After spending a few months on testing and code review, Google is rolling out Android to the smartphones. This is an over-the-air software update for Google Pixels devices, as well as smartphones from OnePlus, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Realme. Hopefully, other smartphone manufacturers will be joining the regime soon enough. As expected, Android11 has brought a plenty of new features including message bubbles, redesigned notifications, a new power menu, a new media player widget, screen recording, and much more.
The most exciting feature is the bubble chart just like the one Facebook uses, but they are integrated into Android 11 and can be used for any app by floating on top of whatever you are using. You can also hold the physical button used to power the phone to view your Google Pay cards, and that playback controls have been moved from the notification tray to the Settings panel now.
With Android 11, you need any additional App to record the screen. Google has also implemented some changes for users who take their privacy a little more serious. LIke you can opt-in for one-time access to your mic, camera, or location by the app, so that each time you open the app, it will ask for your permission again.

Oppo is releasing the Android 11 with ColorOS on 14 September, 2030 for Oppo Find X2, X2 Pro, Reno 3, and Reno 3 Pro. Samsung hasn't joined the list yet but as per reports, Samsung Galaxy S20 series would be the first one to get the update.
To get the update, first you need to check if the update is available to you, as a few manufacturers are still working on their version of Android 11 OS and user interface.
Open your phone's settings App.
Go to System > Advanced > System update.
See your Android version and security patch level. Once you are sure of the update availability, tap the update action.
The update will start itself. And will ask for restart, once download is complete. After you restart the device, it may take a few minutes to update your operating system.
WhatsApp updated the design of the Android version of its app to Material Design but it was limited to the APK downloaded from their website, while the Play Store version was still rocking the old Holo UI from the yesteryears.
After a month of releasing the Material Design update on the site, the Play Store version has finally caught up. If you choose to stick to the Play Store version then you should update immediately.
The design only loosely adheres to the Material Design guidelines so MD purists will likely scoff at it but it still looks a hell of a lot better than the previous Holo design, and is just nicer overall.

File Explorers are a very Important Apps, one of the first thing you install when you buy a New Phone or right after a factory reset. Solid Explorer 2.0 is now Stable, featured a slick dual-pane drawer, Material Design UI and an extensive features list.
Solid Explorer 2.0.2 looks completely amazing because it includes Full Material Design UI. It has all of the Lollipop animations we've come to expect, along with a proper full-height navigation menu, floating action button, and colored status bar. The default blue/orange UI can be changed to whatever you like in the settings. You even get animated thumbnails for video. That's cool, but I could see it ending up a little annoying long-term.

Apteligent is a research and analytics firm that has come into fresh attention with their latest reports about the iOS 9.3. If what they are claiming is to be believed, then the iOS 9.3 might just be the most stable version of the iOS that has been released by Apple in the recent past. If reports from the last eight days are taken into account, then crash rate for the iOS 9.3 stands at 2.2% as of now.
The 2.2% crash rate is a significantly improved result when compared to earlier iterations of the Apple iOS. The iOS 8, iOS 9 and even the iOS 9.2 had shown a crash rate that was north of 3.2% after the same eight day timeframe. In fact, as if surpassing all its predecessors wasn't enough, the iOS 9.3 has managed to beat the 2.6% crash rate of Android Marshmallow as well.
The only known issue with the iOS 9.3 yet, was the hiccup that it experienced during the initial roll-out. Apparently, some of the older Apple devices could not make use of the new update procedure and therefore, the roll-out was temporarily stopped in order to sort the problem out. We will find out more about this new iOS in time, but it sure looks like Apple has managed to produce the most stable mobile OS available right now.

While the only Note 9 users who were able to get a piece Google's latest Android pie were so far the beta testers, that time is now over as Samsung just started to roll out a stable Android Pie update to the Galaxy Note 9. As per a report by SamMobile, the update was first seen going live in Germany merely hours ago, but it is quite possible that the same update is also being rolled out to neighboring nations in Europe as well by now.
If you are a beta tester, the file will only be a 95.26MB download as you already have pretty much everything that the update has to offer, except of course, better stability. According to the report, you should see firmware version N960FXXU2CRLT making its way onto your Note 9, provided you are in Germany or it has started rolling out in your region as well. In any case, we expect every region to have the update by the third week of the month.
