Verizon will be launching the eagerly awaited Motorola DROID RAZR HD and the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD on October 18th. The former will come with 16GB of native storage and can be purchased in black or white for $199.99 with a signed two-year contract. The 32GB Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD will be available in Henry Ford's favorite color (black) and will run you $299.99 on 2-years contract.

Outside of that tremendous battery life on the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD, which allows you 32 hours of talk time, and the slightly larger girth on that model, the two phones share the same specs.

Last Tuesday, Motorola presented the Motorola RAZR i, the first smartphone to offer an Intel Atom 2GHz processor on-board with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Motorola has just officially released the Motorola RAZR i powered by Intel Medfield Chipset. The processor powering the Motorola RAZR i is a single-core 2.0GHz Intel Atom built on the 32nm manufacturing process. It supports hyper-threading too, so its single-core architecture that act as a Dual-core.

At the front of the Motorola Razr i sits a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display of qHD resolution with Gorilla Glass for protection. The 2.0 GHz Intel Atom chip is so fast, that the Motorola RAZR i starts the 8 megapixel camera under 1 second and can take 10 pictures in less than one second. It has a 2,00mAh battery.

The Kevlar-coated RAZR i will be launched in the UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico in the beginning of October. It should cost about £340/€420 at launch.

Motorola RAZR handsets on Canadian carrier Rogers are finally receiving the ICS update. Originally Motorola Canada had slated this upgrade to occur in late August.

Several users are reporting that they were pushed the ICS 4.0.4 update OTA and that it can also be pulled via the menus. If you have a RAZR on Rogers, let us know in the comments below if you were able to grab this update.
