redmi k30

Since the technology has revolutionized the communication industry, we have witness some amazing innovations in mobile phones. The phones are bigger, faster, and smarter than ever before. But one area that most of the mobile phone manufacturers completely ignored is the charging ability. Thanks to companies like Oppo and Reno, we are getting fast charging now. Till now, the Oppo Reno Ace holds the title of the fastest charging smartphone with 65W charging ability. The phone can be fully charged from zero in just 30 minutes. Now, Redmi is here to compete with the Oppo Reno Ace with its 66W charging speed.

Redmi 5G phone with the model number M2001J1E/C has appeared on China's 3C telecommunications website. According to the specifications listed on the website, the phone will pack 66W charging speed that is higher than any other existing smartphone's charging ability. Xiamoi is expected to launch Redmi K30 series phone with 5G network support next month. This would be another milestone towards the fast charging improvements this year.

Earlier this year, Xiamoi claimed to test 100W charging that is good enough to fully charge a 4000mAh battery in just 17 minutes. Oppo, later on, claimed that it is working on a 120W charging solution that could fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in 13 minutes. Sounds exciting. Right? But these are just claims and we have no evidence that it is going to work. As fast charging can cause the phone to over-heat and so far, no one has achieved more than 65W fast charging ability.

Xiamoi

After Samsung and Huawei's foldable smartphones, and other smartphone manufacturers trying to hide the notch, Chinese giant Xiaomi took a completely impossible path altogether. The company unveiled the Mi Mix alpha, a smartphone with a front display that fully wraps around the back. The device is made of a single piece of sapphire glass with ceramics and aerospace-grade titanium allow. So what does the extra display get you? Nothing new in fact. The back display lights up and takes over the front screen's duty when you flip the phone.

Xiamoi says that the Mix alpha is a concept phone, so it is going to have a limited number of sets. The smartphone will go on sale in China in December for $2,800. While the size of the display is unknown, it boasts a 180.6% screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by a powerful and greatest snapdragon 855+, coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB UFS storage. It also supports 5G network support. The device features a 4050mAh battery and supports a 40W wired fast-charging, the company claimed. The Mi Mix alphas is running android Pie-based MIUI 11 software.

The front side of the display doesn't have any camera. Instead, there is a three-camera system at the rear side: a 108MP primary sensor is developed in collaboration with Samsung, a 20MP wide-angle camera sensor and a 12MP telephoto sensor. At the event, Xiaomi also launched the Mi 9 Pro, the follow up the MI 9 handset that the company unveiled earlier this year. The Mi 9 Pro which is almost priced at $250. It is one of the low-cost devices to support the latest 5G network. It also supports 40W fast charging.

Xiamoi

Are you the one who look for the specification of the camera when buying a new smartphone? There are a huge percentage of smartphones buyers who think about camera more than any other feature when making a purchase decision of a new smartphone and Xiaomi seems to know this. Xiamoi is developing four smartphones with 108MP camera sensor. Surprisingly, the camera sensor is developed by the Samsung but the Korean tech giant hasn't use this sensor itself for any of its smartphone. In fact, Samsung kept selling its next-generation technology to other smartphone brands instead of using itself. Recently, Xiamoi has revealed that its Mi brand will get the 108MP sensor for its rear camera.

XDA developers have used the reverse-engineering decompiliation tools only to discover that the MIUI Gallery app will now support viewing full resolution images from the 108MP sensor. However, as noted by XDA, the support to view full resolution image is only being added to four smartphones for the time being. These phones are codenamed as - tucana, draco, umi, and cmi. These will be first phones to feature such a high resolution camera as their primary camera.

The strange thing about a high-resolution camera phones is its inability to zoom into the picture when view in the gallery app. This changed with the 48MP camera sensors got into the paly and with it came the ability to zoom in the gallery app. Going by that logic, the cameras with 108MP resolution will also have 108MP full resolution view to support the high-resolution zoom in capability. In addition, XDA Developer said that they belive that Mi Mix 4 isn't among these four phones in development phase. Though earlier the phone was rumored to had a 108MP camera sensor with Snapdragon 855+. The four cameras will be added to Xiamoi's Mi range or Redmi lineup.
