Xiaomi is new to smartphone paradigm but its making progress really fast and has definitely damaged the sales of major smartphones worldwide. Redmi is Xiaomi's budget smartphone but the company is ready to bring the flagship smartphone as well. The premium Redmi will be called as Redmi K20. The company has launched multiple teasers already ahead of its official launch in China on May 28th. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset, clearly indicating that it will be a part of Xiaomi's premium smartphone series. K20 has codename Raphael. Redmi hasn't said anything about the memory size of the device but we can assume that it is perhaps around 6GB and 8GB variants, if not higher.

Weilbing has recently shown its latest render, and based on which, we can say that the Redmi K20 will feature a triple camera on its rear side. In other Weibo post, it was suggested that the primary sensor among these will be a Sony IMX586 with 48MP resolution. This is the same sensor on the Mi 9, the Redmi Note 7 Pro and also the OnePlus 7 duo. Rumors suggest that one of these will be a wide-angle module while the other a telephoto setup. This is because the Mi9 features a similar specification including a 12MP telephoto sensor with 2X zoom and a 16MP super-wide-angle sensor with 117 degree field of view.

The device is going to use the pop-up cameras - which hinted at the use of a pop-up selfie camera on the smartphone. Weibing noted in a Weibo post that the slider can open and close for up to 300,000 times without any issue. Along with this, the device will have an in-display seventh generation fingerprint scanner from Synaptics which is going to improve the unlock success rate, compared to previous generation scanners. The device will be powered by 4000mAh battery. It will be available to India perhaps till next month.

vivo v17 pro

The pop-up camera has evolved and there is a dual-lens pop-up camera now to elevate the quality of the pictures taken by a smartphone. Vivo is one of the brands putting a great emphasis on the pictures taken by selfie cameras. The main sell-out pint for the new Vivo V17 Pro is a motorized dual-lens selfie camera and it looks great too. The phone falls into a midrange category which means it won't be costing you a lot to have this astonishing looking phone.

The phone as an unusual 20:9 aspect ratio with the 6.44-inch display on the front. This device is much smaller than the OnePlus 7T. The back of the phone is made from glass and may need a protector over the top. There is a quad-camera setup placed vertically at the top of the body. It uses a USB type-c charging connection. The phone is about 7 ounces and a bit heavier for 2019 devices.

The phone comes in a beautiful color crystal sky, which is similar to Huawei P30 Pro's breathing crystal color. It has a high-gloss finish which may attract more female users. Other colors include crystal black and midnight ocean. The pop-up camera allows Vivo to get rid of the notch, leaving the AMOLED screen with only thin borders around it. The selfie camera has a single 32-megapixel wide-angle lens, plus an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It takes good pictures, although the beauty mode is quite aggressive.

There are four lenses at the rear side- - a 48-megapixel primary lens, a second 8-megapixel ultrawide, a 13-megapixel telephoto, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. Along with wide-angle and bokeh mode, there is a macro mode, a slow-motion video mode, and a night mode to try. The edit features are also good, with changes to focus on the bokeh mode, different filers, and plenty more.

Moto recently teased its next smartphone that the company is launching on December 3. The phone has a pop-up camera with 64MP sensor. According to the teaser and rumors, this will be Moto one hyper. The launch event will be held in Brazil and so far, there is no information on its release schedule throughout the world. The Motorola One range has followed the norm of naming the phone after a distinct camera feature, as we have seen with the One Vision and One Action. However, with the One Hyper, we don't have any information about why it's called "Hyper".

Since September, the rumors about the upcoming high-end smartphone started to pour in and we have seen some real-like images of the concept design as well. But now we have some real images of Motorola's smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera and a notch-less display. The images are not being released from the official sources and maybe that's why the images are not clear but these are good enough to give a hint about the pop-up camera. Evan Blass, a reliable smartphone leaker Evan Blass tweeted out some images of notch-less Moto phone a few weeks ago.

The new phone features a powerful Snapdragon 675 processor, has 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 6.39-inch IPS screen (FHD+). But the device apparently houses a 64MP primary camera, which means Moto will be joining other smartphone manufacturers offering high-resolution sensors. The device is also said to have an 8MP depth sensor on the back side and a 32MP camera for the selfie camera. According to the specification, it seems like a mid-range smartphone rather than the premium phone we were expecting. However, it will interesting to see how Moto breaks in the industry saturated with high-end smartphones with premium features. Motorola One Hyper could have a 4,000 mAh battery with support for fast-charging over USB Type-C.
