Verizon is preparing a New Droid smartphone from HTC, It's the HTC DROID DNA with a 1080p display which is just the same display as the HTC Butterfly J for Japan. We also got a rendered photo from evleakes showing the device red & black design.
The latest leaked Specs Indicate that the DROID DNA pack a 5 inch SuperLCD 3 screen with 1080p resolution which will produce a good pixel density. The processor of choice should be the Quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 which is what all of the other high-end devices are wearing to school these days.
That means the phone should have LTE connectivity and quad-core speed. We expect to see 2GB of RAM with 16GB of native storage inside, and a 2500mAH battery. We are unsure if an 8MP or 12MP camera will be on the back. Android 4.1.1 should be pre-installed with Sense 4+ UI and Beats Audio too.
HTC has sent out invitations for an event in New York City next Tuesday, November 13th. The Taiwanese manufacturer will show off its latest collaboration with Verizon Wireless.
Given the recent string of leaks, we can all but confirm that the device scheduled to break cover is the HTC Verizon DROID DNA. The upcoming smartphone is bound to pack an eye-catching 5" Super LCD3 display with 1080p resolution and pixel density of 440ppi. Quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro Chip, 16GB of built-in memory, microSD card, and Sense-d Android 4.1 Jelly Bean are also part of the device's projected specs.
