played from mobile or desktop, but are arguably better suited to mobile play as the reels are enlarged to fit the whole screen. This creates a more immersive experience. On a larger surface with high definition graphics, these games will look even more impressive.

Another huge success story of the mobile gaming industry is the MMO genre, with titles like Ragnarok Online leading the way. These games have encouraged mass cooperative play online, and have challenged more established offerings like World of Warcraft and The Elder Scrolls for supremacy. The reason why they don't totally dominate over desktop offerings could be down to the fact that some players need to see these types of games on a larger screen. This is where the foldable smartphones could come in and help bring more players over to mobile.

With foldable smartphones yet to hit the market, there is still a lot of uncertainty around them. Samsung has said that its offering will be durable enough to last 200,000 folds. But the company has also had some disastrous products in the past which it has had to recall due to serious faults. If foldable phones don't have any major problems, they could become the norm in the near future. And if this happens, it is likely to be a major boost to the mobile gaming market.

gaming-android-boost

It's been years since the only reason people bought a mobile phone was to call people or send text messages. If that's all you want to do with your handset, you can now pick up a basic model for $20 or less from various outlets, and you can send and receive messages and calls to your heart's content. For the majority of us, though, we rely on our phones to do a lot more for us than that.

Smartphones are now also multimedia devices. We watch television shows and movies on them. We use them to store important files, documents, and photographs. We also use them to play games - and those games are slowly becoming more demanding on both hardware and software.

According to the latest official figures, the total amount spent on mobile gaming globally will exceed $100bn by the end of 2021. When it reaches that figure, it will account for over half of all the money spent on video gaming in the world. That means that for all the hype that comes with the latest big release for traditional video gaming consoles, the majority of the money to be made by software publishers actually comes from the mobile gaming market. A lot of that money comes from online casinos and their sister site, which have worked long and hard to ensure that their products are available for mobile-based players. The latest estimates suggest that online casinos globally take in around fifty billion dollars per year through mobile gaming, but even that massive amount still leaves another fifty billion to be taken by more 'traditional' video games.

Those figures lead to several questions - one of which being whether Sony will be disappointed by the performance of its new PlayStation console by the time it launches, because everyone's moved on to mobile gaming - but the one that's of more interest to our users is 'How do I optimize my mobile so I can play the best games?', and that's the question we're here to answer. Here are a few basic strategies you can employ.

1.                Use A Game Booster App

There are a few of these on the market, all of which should be easy to find through Play Store, or your equivalent. Android Cleaner is a good all-round tool to use because it does a lot for your device with a simple click, including freeing up RAM and clearing cache space, but it also has a 'game booster module,' which promises to improve the performance of games if they're launched through the feature. Dr. Booster and Game Booster Perform are also tried-and-trusted products, which work to eliminate lag issues and optimize the use of RAM when the apps are open.

2.                Force 4x MSAA Mode

You need to have developer mode active on an Android phone to do this. To open it, find the 'About Phone' section within your settings menu, open it up, and repeatedly tap the 'Build number' until you get offered the chance to switch on developer mode. When this is done, you'll find Developer Options further down the same list. Within Developer Options is 'Enable Force 4x MSAA.' This is effectively a turbocharger for your phone, which will become active as soon as you restart your device. Gaming performance should be noticeably improved - just beware of the effect on your battery life!

3.                Get Rid Of Unwanted Applications

All of us are guilty of installing applications, using them once or twice, and then forgetting they're there. This is doubly true If we're very organized with our applications because the apps can be placed with folders, where they become out of sight and out of mind. Every app you install will take up valuable memory space, and may also be using background processing power and bandwidth. The cumulative effect is that your phone gets slowed down in the process, and so games which place a high demand on your phone struggle to run. Go on a deep cleanse, and purge your phone of anything you don't use. This won't just improve the performance of your phone when it comes to playing games - you might find that your device becomes quicker and more responsive in general.

4.                Make Sure Your Version Of Android Is Up To Date

This might seem like an obvious suggestion, but a surprising number of us have automatic updates turned off, and we don't even realize it. Those updates often contain little performance tweaks which make the performance of your phone - and therefore the ability of your phone to deal with new games - better. This is another setting you'll find under the 'About phone' menu, which contains a 'System update' button. It's worth checking this periodically even if you do have automatic updates turned on, just to make sure you're definitely running the latest version. This isn't just about gaming - it's also about security.

