HTC promised to update its flagships within 90 days of receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop source code from Google, released November 3rd. That makes the beginning of February the self-imposed deadline for HTC to deliver, but it seems that the flagship One M8 will do one better even.
On a closed London event HTC has confirmed that it will start rolling-out the Lollipop update January 3rd, and several other sources have corroborated the claim, it seems, adding HTC One to the mix, too.
With a brand new, 64-bit Lollipop should come a brand new Material Design-inspired HTC Sense interface. Right, said HTC, and rolled up its sleeves. What you are seeing above, are purported screenshots from a test HTC One M8 running a Lollipop build, with the eventual new HTC Sense interface. All that jazz, together with the improved notification system and other new Lollipop features will be hitting your HTC flagship less than a month from now, if this report holds water.
Earlier this year we have reported that Samsung has officially announced that it's building on a bendable/foldable smartphone for this year. Well, it looks like we are getting really close to see this device on markets, it packs codename "Samsung Project Valley" and it has faced some delays and expected to be ready to launch by January,2016.
Samsung is reportedly testing both Snapdragon 620 and 820 for the phone. It doesn't become clear if that's for two separate versions of the phone or just looking for the most suitable chipset. Either way, it will have 3GB of RAM.
The battery will be non-removable, as the Korean will have to design a custom battery for this device but Samsung Project Valley will allegedly have a microSD slot. The screen will certainly be OLED, there are no bendy LCDs.
Stay tuned for more info regarding Samsung Project Valley and this whole new series of foldable devices coming from Samsung very soon.
Even though earlier leaks had suggested that both the Galaxy C7 Pro and the C5 Pro would be released this December in China, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. According to a leak on Weibo, the two handsets will instead be released next month. No reasoning was specified on the report, as to why the launch has been delayed by a month.
It was only in October that the two smartphones were spotted while being imported to India for R&D purposes. They have since been seen on benchmarks as well and here's what we know (based on rumors) about the two upcoming devices so far.
Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010)
5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel
Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) SoC
4GB RAM
64GB/128GB internal storage with expandable micro-SD card/SIM card hybrid slot (up to 256GB)
16mp/8mp rear and front cameras
3,300mAh battery
Fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C
Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010)
5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel
Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC
4GB/6GB RAM
64GB/128GB internal storage with expandable micro-SD card/SIM card hybrid slot (up to 256GB)
16mp/16mp rear and front cameras
3,500mAh battery
Fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C
Keep in mind that most of these specs are speculated and may not match the final product accurately.

In a brand new rumor, it is being stated that the Galaxy S9 will see release much earlier than its predecessor, the Galaxy S8. The report comes from The Bell and it states that this will happen because Samsung will likely get hold of all the OLED panels it needs by November 2017. Naturally, this will speed up the production process for the company, enabling them to release the Galaxy S9 as early as January 2018.
If you ask me though, that isn't very likely. That is not to say that Samsung can't do that if they wanted to, it's just that it would be a very strange move with virtually no business sense in it whatsoever. The Note 8 will be released to the public next month and if the Galaxy S9 was released in just four months' time after that, it would not be a very strategic release date. We would bet our money on Samsung sticking to its April - May timeline just like this year. Nevertheless, it is good news that Samsung will have everything ready by January because that means the OEM will have even more time to perfect the Galaxy S9 and its rumored modular design.

Samsung doesn't follow any set rules while rolling out the security patches and that seems to be a trend which will continue in 2018 as well. This month, it was the turn of the Galaxy Tab A (2016) to be the first device in the company's arsenal to be updated with the January patch. If you think about it, it's not very often that Samsung rolls out a security patch this early in the month, but nobody's complaining!
As per reports, firmware version T285DDU0AQL3 is being rolled out to the Galaxy Tab A (2016) aka SM-T285. The even more surprising fact is that the patch has begun rolling out in Bangladesh; a region not known for getting the first updates from Samsung. Given that the old tablet is still running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1, it's both surprising and good to see good that Samsung is still keeping it protected against security threats.

