Samsung Galaxy A9 Gets Bluetooth Certification, May Launch Soon

Samsung is all set to add a new member to its family of Galaxy A series and it would be known as Galaxy A9. This will be the flagship product of the mid-tier A series.


Till now the new phone has been seen in two benchmarks and there-by revealing its specs. Recently it was spotted in an Indian listing and now it has obtained the first certification.


Galaxy A9 now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG validating that it has been certified. After this certification we can expect the final approvals in the near future. It won't be actually surprising to see Galaxy A9 (Model number SM-A9000) become official by the end of this year.


According to the specs leaked previously, A9 will be featuring a 5.5"/6" 1080p touch screen, 32GB internal memory, 3GB RAM. Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 64-bit octa-core processor along with Adreno 510 GPU for graphics. Moreover Samsung's TouchWiz will also be available on top of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The SoC will have support for Cat.7 LTE, which can propel top speed download of 300Mbps and uploads of maximum 100Mbps.It is expected that the phone will be made up of metal and the rear-facing snapper will be of 13MP.