5.                Keep Background Services Turned Off

Unless you really want them, keep your background services turned off. Social media apps are the worst offenders for this. Do you really need real-time notifications for Facebook and Twitter, or would you prefer to see them when you choose to log in to the app? Not getting constant updates means you have fewer distractions in your day to day life, and also means there's less demand being placed on your phone. Email clients and messaging services like WhatsApp are also large-scale offenders when it comes to background services, so decide what you do and don't need running all the time, and switch the rest off. You should find the option to do so under the settings menu in each individual app.

That's all there is to it; five little tips which can make all the difference when it comes to your enjoyment of playing games on your mobile. You shouldn't want or need to see much difference if online casinos are the extent of your mobile gaming habits - such websites are generally optimized to make them as easy to play as possible - but if you're a hardcore gamer, you're now a few minor alterations away from a happier gaming time, with fewer frustrations based on lagging and loading issues.

Being able to access and enjoy online games on the move is becoming increasingly important for smartphone users. Mobile gaming has moved far beyond the likes of Snake and Candy Crush to allow users to play games with demanding tech requirements that would have previously been the reserve of computers or consoles.

Leading models, such as the iPhone XS Max and the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, excel in almost every department, so these smartphones can offer some of the smoothest mobile gaming experiences. These all-rounders are perfect for those looking to integrate gaming alongside a plethora of other uses. However, some phones have been developed with gaming as their top priority.

Reliability is crucial in mobile gaming; you don't want your phone to let you down just as you are about to complete a level or win a game. A screen optimized for gaming is also crucial, otherwise you may as well wait until you can sit down at a laptop or console. The ideal gaming smartphone needs to be able to handle a variety of genres.

Battle royale titles such as Fortnite need to be realized in rich detail to allow players to see their opponents clearly. Live dealer games, as those available from the Genesis mobile casino site, should be shown with such clarity that players will feel transported a physical casino. Action titles, like Marvel Contest of Champions, should be portrayed in sharp colors to do justice to magical worlds and characters.

These three models excel at both reliability and graphics, with their most recent updates placing them at the cutting edge of online mobile gaming.

Razer Phone 2

Its 8GB RAM and a 4,000mAh battery are impressive, while the Razer Phone 2 has improved on its predecessor to include a Snapdragon 845 chip. A new vapor chamber that cools the phone during use is good news for those embarking on marathon gaming sessions, while its sleek design is more suited to everyday use than the Razer's main competitor, the Asus ROG Phone,. Despite the Asus phone's novel use of AirTriggers to enhance gaming, the Razer Phone 2 is a more well-rounded device.

OnePlus 7 Pro

The OnePlus 7 is more of a competitor to Apple and Samsung rather than dedicated gaming brands, but its Pro updates all serve to enhance the mobile gaming experience.  The OnePlus 7 Pro boasts the Snapdragon 855 chip. and has the capacity for 12GB RAM, allowing high-spec games to run with ease. A 90Hz refresh rate has improved an already strong screen, while the 19.5:9 aspect ratio means that all types of game worlds have room to shine. The Pro has also introduced significant updates to its camera, a benefit for augmented-reality games like Pokemon GO.

Xiaomi Black Shark 2

Xiaomi may not boast a huge profile in the smartphone market, but their Black Shark range is renowned as one of the strongest mobile gaming options. While the Black Shark 2 is not as widely available as some phones, it is a more affordable alternative to the industry heavyweights. The new OLED panel is a stark improvement on the first model's LCD screen, producing vivid colors that bring games to life. With a Snapdragon 855 chip facilitating 2.8GHz of processing, the Black Shark 2 can handle games like Fortnite with relatice ease.

If your phone's primary purpose is for online mobile gaming, it may be worth considering a model specifically developed with that in mind.

Mobile gambling is on the rise in the UK, with an estimated 51% of all online punters now wagering through their smartphone or tablet.

This number is set to increase incrementally over the course of the next decade, as the mobile gaming sector benefits from a number of cutting-edge trends and new technologies.