Rumors started flying about a possible Galaxy S7 even before the current Samsung smartphone arrived in stores. Most rumors had no reliable basis, but ETNews, a Korean news outlet, has a more promising report. They're reporting a possible release date of January 19th with a premium and sub-premium option.
The two offerings aren't new. Samsung did the same thing with the S6 and S6 Edge. The SM-G930 is the standard version while the SM-G935 includes the curved display.
The report also details the Galaxy S7, codenamed Project Lucky, will feature an ePOP chip to boost efficiency. So far, the specs are up in the air. Processors could vary based on where the S7 is sold. It's possible the flagship device might use something similar to Apple's pressure-sensitive display.
Also rumored are a dual camera arrangement up to 20 MP and USB Type-C support. Pricing isn't worth speculating about. All of this is rumor, but it's a more sound rumor than we've had before.
Microsoft would be updating its IE software to protect against older, malicious plug-in malware. The catch was, the new updates would leave older versions of Internet Explorer without any updates or support any more. New info reveals that Microsoft is going to be pulling the plug on older versions of IE.
This is a move to get users to update to the newer software offered by Microsoft, which explains that IE 11 is a faster, more secure web experience, and that users are halting the progress of developers who need to spend time coding for older web technology that doesn't play nice with modern web tech.
So, When will Microsoft finally decide to pull the plug? January 12th, 2016 and after that, the company will no longer support any versions other than the current IE build: IE 11. Microsoft even provided links to users to different resources that assist with browser migration.
Google released the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update to Nexus 7 (2012 Wi-Fi) users last week, the minor update brought some much needed bug fixes and performance enhancements. However, only the Nexus 7 (2012 Wi-Fi) got the 5.0.2 update so far...
Latest reports suggests that Google will release Android 5.0.2 Factory Images for the rest of the Nexus family (Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 9, Nexus 10... etc) by Early January,2015 and OTA Updates to start rolling-out by the End of the same Month (Jan, 2015).
As per @Ricciolo1, a well-known leakster, Sony is aiming to upgrade its Xperia Z5 series to Android 6.90 Marshmallow in January and for older models the same update is planned shortly after the Z5.
Marshmallow comes with a bunch of improvements, optimizations and features that'd be very useful to any smartphone. Battery life improvements and performance boosts are the most noticeable changes to the software. But this is a rumour; nothing is fixed and there is no solid timeline. So take this with a pinch of salt.
Sony has been really good with getting the older devices updated. The Xperia Z (not the Z1) was upgraded all the way to Lollipop 5.1.1, although it had an older Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. Just like many flagships devices that were launched last year (apart from the One A9), the Sony Xperia Z5 is one of the many still operating on Lollipop.
It would be quite interesting to see what Sony has planned for their version of Marshmallow. We know that Sony has been working on a near-stock Android build for sometime and by using the Marshmallow's Doze feature in conjunction with their own proprietary battery saving software, the battery life in many devices can be enhanced.
Ever since Stagefright came into public limelight in 2015, Samsung had taken up a policy to keep all its top-tier handsets updated with the latest security patches on a monthly basis. This was a step by the Korean smartphone manufacturer to ensure that this chink in Android's armor cannot affect its flagships. So far, Samsung has kept its promise and as a result, all the major smartphones under the company's banner usually get monthly security patches.
2015 is behind us now and the January, 2016 is coming to an end, but Samsung still makes good on its promise as January security patches for the S5, Note4, S6, S6 Active, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Note 5 are now going live OTA. The update is designed to not only thwart present attacks by hackers, but also has elements programmed into the kernel to prevent attacks that have not yet been exposed.
In fact, the security update won't even have a fully disclosed changelog accompanying it as that would make it accessible to hackers, who can then use that data to penetrate the security system of Samsung smartphones. Nonetheless, Samsung has assured its users that this will fix prime susceptibilities that the aforementioned smartphones may have to remote code execution. Although this is good on Samsung's part, it leaves us with a question, what about the other, cheaper Samsung smartphones and their users?
The older flagships from 2014 have just started to receive the January security update from Verizon. This list of the lucky handsets consists of the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and the Galaxy S5. If you own a Galaxy S5 under Sprint, you will get the same January update as well from your carrier, but Sprint has not yet rolled it out for the Note 4 and the Note Edge yet.
The update comes in at roughly 30MB or less for all the three handsets and will address the 67 bugs and security issues just as all Android SMR updates for January do. However, this one will also fix 28 additional problems found only on the Samsung smartphones. You will find the firmware version numbers below, pertaining to the specific smartphone models.
Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) - MMB29M.G900VVRS2DQA1
Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910V) - MMB29M.N910VVRS2CQA1
Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915V) - MMB29M.N915VVRS2CQA1

