Samsung Galaxy S III FW update adds brightness to Notifications bar

Samsung GALAXY S III international version has received a new over-the-air software update that should make it even easier for owners to modify the handset's brightness setting of their Huge 4.8" screen. Specifically, the 73MB update is being pushed out to devices as we speak, and from the looks of it all, it brings forth a brightness widget to the notification tray.

It's unknown if Samsung deliberately added this new feature due to requests, but either way, we can't argue that it's now super convenient to modify the display's brightness. Rather than rummaging through the appropriate settings under the Android options menu, handset owners will now have access to manually setting the brightness directly from the notification tray - or instead, they can toggle the automatic setting.