But what exactly are these trends, and how will they continue to impact on mobile gambling for the remainder of 2019 and beyond?

  1. The Continued Diversification of Live Casino Platforms

As mobile gambling continues to rise, so too has the popularity of live and real-time wagering.

This has also triggered the diversification of the live casino vertical, which has historically been dominated by traditional games such as roulette, blackjack and baccarat. However, pioneering development teams are now creating a wider range of real-time games, whilst also improving the authenticity of interactive dealers.

Market leading software houses like Evolution Gaming and NetEnt are driving this trend, as they continue to focus on the range and the pace of games that they provide in real-time.

As part of this evolution, developers are also creating a wider range of unique and three-dimensional camera angles, which deliver an increasingly immersive experience to players across the board.

  1. The Age of the No-deposit Bonus

The nature of welcome offers has continued to change throughout the years, with operators initially focused on providing huge deposit-matches of up to 400% in some instances.

The trend has changed in recent times, however, with players having become wise to the impact of wagering requirements and the conditions attached to such bonuses. The UK Gambling Commission has also clamped down on bonus terms and wagering requirements, creating considerably cynicism within the marketplace.

In the modern age, operators are increasingly likely to incentivise players by offering them a no-deposit. This type of package is not dependent on you crediting your account with a minimum sum of cash, whilst you can also keep what you win mobile casino no deposit bonus.

We're likely to see a rising number of these bonuses hit the market in the coming months, particularly as more operators enter the iGaming space and the level of competitiveness rises incrementally.

  1. The Rise of Cryptocurrency

Whilst Bitcoin may be the poster boy for cryptocurrencies, there are other coins and tokens available in what's fast becoming one of the world's fastest-growing marketplaces.

We've even seen the rise of so-called stable currencies in recent times, with these tokens pegged to fiat currencies like the U.S. Dollar in order to minimise volatility and optimise potential applications.

Immersive cryptocurrency platforms like Etherium offer a particularly relevant range of bonuses to players, as they provide secure channels through which individuals can fund their bankroll whilst also protecting their anonymity.

Remember, cryptocurrencies are powered by blockchain and have no direct link to your bank or credit card accounts. They also offer far greater levels of transparency to users, as each transaction is stored publicly and sits outside the control of a central authority.

red-magic-3-gaming-mobile

For too long, mobiles have been treated as second-class citizens in the world of gaming. Of course, all of us actually invested in mobile gaming know that the opportunities on this front regularly challenge the traditional, but still, this thought remains all too popular. Modern developments, however, are effectively combatting this belief among the holdouts.

Fortnite and Casinos - Where We Are

When it comes to the current state of mobile gaming, two of the best illustrations of current quality are those of Fortnite and online casino gaming.

mobile-gaming-fortnite

Say what you will about Fortnite as a game, but there is no denying its popularity. Especially important here is the fact that the game has one of the best mobile conversions of any AAA gaming title. Playing on a sufficiently powerful mobile device gives an experience remarkably similar to play on desktop or consoles, and this is a trend which will only increase as more developers take notice.

Operating alongside this is the enormous and still growing industry of online casino games. These have played on mobile perfectly for years, and now offer surrounding bonuses like the endless promos at Betsson to keep players engaged, as well as attracting new customers to the site. It's not just the games from these casinos which play perfectly, it's the additions like these which make them in many cases superior to their land-based counterparts.

Foldable Screens and Game Streaming - Where We're Going

The next step on this front comes from the approaching potential of folding-screen phones and game streaming. Folding phones come with major advantages over their traditional cousins, including larger screens, and the possibility of increased processing power. While these are currently in their infancy, some of the biggest names like the Samsung Galaxy Fold are poised to make waves before the year is out.

The other side of this, as aided by the approach of 5G networks, is game streaming. Effectively operating as Hulu or Netflix would, except for games, these services like Google Stadia remove almost all traditional hardware requirements from your device. This means any new game, at maximum settings, anywhere with a decent internet connection. Sure, we already have that for online casinos, but imagine being able to add Destiny 2 and Rage 2 to that list.