Google is already rolling-out the Android 5.0 Lollipop for its Nexus line-up devices. Samsung is also working hard on bringing Lollipop to its latest flagships by the end of this year. Here's the latest Update Status for Samsung's Lollipop Update...
International Unlocked Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 devices will get the update first, it will start Rolling-out by the End this December with some major changes to the TouchWiz UI.
Other Variants of the same devices (Dual-SIM, LTE-A.. etc) will get the same update starting from Jan,2015. Carriers versions will be a little bit late due to carrier's testing and approval process which always the reason for delaying updates, so don't expect it very soon.

According to a new report published by SamMobile, the much awaited final Nougat update could see the light of day, starting from January 17. The report was literally "retrieved" after converting the piece of information to Spanish from the original source, which was in Turkish. In order to make things easier for our readers who are not familiar with the language, here's a rough (very crude!) translation of what the text in the image means. Keep in mind that the oddities are a result of two machine translations across three different languages, therefore, some of the grammatical and spelling details might be totally off!
"71 = 1 E Translated from Turkish
.7 Dear Sir,
I've used SM is predicted G935F Go dolo of your device to be released as Android 7.0 updates. Of January of 17 of nougat.
Agreed with the competent authorities We would like to reject your comments
OB1. Mnoranuest, - lelas,
All your questions and problems. Ask us to report again.
Thank you for your interest in Samsung Electronics Turkey Customer Service"
The conclusions to be drawn from this garbled translation are the following facts:
1. The Android Nougat 7.0 update mentioned here, concerns the SM-G935F, which is the European variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge.
2. The rollout may start from January 17, at least in Europe.
3. As per the screenshot, the base Nougat version will be 7.0 and not 7.1.1, or at least not in Europe anyway!
4. Online translations can turn out to be pretty confusing!
In case you are not aware, there have been reports of a very limited number of S7 and S7 Edge smartphones receiving the update already, check it out here for more deatils.

If you own a Galaxy Note 4, we have good news for you. Samsung has now officially started to roll out the January security update for the older Note. Keep in mind that this update is only out for the unlocked variants and as of now, Germany is the first country to receive it. If Samsung follows its usual routes, then Netherlands will receive the security patch next. From there on, Poland and UK could be next in line.
The update will come in with the same 67 patches and fixes which are part of all Android January SMR updates. Additionally, 28 of Samsung's own custom fixes should also make their way onto your Galaxy Note 4, post the updating process. Check the details here on the official changelog. You should automatically be prompted to download and install it once it arrives on your phone, but feel free to check for the update manually from Settings > About device > Software updates, if you wish.

The security patch for January 2017 has started to roll out to the Galaxy J2 Prime and the Galaxy Grand Lite. While it's only natural for the J2 Prime to receive the update as it was only released last November, it is both surprising and good to see that Samsung still remembers the Grand Lite which was released almost three years ago in 2014. However, an upgrade to Lollipop is not officially on the cards for the Grand Lite as it continues to run on the ancient Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.
The firmware version containing the update for the J2 Prime is G532GDXU1AQA4, while the one for the Grand Lite is I9060CUBS0AQA1. If you have an old Samsung smartphone that you want to upgrade but an official upgrade from Samsung is highly unlikely, head over to our firmware section and find the right custom ROM for your particular handset model. The only thing is that we recommend taking a look at our tutorial at least once before attempting to flash any ROM updates.

