Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to have a 5.5" screen and an ISOCELL camera

5 August, 2014 Galaxy Note 4

GNote 4

A report from a Chinese source details the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it contradicts some of the earlier rumors. For one, it states the screen of the new phablet will actually be smaller than that of its predecessor, going back to the 5.5" diagonal of the current Note 2.

The screen resolution will be four times as much though, QHD which is about  2,560 x 1,440 pixels. That makes for 534ppi pixel density. The panel will of course be a Super AMOLED.

The Galaxy Note 4 will be powered by a Snapdragon 805 chipset with 3GB RAM but there's no mention of the rumored Exynos 5 Octa chipset version. The phablet will allegedly launch with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box, and to get Android L as an update later this year.

ISOCELL

The camera is said to be based on a 16MP ISOCELL rather than a 16MP Sony sensor as previous rumors claimed. It should record 2160p video at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps. The front-facing camera has been rumored as having QHD resolution (3.68MP).