Getting Prepared

Preparing for this coming change in the landscape can be quite simple, depending on what style of games you like. Lovers of online casinos need only stay the course, as these are integrating much better than most. Players after gaming experiences like FPS or traditional MMO's, however, might need to make some additions.

Key among these is an eventual mobile upgrade (for 5G connectivity), and a mobile-connected gaming controller. We would recommend a gaming controller for mobile already, and a decent one of these can last for years, so choose carefully. Other than that, be sure to keep an eye on these coming changes. The entirety of gaming is about to change, and mobiles are going to play a fundamental part.

At the close of 2019, mobile gaming is creeping along to nearly 50% of the total gaming market share. While the slightly larger figure is made up of console and PC gaming, mobile gaming far surpasses both individually.

This makes sense, as smartphones are held by around 66.53% of the entire global population, according to Bank My Cell. Smartphone manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, and Huawei are in a constant race to bring out the latest technology - all of which helps to benefit mobile gaming - while telecoms giants are rolling out 5G in some areas, which will also allow mobile gaming to continue to grow. Given how well it is doing now, how will the mobile gaming market continue to grow in 2020?

Mobile Accessibility

Another major tech trend for 2020 will be platforms available online being more willing to show how mobile-friendly they are, whether this is through a dedicated mobile gaming app or through sites developing their mobile accessibility.

Either way, showing a presence and easy navigation on mobile is key as the Call of Duty Mobile launch in October 2019 shows. The launch broke records to become the most downloaded game and to show just how integral mobile is to the gaming experience. Indeed, franchises with presences in other aspects of gaming are developing their mobile offerings as well. As casino review site Bonus Finder New Zealand shows, the casino industry is keen to highlight whether or not they have a mobile version of their games on alongside their welcome bonus offer, which represents a key feature in the world of online casino and the progression of accessible forms of gaming.

Greater Gaming Tech

One of the major trends gaming is moving towards is the next stage of interconnectivity, including cloud gaming. Cloud gaming is expected to rise in value from around $97 million in 2019 to $450 million in 2023. Dependable and faster internet connections mean that cloud computing is more feasible for the average gamer. Technology will then allow you to game from any gadget live onto the cloud.

Granted, some are reticent about placing their gaming lives in the hands of the cloud. But this means that the mobile could be a conduit, especially as the amalgamation of 5G technology with cloud computing renders smartphones even smarter and more able for gamers. Mobile gaming has always been dependent on the technology available (remember Nokia's Snake?), so developments that actively attempt to make this better are welcomed by gamers. Developers understand the pull of mobile gaming, so they are working to close the gap between mobile gaming and other sectors of the industry.

Mobile gaming is one of the industries that can categorically be said to be expanding. This comes down to investment in the technology and a consumer need for the end products. Undoubtedly, 2020 will see more gaming systems showing their mobile accessibility as they understand the adapting ways in which we are gaming.

It will also see a rise in technology from cloud computing to the rollout of 5G, which will eliminate from mobile gaming the lag and latency that is often experienced by players. Taking all of this into account, the future looks very bright for mobile gaming.

The mobile gaming market is booming. In the last few years, the video game industry has shifted towards mobile gaming, and with more significant game developers jumping on the bandwagon, it looks like it's only a matter of time before mobile gaming overtakes console and PC as the primary platform for gaming.

Why is mobile gaming so popular?

Mobile gaming is much more affordable than console or PC gaming. This is a major factor in the revenue generated by the mobile games industry, simply because more people own smartphones than consoles or PCs. A lot of mobile games are entirely free to download or are available for a small sum. For the majority of people, it's a much more affordable and convenient way to play.

According to a recent report by market intelligence company Newzoo, the global games market is expected to hit a total revenue of $152.1 billion this year. Mobile gaming remains the largest segment of the global games market in 2019 with $68.5 billion coming from mobile games, accounting for 45% of the worldwide market.

TabTale is an Israeli mobile game developer that has released over 500 original mobile games including the hugely popular Run Sausage Run, which achieved more than 20 million downloads in the first two months after it was released and has logged more than 50 million downloads shortly after. Run Sausage Run is a free to play endless runner with one-touch controls. It's a simple concept, but it's immensely fun and easy to play. The simplicity and accessibility of the majority of mobile games available on the marketplace is a significant factor in the popularity of smartphone gaming.

