If you are a proud owner of a Samsung GALAXY S2, YouMobile have some Good News for you. Samsung has officially confirmed that its previous flagship device GALAXY S II I9100 will get its 2nd major update after ICS, The Next update will bring Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean along with a New TouchWiz UI to the S2 this year.
The list of new features on the JB update includes a redesigned keyboard and an improved functionality for NFC connections, smoother UI, Google Now integration and expandable Notifications.
Samsung confirmed that the Jelly Bean update is coming during the Q4,2012 for the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2, Our sources indicates the the S2 JB update will Start rolling-out by the End of November, which means Next month.
Samsung released the Official list of the its US smartphones that is confirmed to receive the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Update. The Updates is currently Rolling-out to the International versions.
First off, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Sprint and Verizon have already been updated to Jelly Bean, as well as Sprint's Nexus S 4G. What is interesting is that the Samsung Galaxy S III update is only listed as "Coming Soon" for Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular.
