Vivo is now available in European countries for the first time

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has not hit the European smartphone markets for the first time. They are targeting consumers in the premium and budget-category of the smartphone industry there. The company is one of a few Chinese manufacturers who went international after achieving the considerable success in their homeland over the past decade. China is a huge market due to its population and is considered the second biggest hub of the smartphone manufacturers. Vivo isn't the biggest in China yet but doing good in its own capacity.

The only chinese company that has made it to European countries so far is Huawei, but now Vivo hopes to make its debut with fully-featured and affordable handsets. Denny Deng, the head of Vivo's European business said, "We are truly excited to showcase our first ever line-up of smartphones for the European market. To ensure we had a clear understanding of the market, we spoke to 9000 consumers across Europe, to understand how these devices are integrated into their daily life.

The company has launched Vivo X51 5G as the first flagship smartphone for the consumers who prefer to buy a high-end handset. The phone comes with full support to next generation networks without an additional cost. The main selling points are imaging capabilities, supported by a Gimbal camera system that compensates for natural shaking and distorted movies or images. Meanwhile the Y20, Y70, and Y11 are mid-range devices that aim to deliver as much capability as possible for the price. Vivo has also planned to offer Android and ditch the highly customized user interface to attract western consumers. The smartphone will support Google Assistant rather than Vivo's own alternative.
