Most of the Samsung Galaxy A5 variants has already got their Lollipop update. Now, the official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is rolling-out to Samsung Galaxy A5 (SM-A500G) which is considered the first to this variant. The update is currently Available Over-the-air and via KIES in Brazil and Mexico.

The Galaxy A5 Lollipop update OTA package is about 920 MB in size and packs Android build 5.0.2 Lollipop, Updated TouchWiz UI with Material Design, Improved battery live, New lockscreen, New Notification panel, Updated system Apps, Better Network connection along with various bug fixes, performance enhancements and stability improvements.
