Droid RAZR HD

Despite the rumors, the upcoming Verizon DROID RAZR HD won't feature extended battery capacity like the RAZR MAXX (which have a 3300mAh), but it will pack a 2530mAh battery running Android 4.0.4 ICS which is the latest build of the Ice Cream Sandwich, The Jelly Bean 4.1 update for the Droid RAZR HD is rumored to be in Early 2013.

Either way, the RAZR HD is quite the looker, with a full Kevlar back panel and 4.6" HD display. Inside, you'll find a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset, sporting a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and while we don't know how much internal storage the RAZR HD will have, it is set to feature a microSD card slot.

MOTOROLA RAZR MAXX HD

According to the latest leaks, Motorola is getting ready to release 2 New droid Smartphone this year, specifically in October. The two device are "DROID RAZR HD" and "DROID RAZR MAXX HD".

This is big news for Motorola and Verizon because the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX with its 3300mAh battery has been a huge hit with some reports saying that the unit outsold the Apple iPhone 4S for Big Red during the second quarter.

According to the FCC filing for the Motorola DROID RAZR HD, the device will have a 2530mAh battery which would seem to be large enough not to require a "MAXX" variant of the phone. Either the speculation is all wrong and there won't be a Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD or else there will be a variant with a larger capacity battery greater than 3300mAh, may be 4000mAh.

Todays is a lucky day for RAZR Owners, The International Motorola RAZR XT910 Update to ICS 4.0.3 will begin rolling-out today and if you have this handset you should stop reading and check if the update is available for download on your phone.

Motorola Razr UPDATING!

Apparently, the hold-up was due to T-Mobile refused to sign-off on the update because they wanted to customize the ROM on the phone to their liking, something that Google did not allow as Motorola is now owned by Google. Eventually T-Mobile relented and signed the update so now everyone can get their hands on it.

Electrify 2 - Defy XT

The Electrify 2 is the successor to last year's Electrify. it has a 4.3-inch qHD display compared to the 4.5-inch HD display on the Atrix HD. It also get a slower 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Other features include an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, 1GB RAM, 8GB built-in memory, 8.4mm thickness, Keblar back, splash resistant body, Android 4.0 and 1,780mAh battery.

The Motorola Electrify 2 is now on sale for $199 with a $100 mail-in rebate. At that price you'd have to wonder why you would buy a phone that has less features than the Atrix HD instead of the Atrix HD itself, which sells for the same price on AT&T.

Defy XT has a 3.7-inch "high resolution" display, 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, FWVGA (854 x 480) video recording, 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM and the same rugged body that the Defy series is known for. Unfortunately, this phone will be launching with Android 2.3, Gingerbread, which is simply unacceptable today.