It was just yesterday that we reported about the Galaxy J2 Prime being updated by Samsung with the latest security patch for 2017 and now we already have news about the Galaxy J5 Prime receiving the same update. The J5 Prime was released near the end of the third quarter of 2016 and even though it is fairly new, chances of the mid-range handset being updated to Nougat isn't that great. However, Samsung has changed its strategy when it comes to delivering updates to its budget smartphones, so let's just hope that we are wrong about this.
You can check manually for the update if you wish, but you should get the prompt automatically when the January security update reaches your smartphone. The firmware version coming with this patch is G570FXXU1AQA2.
If you can't wait for the latest updates which may or may not be officially rolled out by Samsung, or you would simply like to try something else on your device, head over to our firmware section and check out the hundreds of firmware packages we have for you. The January security patch has now officially started to roll out to the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 on Verizon. One may argue that it's already February but it's better late than never. Surprisingly, it was the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge which had received the SMR update a few days earlier than their newer counter parts. The firmware versions have been listed below respectively.
Galaxy S6 - G920VVRS4CQA3
Galaxy S6 Edge - G928VVRS3BQA1
Galaxy Edge+ - G925VVRS4CQA3
Galaxy Note 5 - N920VVRS3BQA1
Wait till you get a notification or search manually for the update from your settings menu, but it may take a few days before it reaches every device in the US, that's being carried by Verizon. The ROM files are not yet available for download, but you can always check out our firmware section for the latest updates that are available anytime you want.
Saikat Kar (tech-enthusiast)
After Verizon, now AT&T is rolling out the first Android security update of the year for the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Note Edge. The file for the Galaxy S5 is a 192MB patch with the firmware version G900AUCU4DQA1. Apart from the usual Android SMR security improvements, it also contains a number of Samsung's own bug fixes, which will improve your Galaxy S5's performance.
The Note Edge also started to receive the January patch on the same day but it is of a much smaller size than the one released for the S5. The 36.5MB file will have the firmware version N915AUCS2DPK3.
Unfortunately, this is probably the last update which the two devices are going to receive. Given that the S5 and the Note 4/Note Edge are both about three years old, that is to be expected. In fact, Samsung has supported its older devices surprisingly well lately, given that most OEMs stop updating their smartphones after two years from the date of release.

Although we are already into the second week of March, not all smartphones are fortunate enough to expect the March SMR package from OEMs and carriers yet. In fact, most older and budget devices have not even received the January security patch. If you own a Galaxy Note 4 or a Galaxy J5 Original though, you are in luck as T-mobile and Samsung respectively have released the January security patch for them.
The unlocked versions and even certain carrier variants of the Note 4 had started to receive the February patch a few days ago in Europe, so it is a bit disappointing to see T-Mobile taking so much time in rolling out even the dated updates in the US. Nevertheless, the 60.54MB package with build number MMB29M.N910TUVS2EQB1 should arrive via OTA on your Note 4 anytime now.
On the Galaxy J5 original, the January update arrives with the build number MMB29M.J500FNXXU1BQA3. This one comes straight from Samsung and not a carrier. Just as with all other January security updates from Samsung, this one will address 67 potential security issues common to all Android devices and 28 of Samsung's own custom fixes for vulnerabilities exclusive to Samsung smartphones.

Google has just started rolling out this year's first security patch to all its Pixel devices and some of its Nexus devices. Apparently, the patch for this month has two levels; namely the January 1 patches and the January 5 patches. The January 1 patch addresses 20 bugs and vulnerabilities, while the January 5 patch adds 18 more to it. There are some fixes here which have been marked as critical, but fortunately, there have been no reports to indicate that these bugs/vulnerabilities have yet been exploited on any Android smartphone.
In case you are wondering when Samsung will be releasing these patches for their smartphones, I don't think that's going to be any time before the third week of January and that's if we are lucky! Nevertheless, the December patch for most devices has already been rolled out by the company, which should be enough for now.

It was just days earlier that the Galaxy S8 and S8+ was up on Wi-Fi Alliance for certification purposes while running Android 8.0 Oreo and today we have another report that indicates an Android Oreo powered stable firmware update is just around the corner for the two devices. In fact, this latest report gives us hope that Samsung could start pushing the update much sooner, that is on or after January 15.
Keep in mind that this speculation was born out of a statement made by Samsung in one of its official notices where it stated the following, "Also please note, Beta Programe will end on Monday, January 15, 2018." While that isn't a confirmation that Samsung will start rolling out the OS upgrade on January 15, it would be surprising if the company doesn't start doing so by the end of the third week of January. Nevertheless, depending what your geographic location is and which career you are on, the update could be delayed further. We will find out soon enough.