More companies developing mobile games

As smartphone technology continues to get better every year, more advanced mobile games are coming out all the time. This is a huge draw for online casinos like Betway, who have capitalised on the popularity of mobile gaming. Several online casinos have launched mobile apps and sites where players can choose from several interactive mobile casino games. One of the main reasons for mobile gaming popularity is that it's an easy and fun way to kill time during busy days when you're on a break or a train home. Also, more people own smartphones than own consoles or desktops.

Mobile gaming has become a large industry, and it's no surprise that a lot of traditional game studios are putting so much effort into mobile games. Square Enix brought its popular Final Fantasy series to mobile with the launch of Mobius Final Fantasy as well as Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which has received more than 20 million downloads and is available on iOS and Android. In 2016, mobile gaming revenues surpassed PC and console games for the first time, generating $40.6 billion in global revenue.

Console games on mobile devices

While a lot of hardcore gamers refuse to recognize mobile gaming as ‘real gaming', this attitude is expected to change in the coming years as smartphones continue to advance and the processing power of mobile devices will be capable of running games with console-like graphics. We've already seen this with the launch of popular Battle Royale games like Fornite and PubG on iOS and Android which are capable of cross-platform play with console and PC players.

Cloud-based gaming is set to be a big thing in the future and could potentially replace the need for consoles. Cloud-based gaming allows you to stream games directly to your device, lifting the need for an expensive console or PC as all the heavy processing is done via cloud servers. With 5G right around the corner, it is possible we could see large A-games running on smartphone devices just as smoothly as they would on consoles.

To sum up

The mobile gaming industry continues to grow at an exponential rate and has already overtaken console gaming in revenue. However, it remains to be seen if mobile gaming will ever be capable of delivering the same kind of immersive gaming experience that consoles or PCs can offer. mobile-device-evolution-aaa-gaming

For years, mobile gaming was related to smaller - and, some would say, lesser - experiences. Simple block games were all that early devices could manage, and this led many to underestimate any potential future the platform could have in AAA gaming.

However, recent developments have opened up both Android and iPhone games to a level many would have thought impossible just a few short years ago. So how did we get here, and what's next for mobile gaming?

Bigger and Better Things

In 2005, smartphones made up around 2% of the US mobile market, according to https://www.comscore.com/insights. Ten years later, this proportion had reached 79%, still slowly climbing today.

Having reached many millions of users not just in America but the entire world, it made sense that a wide range of gaming developers and publishers would enter the sphere of smartphone software as well as hardware. As is turned out, this was rarely the case. While many small and new developers saw the opportunities which mobiles represented, most major AAA gaming companies avoided this new avenue near completely.

What eventually drove the modern change in tack is the success of these smaller games, and the adaptations made possible from the iGaming industry constitute a good example. Services like https://www.mobilebet.com/nz made their translations from desktop into mobile gaming opportunities with zero compromises, to show how well it could be done. From slots to live casino games and sports betting, these businesses gave mobile users what they got from their desktop experience, and this is exactly what the iGaming world wanted. Similarly, other niches have also successfully made the transition as well.

Into Traditional Gaming

The failure of early AAA game series on mobile platforms was - arguably - primarily caused by a misunderstanding of what mobile players wanted. A fantastically terrible example of this was the Dungeon Keeper mobile game from EA. Fans of the classic Dungeon Keeper series had wanted a new entry for years, and the hoped that this mobile game could bring the IP back into the limelight.

Instead of an evolution of what made the old games great, fans received a massively gimped entry which relied on enormous waiting times designed to strip money from the player. Even Peter Molyneux, the designer of the original game, spoke out against it, calling the new entry "ridiculous" in a BBC interview found at https://www.bbc.com/news

On the opposite end of the spectrum, for a real uncompromised experience, it was the battle-royale games Fortnite and PUBG which raised the bar. These were near identical to the desktop and console versions and as such were welcomed into the market with open arms.

It took years, but all these elements combined have finally convinced AAA video game developers to step up their game. The likes of Injustice 2 Mobile and Trials Frontier are adopting these lessons more progressively than most. While not exactly the same as their original versions due to hardware limitations, they are at least moving in the right direction.

