Many Samsung users are waiting for their Lollipop OTA Update, few users already updated. Samsung Galaxy S4 (SM-I950x) and Galaxy S5 (SM-G900x) users who already received the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is reporting that they are facing bugs and issues with the firmware.
Today, Samsung Norway told its complaining users that the Lollipop update for both Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 is currently "On-Hold" in order to fix the reported bugs. The company also said that they are working full time to fix those bugs and start rolling-out a new one that includes all the fixes that will be available to all users very soon.
The reported bugs includes random freezes, Contacts app force close by itself, default Phone app "com.android.phone" crashes, alarm problems and also some performance issues. Here's what Samsung Norway said:
"We are aware of the issues some users are experiencing after installing
the update Android 5.0 Lollipop and now has stopped the current
version. We work full time with a new update that contains solutions
to the problems that have been reported to us, including a new solution for
silent mode. We hope to send out the update shortly, and will
keep you updated on Facebook." - Samsung Norway