It's mid-January now so it's natural that even Samsung's low-end handsets will start receiving this month's security update and we are about to report just that. The Galaxy J1 Mini and the Galaxy J3 (2017) are the latest Samsung smartphones to be updated with the January security update via OTA. However, we must admit that it would be very unfair to state that Samsung plays favorites when it comes to security updates because they really don't. For example, Samsung started rolling out the January patch for the Galaxy Tab A (2016) first and the tablet was certainly not a flagship model! Add that to the fact that even these mid-Jan updates have reached these two devices before the Galaxy S8 or the Note 8 and it suddenly starts to seem like Samsung actually focuses on releasing the monthly updates for their low-mid range handsets first.
The Galaxy J3 (2017) is receiving firmware version J330FXXU3ARA3 in Russia and Slovakia, while the Galaxy J1 Mini is receiving firmware version J105FXXU0ARA2 in Iran, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, UAE and Kenya. Both updates will solve and address at least five bugs in the base Android OS and thirteen in Samsung's own UI software.

The Galaxy J1 Mini and the Galaxy J3 (2017) might have been Samsung's latest handsets to receive the January patch yesterday, but today, the Galaxy S6 Edge has shown up on top, albeit not in the US yet. It's good news for our readers in India though as the OEM has started sending out this month's security update via OTA for the 2015 flagship handset in the country. Good to see one of the flagships get the update as so far, it has only been the low-end and mid-range models that have received it. While some would complain, I feel that it's good to see a company not holding out security updates intentionally to make its users feel that they favor their costlier handsets, even when it comes to security.
If you happen to own a Galaxy S6 Edge in India, Bangladesh or Nepal, you should see firmware version G925IDVS3FRA1 make its way onto your handset very soon. Expect the update to take care of six critical risks and multiple low-mid risk problems in the Android OS powering the handset. It also includes few of Samsung's own patches (13 to be exact) for extra security.

We have almost reached the end of the third week of January, so it's about time that Samsung's 2017 flagship handsets got updated with this month's patch and thankfully, those updates are finally here. Firmware version G9500ZCU2AQL2 and G9550ZCU2AQL2 are rolling out for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ as you read this, but unfortunately, that's happening only in China right now. Nevertheless, it's definitely a sign that the January security updates are heading for the two flagship handsets from 2017 in all other regions soon.
Another of Samsung's high-end handsets is getting the same update and it's good news for our Indian fans because that's where it is rolling out for the recently released Galaxy A8+. The update itself is moderately sized at 220MB and carries the firmware version A730FXXU1ARA6.
Both the patches will carry all the fixes that the January patch from Google is supposed to bring, in addition to fixing 13 bugs in Samsung's own UI. Hurry up and download it as soon as you are prompted to by your device.
Head over to our firmware section to find all the latest available updates for your Samsung smartphones and tablets.

These are the daily firmware updates for the day and if you see your Samsung device on the list, make sure you take a look at this tutorial first, before attempting to flash the firmware. If your device is not on the list, head over to our firmware section and you are sure to find multiple custom ROM updates for your Samsung tablet and smartphone. Enjoy!
We are no longer surprised these days to see Samsung's latest flagship handsets being updated after low-mid range handsets form the company, because that's the route which the OEM had followed lately. However, we do not blame the company for this. As far as I can tell, it's simpler, faster and easier to roll out these security updates for the lower-end handsets and Samsung has decided that they will not hold up critical security updates for any of their devices, just for the sake of updating the costlier sets first. If that is truly the case then it's a noble approach and I can respect that. Keep in mind that this is speculation only and not exactly a fact!
As per the latest report by SamMobile, the update is only rolling out in France at the moment and the size of the file is huge! It's a 707MB update so make sure that you are connected to your Wi-Fi before starting the download. This almost makes you wonder what that patch brings alongside the 13 Samsung exclusive fixes and multiple Android OS related vulnerabilities. Interestingly, the source reports that the changelog doesn't mention anything about that at all, strangely enough! Do keep us updated if you see the January security patch making its way on devices outside France as well.

