Oppo has released the Oppo Reno 5 Pro in India and it will become the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus in the sub-continent. Oppo has brought some middle-range mobile features except the latest powerful Dimensity 1000 plus chipset. The phone has a 6.5-inch large Full HD super AMOLED display with a 90Hz display refresh rate instead of the trending 120Hz refresh rate making the headlines. The mobile features 2400x1080 pixels at 402ppi. Oppo has integrated some advanced AI-powered video capture features that can get you a far better and sharper video in portrait mode. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can't extend the storage as there isn't any MicroSD slot in the device.

Oppo Reno 5 pro is a successor to the Oppo Reno 4 Pro from 2020, only this time the device has a more powerful processor, a slightly larger battery, and 5G support. The interesting factor here is the price, as you get a few more advanced features and an AI-enabled camera at the same price as its predecessor at Rs. 35,990. The device has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for the rear panel and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 cover for the front display. Overall the device is slim and low weight. The build quality seems expensive and comfortable to hold in with one hand. The device has a 4,350mAh battery with 65W super VOOC 2.0 fast charging technology.

The device runs on ColorOS 11.1 which is based on Android 11 out of the box. It comes with lots of pre-installed apps that can be uninstalled if you want. These apps include weather, music, browser, theme store, etc. The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G features a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera sensor. The front side of the device features a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. You can shot up to 4k videos but with 4k you won't get any image stabilization that is limited to 1080p. For connectivity, it uses 4G LTE support, 5G FDD/TDD, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1.
