New images Reveal the OnePlus 12's Design

A while back, we got word of what kind of specs we might see in OnePlus' next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12. As such, new leaks bearing the device's alleged design have popped up online, giving us a better idea of what to expect once the OnePlus 12 launches.

The images were published by OnLeaks and tech site Smartprix, and shows a rather familiar-looking hardware design. Based on the renders, it looks like the OnePlus 12 will retain the general look of this year's OnePlus 11, all the way down to the camera module, which comes with a very similar design, especially with the off-center placement and the circular island.

As for hardware, recent leaks predict that the phone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, alongside a curved 2K display manufactured by Samsung, a 50MP Sony IMX9 main camera, a 50MP wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The phone is also rumored to pack a 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 150W charging speeds.

As with any smartphone leak however, nothing is official unless confirmed by OnePlus, or unless we get more leaks as the days go by. In any case, OnePlus' next flagship phone is shaping up to be an exciting one, and OnePlus fans have no doubt something to look forward to.

OnePlus Nord 3 confirmed to pack powerful camera, stunning display

OnePlus plans to launch its next mid-range devices on July 5, but the company has already said it will be revealing most of the OnePlus Nord 3 and Nord CE 3 5G specs as early as June 30, so that's probably going to happen later today.

Until then, OnePlus has just decided to take the wraps off some of the OnePlus Nord 3's specs to raise the hype or just to tease us a bit. All in all, it looks like many of the previous rumors pointing to the powerful camera and display for the OnePlus Nord 3 were pretty accurate.

OnePlus has just confirmed that its Nord 3 mid-range smartphone will boast a stunning 6.74-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming. This is a flat display, as OnePlus removed the plastic screen frame.

Another important piece of hardware confirmed to be inside the OnePlus Nord 3 is the 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization). Equally important is the fact that OnePlus has decided to bring back the classic Alert Slider, which is positioned on the right side of the phone (see picture above).

The official OnePlus website also mentions that the OnePlus Nord 3 will be available in at least two colors: Tempest Gray and Misty Green.

The second mid-range device to be launched on July 5, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G received some extra attention too. Confirming the previous reports, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G processor and a large 6.72-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

That's all the information about the Nord CE 3 5G that OnePlus confirmed until now, but expect the full reveal to happen on July 1, at least according to the company's official website.

As of late, it was recommended that some smartphone creators were planning to launch phones with 24GB of RAM, and presently we know no less than one of the models that could be essential for that launch.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro could launch with an crazy measure of RAM

This is as per a post by Computerized Talk Station on Weibo (post has since been brought down) where they guarantee that the handset being referred to could be the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. Clearly the phone will launch with a 24GB RAM setup, while 16GB could be the base model.

Other reputed specs of the phone incorporate the utilization of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, alongside a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED show, a 5,000mAh battery, and backing for 100W charging. It will likewise include 1TB of UFS 3.1 capacity. Concerning the cameras, it has been recommended that it could pack a 64MP OmniVision sensor that will be joined by a 8MP Sony sensor with a super wide focal point, and a 2MP GalaxyCore full scale focal point.

There is presently no word on when the phone will be launched, however seeing as Qualcomm themselves haven't declared the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chipset, we question it will be at any point in the near future. Believe it with some hesitancy until further notice, however we'll watch out for additional subtleties when they become accessible.

These leaked OnePlus Fold renders look gorgeous

OnePlus is expected to officially break into the foldable phone market later this year with the OnePlus Fold. Not much is known about the handset yet, but thanks to the folks at Smartprix, they have collaborated with @OnLeaks and published a series of renders of the upcoming phone.

One thing that immediately stands out in terms of design is that OnePlus has followed in Google's footsteps with the Pixel Fold, where they appear to have adopted an external display whose aspect ratio looks more akin to your traditional smartphone. This is versus Samsung whose Galaxy Z Fold series tends to have a narrower external display.

Apart from that, the renders also show off the back of the phone where it looks like the handset will be packing a triple set of cameras with Hasselblad's branding on them. We're not sure about the specs of the cameras yet, but hopefully they won't disappoint. The renders also show the flash unit placed at the corner of the phone which looks a bit awkward.

Apart from that, assuming the renders are accurate, the OnePlus Fold looks like your typical foldable handset. Hopefully OnePlus will come up with some interesting and useful software features that will allow it to take full advantage of the foldable display.

OnePlus Fold could be launched in August

Earlier this year, OnePlus teased that they would be launching their own foldable phone. A follow-up interview with the company's COO later revealed that the handset would be launching in the second half of the year, but seeing as there are six months in the second half of 2023, the question is, when?

According to a report from Pricebaba who got tipped off by tipster Yogesh Brar, we might have a more specific timeframe for the phone's launch. The report claims that the handset might be announced in August, or to be more specific, the first half of August, and that OnePlus will be hosting an event in New York where the handset will be revealed.

The report goes on to claim that the OnePlus Fold is expected to have a global launch so pretty much everywhere OnePlus phones are sold should be able to get their hands on the foldable.

As for its specs, the OnePlus Fold will be adopting a phone-tablet hybrid design. It will feature an 8-inch inner foldable display with a QHD+ resolution, and a 6.5-inch OLED external display with an FHD+ resolution. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and will come with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and will pack a 4,800mAh battery.

There's no word on price, but based on the price of other similar foldables like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Google Pixel Fold, we don't expect it to come cheap.