In the future, we could see what few differences remain in the versions of these games decrease heavily, or vanish completely in some cases. The growing popularity of mobile controllers and the arrival of game streaming services like Google's Stadia mean that fewer concessions need to be taken, and the games themselves keep playing better.

With an increase of power of these devices in the future combined with better infrastructure and more interest from traditional AAA gaming developers, the future - finally - looks bright.

Nowadays, more and more people are gambling on the go, meaning that casinos have realized that they need to adapt to the times or get left behind. A casino that does not work well on mobile devices, be it a smartphone or a table, will not be around for long. We are going to take a look at some of the casinos that provide their customers with a great mobile experience.

The Advantages of Playing on a Mobile Device

Well, the main reason for playing online casinos on a mobile device is because it is very convenient, and you can gamble wherever you happen to be. However, this isn't the only reason. Experienced casino players are more than aware of the fact the profit arises from getting a number of small wins over a period of time. This means that the more often you play, the better your chances will be of hitting a nice winning streak.

Image result for gambling on mobile

Furthermore, playing on your mobile device allows you to pass the time while you are waiting for something. For instance, if you are waiting to see thee doctor or if you are waiting for a bus.

Mobile Casino Games

Casinos that care about their players will ensure that their mobile sites or apps allow their customers to play all of the most popular games while on the go.

So, any online casino that is worth their salt will offer the following games:

  • Blackjack

  • Roulette

  • Baccarat

  • Video Poker

  • Craps

  • Faro

  • Keno

  • A variety of slots

Not All Casinos Are Created Equally

More and more casinos are providing their customers with the opportunity to gamble while on the go but, like with everything in life, not all things are created equally.  Some casinos have fewer games than their competitors, some have smaller jackpots, while some don't payout that fast.

So, how do you sort the wheat from the chaff? Well, you really don't have to as those at https://thecasinocitynz.com have done all of the hard work for you. Take a look here and you will get to know all of the best casinos around. Their team of professionals have taken the time to try out a huge number of casinos so that they can inform others about which ones have the best game selection, which ones offer the best Welcome Bonuses, which ones provide top notch security, and which ones are fair. Any casino that they recommend has made it onto their list by merit.

Mobile Casino Bonuses

Online casinos offer great bonuses to entice people in and to get them to stay, but not many people are aware that there are casinos that have unique bonuses for those who use their site on their mobile devices.

Image result for gambling on mobile bonus

Mobile casino bonuses can come to you in many different forms such as free spins on particular slots or a no deposit bonus. Wagering requirements will differ between mobile casinos, but you should always take advantage of them.

When it comes to withdrawing your money, you will usually find a number of different options when playing using a casino's mobile app. This is great as it allows you to choose the option that best suits you. Let's be honest, there is nothing more annoying than finding out that a casino you were interested in joining doesn't have the payment method that you wanted to use.

What Casinos Offer the Best Mobile Experience?

The following casinos are some of the best around at the moment when it comes to providing a very good mobile experience. They all provide their customers with a wide variety of games, are safe and secure, provide great Welcome Bonuses, have a variety of deposit and withdrawal methods, and have a great customer support team.

  • Wildz

  • Gate777 Casino

  • Spin Palace

  • Jonny Jackpot

Whether you are a seasoned gamer or just starting to dabble in the gamer world, there is little doubt that the right accessories can make a world of difference to your gaming experience. From customizable keyboards and more responsive mice, the market is overflowing with gadgets designed to add a fresh dimension to your game. Here are just a few gadgets to help you level up your gaming experience.

Gaming Mice

There are three things that make gaming mice different to regular mice: comfort, functionality and customization. While most traditional mice come with optical sensors, most modern gaming mice feature laser sensors, as they are more precise when it comes to physical to cursor movement. As you are likely to be using a mouse for prolonged periods of time, it is crucial that it has a good grip that doesn't fatigue your hand. Some other features to look for include customizable weight and center of balance, as well as additional buttons for the execution of programmable micro-commands.

