Using the 20nm manufacturing process, these LPDDR4 chips will be reportedly 50% faster than the fastest LPDDR3 memory chips on the market and consuming 40% less power (1.1 volts) too. Also confirmed is the fact that the Note 5 will use Samsung's own Exynos 7422 chipset, the company's first to be a true single-chip solution. This means one package will incorporate the octa-core CPU, the GPU, the RAM, the storage, as well as the Shannon 333 LTE modem.
