Apple Mini iPad coming by End of this year, Price lower than $300

We've heard about the "iPad mini" before but we didn't see it yet. Soem New iPad mini reports arrived but this time from Chinese net portal, NetEase, who is reporting that the iPad Mini supply chain has been finalized with plans to launch 6 million units this year, according to Foxconn, the manufacture of Apple products.

As we have reported in the past, this little brother to the iPad is expected to retail between $249 and $300. Reports say that this device is being positioned as a "counter attack" to Windows 8 tablets that are expected to hit store shelves later this year.

The iPad mini is allegedly have a 7.85-inch screen with a 1024 x 768 resolution. If those reports are accurate, apps that were written for the original iPad and the iPad 2 should seamlessly run on the iPad mini.
