iPhone 6s Plus sits at the top on AnTuTu’s latest benchmark scores
AnTuTu just released its latest score sheets and we took a look at it to find out why the iPhone is considered to be the "King" of smartphones by a lot of experts. As the new version of the AnTuTu benchmark 6.0 app now allows for cross-platform score comparisons with iOS, the iPhone 6s Plus is sitting comfortably on top with a whopping 132620 points! From the look of things, it might be a safe bet to declare that the A9 chip powering the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has by far, the most powerful mobile GPU yet.
The next most dominant device on the list is the Kirin 950 driven Huawei Mate 8 with 92746 points, but when compared to the number one score on this list, the difference just feels astounding. The Meizu Pro 5 and the Galaxy S6 series, both share the same SoC but the Exynos 7420 in the Meizu inches ahead because of a lower resolution display (1080p on the Meizu Pro 5 vs. 1440p on the S6 series).
After the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the older iPhone 6 Plus once again beats the likes of Oneplus 2, LeTV Le1 Pro, Xiaomi Note Pro and the popular Nexus 6p. Although architecture of iOS and Android are different, the results are convincing enough for fans to crown Apple's iPhone 6s Plus as the most powerful smartphone of 2015.
