PayPal has finally released an official app for the Windows Phone platform. The app looks great overall, and packs a solid feature set. Of course, the app doesn't have NFC support right now, but that's because NFC-enabled WP devices are coming with Windows Phone 8.

Still the app will allow you to request money, send money, check your balances, and best of all it does have the PayPal features. That means that even without NFC, you can find merchants nearby that accept PayPal and use the app to pay for your purchase in store. The Modern UI (aka Metro UI) looks great too.

Nokia LUMIA users are waiting for the Windows 7.8 update, as you may know that all current WP7 device won't be getting the Windows Phone 8 but Windows phone 7.8 instead. Nokia tweeted about the Update bacj in June and said that "It's coming in the Next Few Weeks"... Here we are Microsoft is preparing to push the update to all current WP7 users.

Microsoft has also posted a dedicated page, detailing the new features that will come to existing 7.5 users with the WP 7.8 update.

We got some News for all Windows Phone users in the middle-east who are still waiting for an Arabic-language support in Windows Phone. According to Tom Farrell, Nokia's general manager of Lower Gulf, Windows Phone 8 is the Solution!

According to Tom, Windows Phone 8 will get the Arabic support Update in the second Half of 2012 just a little time after Microsoft Officially reveal the Windows Phone 8 OS and devices that is expected to launch.

"We will launch and start selling this quarter in Europe, because Windows Phone has the language support for European countries. However, it doesn't support Arabic until second half of next year. We won't say it's a launch in this region because it needs Arabic," - Tom Farrel.

Nokia is preparing its Windows Phone 8 device for the Windows 8 launch event in 26,October. A leaked photo of the Nokia WP8 front panel appeared online showing a black panel with a large 4.3-inches Display in the Middle.

The leaked panel shows a round edges sleek design with the New Windows 8 logo on the bottom of the screen, according to the information of the photo this device will have a 768 x 1280 resolution with a pixel density of 347ppi.

Nokia is also said to be preparing a Windows 8 tablet too. But all the info available for now is just rumors and leaks and it may not turn out to be true after all.

The popular developer brought quite a few of its titles to the Microsoft OS, but according to its COO Peter Moore, EA is going to be even more committed once Windows Phone 8 is out.