Racing Wheels

Specifically designed for racing game enthusiasts, racing wheels simulate the full driving experience. Most racing wheels feature an analog steering wheel, throttle, break controls, as well as on-wheel buttons. Some more advanced gadgets even come with a clutch, pattern shifters and handbrake controls. For an ultra realistic experience, look for racing wheels with force feedback, rather than just vibration, as these offer a greater sense of game immersion.

Speakers

Audio, including background music and sound effects, can make or break a game. Surround sound speakers capable of picking up even the slightest noise are ideal for creating ambiance and increasing your reaction time. As such, hardcore gamers might wish to invest in a sound system with a subwoofer and two speakers to increase the depth of their gaming experience.

Headphones

Headphones are a great gaming accessory if you live with roommates who are not on the same page with you when it comes to the sounds of mortal combat. And with so many headphone options on the market, it is important to prioritize what is most important to your gaming experience. While wireless headphones that connect to your console via Bluetooth are great when it comes to comfort, they tend to experience some audio latency, or delay between what happens on screen and the time the sound associated with that action reaches your ears. Some other things to consider include audio quality, comfort and durability.

Keyboards

Many gamers swear by their keyboards when it comes to that subtle competitive edge. Many gamers prefer mechanical keyboards, as opposed to membrane ones. The main differences between the two is the feel and sound the keys make to register that they have been pressed. Most regular keyboards use membrane technology, as it allows for a thinner design. While these are great for the office, many gamers like the distinct click sound of a mechanical keyboard-something that a membrane keyboard just doesn't offer. Many gaming keyboards also feature customizable buttons that can be set to execute certain in-game actions and background illumination that divides the keyboard into zones for quick visual reference.

Over the last decade, mobile gaming has become a massive industry. That growth has been driven by powerful smartphones that can deliver console-like gaming quality. Developers have benefitted from the improved standard of mobile gaming and now provide games on mobile devices that are equal to their PC alternatives.

Some of the best gaming smartphones can provide an excellent platform for online casinos. Most of the major casino players now have mobile apps and you can check out the full list of casinos here. In the list below, we have detailed the top 3 gaming smartphones right now.

Note: It's important to know that as smartphone gaming becomes more popular, there are some devices arriving that are designed specifically for gaming.

iPhone 11 Pro Max

Despite those gaming-specific handsets, it's still the iPhone 11 Pro Max that is probably the best gaming smartphone available. Apple's latest flagship device has a massive 6.5-inch screen that gives you lots of room for online gaming. Interestingly, despite the huge display, the phone is relatively compact.

As always, Apple's screen technology is sharp and colorful (but not best in class), giving you rich visuals when gaming. However, it's the A13 Bionic CPU that makes the iPhone 11 Pro Max stand out as a gaming smartphone.

This is the fastest mobile chip currently available. Thanks to Apple's stellar software optimization, the processor allows buttery smooth performance when playing on online titles. This phone is fast, has an excellent screen, and even looks and feels premium.

ASUS ROG 2

The Asus ROG Phone 2 remains something of a curiosity. This is a true gaming phone that was designed to be a leader in smartphone gaming. To prove the point, Asus even designed the device to remind users of a gaming PC. As aggressive as the styling is the ROG Phone 2 lives up to its billing as a gaming device.

Not least because it has a massive 6,000mAh battery that will let you play online games for hours. This is also one of the few smartphones with a 120Hz screen, and it's big too at 6.59-inches.

Asus has really crammed market-leading specs into the ROG Phone 2, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU and a massive 12GB of RAM. The result is a phone that is designed for gaming and loves gaming.

OnePlus 7 Pro

Perhaps the best thing about the OnePlus 7 Pro as a gaming smartphone is it cuts a nice balance between the iPhone and ROG 2. The OnePlus is elegant and flagship like the iPhone, but significantly cheaper. It also has the gaming chops to compete with the ROG Phone 2 thanks to its Snapdragon 855 and up to 12GB of RAM.

OnePlus is also one of the best companies at working with Android. Google's platform is the least boggy on OnePlus devices, allowing for smoother performance. At 6.67-inches, the screen is suitably huge for gaming sessions and delivers QHD technology for optimum visuals. With a 4,000mAh battery onboard and sleek looks, the OnePlus 7 Pro is an all-round winner.
