NEW Yahoo's CEO to buy an Apple iPhone to every Employee

Marissa Mayer, Yahoo's New CEO that used to work as an engineer in Google, was always carrying her Apple iPhone with her but she didn't show it more often, currently the executive no longer works for Google.

So, Ms. Mayer would like Yahoo to purchase for each employee an Apple iPhone and certainly Yahoo can afford it as it has $1.91 billion in cash from the last quarter.

Currently, BlackBerry is the smartphone brand of choice for work-related issues at Yahoo, with many employees owning an Apple iPhone or Android handset as a second phone for personal use. Keeping all employees on a single platform might help boost productivity and all for the cost of about $2 million which is pocket change for the company. The benefit to Yahoo could easily more than make up the cost.
