White HTC butterfly is all set to be launched in China tomorrow, the timing for the launch is said to be 04 08. Although, HTC butterfly has been in Chinese market since a month back but it was in a different color range i.e. black and red. But, it seems that white color is more preferred by the Chinese nation. That is why; already 400,000 pre-orders from different users have been booked by the brand.
The price of the phone is relatively high in comparison to what a typical Chinese phone costs i.e. $772 or 4,799 Yuan. But, there is a wide difference in a typical Chinese phone and this new HTC butterfly. This really justifies the high pricing of this new phone from the HTC.
Furthermore, it is recognized that HTC butterfly is somewhat similar to Droid DNA in terms of looks and features. But, there are few differences among them. HTC butterfly has a waterproof screen, but, has no LTE or wireless charging built-in. Although, HTC is trying to develop a new technology for HTC butterfly which will remotely make phone calls, send text messages, capture photos and play music. This all would be done through a Bluetooth remote which is named as HTC mini.
Above screenshot is HTC CEO Peter Chou using the white M7 to take a few shots of the crowd. Rumored by PocketNow, that it's the HTC M7 we're looking at, it also said that white option is pretty much confirmed.
HTC's got an event scheduled for just over two weeks from now, on February 19, where we're expecting to get the full skinny on the M7, which should now include news of this white option. Be sure to check in with us then for our coverage of the New York event.
According to various leaks, HTC M7 is the next flagship is set to feature a quad-core Qualcomm processor (predictably), a 4.7-inch 1920 x 1080 (full HD) display, 32GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The above photo may be our first look at the LG Nexus 4 in white, but that depends on how much you can believe the word of an anonymous tipster from PhoneArena. The silver trimming and white exterior suggests this is the first we're seeing of the long-rumored release from LG. We can't make any guarantees for the validity of this image, but the clean lines and similar layout suggests this could be the true successor the Nexus line.
All of the photo and its 13MP of glory can be reviewed over this link, and we've acquired a detailed view of the lens and the flash below. LG already has white offerings for the Optimus G, which the N4 was originally based on and designed around.

A petition that seeks to make the administration to review the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and legalize cellphone unlocking has breached the target number of signatures of 100,000 on February 21, 2013. It can be recalled that a consumer from San Francisco started disseminating the petition online on January 24th to seek the help of the White House in reversing the decision to limit the use of a locked device to a particular carrier.
The petitioner argues that the changes to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act decrease the value of the devices when resold, as well as the choices for consumers to select their desired devices and networks. Since the petition has earned its 100,000th signature, the WH will not be compelled to review it, explain the reason for it and make possible recommendations, if only necessary. It may or may not result to legalization of unlocking or total scrapping of the petition.
