Leak - Redmi Power 9 features the quad-camera setup
Earlier today, Redmi officially announced that it will be launching the Redmi 9 Power in India on December 17. The company has also uploaded a webpage dedicated to the specific smartphone on the company's official website that teases the device power-packed battery, performance, display, camera, and more. While the smartphone is likely to be a slight variant of the earlier released Redmi Note 9 4G - China, tipset Ishan Agarwal shares an exclusive image of the renders. As reported by the website, the shared images show the rear side of the upcoming smartphone Redmi 9 Power. According to the images shown, the phone has a blue rear panel with a rectangular camera layout.
The similar Redmi Note 4G has already launched in China and Pakistan. However, it has an additional camera sensor that chinese version lacks. This is something we leakers have already reported. Consequently, the Redmi 9 Power and other versions will have an additional 2-megapixel macro sensor replacing the AI logo on the chinese variant. The rest of the render shows a 48-megapixel super quad camera instead of a logo. Additionally, the device has a textured rear panel, LED flashlight placement which are exactly like the chinese variant. The device will have a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro and depth sensor. The extra sensor aside, the Redmi 9 Power will mostly be the same as the Note 9 4G in China.
The phone will feature a 6.53-inch LCD FHD+ display. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 SoC, and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. Other specs include an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor, 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging. The phone runs on Android 10 out of the box. Also, the teaser page confirms that the phone will be available in black, green, and orange colors other than the blue color shown in the renders.