Old and new Samsung Galaxy Note models are on today's daily firmware updates list, so just pick the right firmware, go through our tutorial and begin updating your smartphone right now. In case you don't have a Note device, don't worry because we have the latest updates for just about every Samsung handset out there at our firmware section.
We reported yesterday that the Note 8 had started receiving this month's security update and now another one of Samsung's Note devices are up on the list for the same. The Galaxy Note 5 is still one of the best Note devices in Samsung's arsenal and firmware version N920CXXS4CRA1 is all set to make it more secure than ever before.
In case you are wondering which regions are getting the update, it's a mouthful! Nevertheless, they happen to be mostly African and Middle-Eastern countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nigeria, etc. The only South Asian country reported to get the January security update for the Galaxy Note 5 (SM-920C) is Pakistan. Wherever you are though, if the update is released in your region, you should be getting a prompt anytime now.
The update will fix six critical Android OS related security issues and multiple other less threatening vulnerabilities in the OS. As always, Samsung has also bundled in some of their own fixes, which happens to be 13 at the moment. Do check out today's daily firmware updates list if you want to manually flash the update without having to wait for the OTA push.

We might be nearing the end of the month, but there's still a week left in it and Samsung has decided to make full use of it by sending out the January security update to as many of its devices as possible before the month ends. The latest news is about the Galaxy A3 (2017) which was reported to have started receiving the update a few hours ago in many of the European nations. Some of the countries confirmed to be receiving the same are Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, Luxembourg and Switzerland. This doesn't mean you can't be receiving the update via OTA in other nations in the European region by any means, so do check your A3 (2017) wherever you are, just to be sure.
If you own the SM-A320FL, the firmware version shipped out to you via OTA should be A320FLXXS2BRAA. As with every other of Samsung's January update, it fixes 13 of the overlying UI issues and multiple Android OS related security threats. Check out our daily list for the day if you don't want to wait and try the firmware out by manually flashing it yourself.

Samsung might have released Android 9 Pie for the Galaxy Note 9 in a number of countries, but China is still not in the list of the lucky nations unfortunately. However, the latest Note from Samsung is receiving the latest Android security patch in the region and it comes in as firmware version N9600ZCS1ARL7. While I am pretty sure that Chinese readers would have been a lot more glad to hear about the OS upgrade than hearing about just the January patch, it is an important security update nonetheless and if it has arrived on your smartphone already, we suggest you get it installed as soon as possible to secure your Galaxy Note 9 against the security threats.
As per Samsung Mobiles China, they will update the Galaxy S9, S9+ and the Galaxy Note 9 with Android 9 Pie, by the end of February. As of now, users in India, UAE, South Korea and Germany have confirmed that they are receiving the OS update in their respective regions, so let's hope that Note 9 users from the rest of the world are also able to join them soon enough.

Honor has officially announced through a Weibo post that the company is releasing the next honor V40 smartphone on January 18 in China. Honor started as a Huawei sub-brand but in November the company decided to sell out the unit and let it be established as an independent manufacturer. The Honor 40 will be the first phone from the company after its separation from Huawei. Beginning from today, the Honor 40 will be available for pre-order through the official website, online E-commerce sites, and physical malls in China. The Honor V40's poster has been released by the company that showcases its design from the front side.
From the poster, it is clear that the phone has curved edges and its top-left corner has a cutout to house the two front-facing cameras. Recent reports suggest that the Honor V40 will feature the same 6.722-inch OLED panel that is available on the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. The device display may support a higher refresh rate up to 120Hz which is also getting into the mainstream these days. The phone will also have an in-screen fingerprint scanner to add an extra layer of security.
The Honor V is expected to be powered by the Dimesnity 100+ chipset with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The phone will be running on a 4,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging. The device is rumored to arrive with support for 45W wireless charging. The device may come with Android 10 operating system based Magic UI version 4.0. It is also rumored that the company might also release another V40 variant alongside the regular Honor V40 but that has to be confirmed yet.
The Honor V40 may feature a 32-megapixel primary camera with a 16-megapixel camera sensor for the front photography option. The rear side of the phone may feature a 64-megapixel, an 8-megapixel, two 2-megapixel camera sensors from Sony.
