If you don't know what CyanogenMod is, CyanogenMod is actually not just a mod, but it's a ROM, but basically it's a stock android look, in this case it's 4.2 Jelly Bean, but it has a lot more customizable things, like the lock screen, the notification bar, lots of downloadable themes, and much more.


CyanogenMOD 10.1 has reached its first "M-Series" milestone builds for various devices.  These builds are intended to be mostly stable and ready for everyday use, based on Jelly Bean MR1. More devices are being worked on, and are available as nightly builds for the time being.

Today CyanogenMod users have access to the newest M build of CyanogenMod 10.1. The new 10.1-M2 builds are based on the newest Android 4.2.2 code, bringing all of features of Jelly Bean plus a whole slew of custom features that we've come to expect from CyanogenMod releases.


Around 20 devices are available to flash these devices on, including the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S III, Nexus 4 and the Nexus 10. If you're interested in flashing the newest CyanogenMod 10.1-M2 builds on your device, check the list of compatible devices below.

As per usual, the code has been tagged in our Github as ‘cm-10.1-M2'. Any device currently receiving 10.1 nightlies, but not listed above, will continue to get worked on until they are ready. This includes the Kindle Fire, Galaxy R and Motorola Devices added yesterday.
