We heard rumors about Google Nexus 8 slate with a 8.9-inch screen coming this year, but there is no photos or leaks of the device, yet. However, Today we may have the first one.

That's interesting, as Google's minty-fresh I/O conference webpage has an intriguing header image with an unidentified slate in it. Is this the long-rumored Google Nexus 8 ? We have to note that some rumors did indicate a June announcement, not to mention that the Mountain View-based company has, in the past, used the I/O event as a platform to launch new products. Indeed, we may very well be looking at a still veiled-in-secrecy new Nexus tablet.

Google I/O 2014 event is scheduled for June 25-26th, we may see Android 4.5 along with Android wear and a new Nexus. Stay tuned!

Google has just added some new cases for its Nexus 5 on the Play Store. It's called the "Snap Case", its snappy-made from a harder material and unlike the previous Bumper Case or the QuickCover does not wrap completely around the device.

The new Snap Case is lighter and thinner than the other two cases and is designed to offer protection without adding too much to the size and weight of the phone. There are already several variations of this design available for the Nexus 5 from third party manufacturers.

As for the colors, the Snap Case is Available in black, white, grey, aqua and clear for $29.99 only, which is a bit steep as you can get a similar case from other manufacturers for half the price.

A New concept of the Google Nexus 6 appeared with HTC Style, it has a very thin bezels, a 5.7-inch Super LCD4 display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, BoomSound speakers, 3GB of RAM, and Qualcomm's latest 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor. A 12MP camera with dual LED flash can be seen on the back, while the front-facing camera should be a 5MP one.

Beside the photos there is a Demo video shows the concept fro all angles. As for the real Google Nexus 6, it's expected to be released by the end of this year from either HTC or LG.

A Rumor about the upcoming Google Nexus device that will be called, Nexus 6, to pack a 64-bit MediaTek processor chip. Which confirm that the next Android version will fully support 64-bit Architecture CPU. However, Nexus 6 is expected to be a budget device with a $300 price tag at max.

Taiwan's Economic Daily News reports that the specific MediaTek processor used could be either the Quad-core MT6732 64-bit chip clocked at 1.5GHz, OR the Octa-core MT6752 SoC running at a frequency of 2.0GHz. Both would be powerful chips with Mali-T760 GPUs, and LTE capable, but the real news is that both chips would be 64-bit and use the new ARMv8 instruction set which is the real reason 64-bit mobile chips offer big performance boosts.

Google Nexus 6 is excepted this Fall along with a New Android version 4.5 and it will probably be manufactured by LG too. Stay tuned for more info to come.

We already heard a Rumor about the upcoming HTC Nexus 8 tablet that Google is working on last Month. Now, According to a report in DigiTimes, confirms that Google will partner with HTC on a Nexus tablet with 8" display, DigiTimes source were from the upstream supply chain.

We heard a lot about that HTC will replace Asus as the manufacturer of the next Pure Google tablet. Purportedly, Google tried to team up with the Taiwanese manufacturer on the first generation Nexus 7. HTC however, declined as it aggressively pushed forward its "One Series" Smartphones at that time.

The yet to be announced tablet will reportedly break cover at some point in Q3 this year. This rules out Google I/O, as the conference is scheduled to take place in June which falls into Q2.

The Report also points that Google will not be overly aggressive in pushing its third-generation compact slate. The previous models were apparently sufficient to boost Android's tablet market share. Let's wait and see.
