Galaxy S III 20 Million

Samsung has announced that the Samsung GALAXY S III smartphone has crossed the 20 Million sales mark worldwide. This feat is made more impressive by the fact that the phone managed to do so in 100 days or around three months.

20 Million in 100 Days!

In comparison, Samsung's previous popular smartphone, the Galaxy S II, managed to cross the same milestone in around 9 months, taking three times as long as the Galaxy S III.

The update should start rolling any day now, considering how fresh this last one is.

It is slated to be an OTA update, so you don't have to use the Kies software on your computer, and we can't wait to see what goodies Samsung has in store for TouchWiz on Jelly Bean, whether it will be the same experience as on the Note II, or something different.

S3 NFC

Samsung GALAXY S III was launched earlier this year with NFC-support, Many of you didn't use this technology or used it only for transferring files & photos via S Beam. Today, Orange UK announced that the Samsung Galaxy S III will become the first Android smartphone to support their Quick Tap payment service.

Quick Tap lets you pay up to £20 by tapping the phone on the payment terminal (optionally, you can set the phone to ask for PIN first). These payments have full fraud guarantee.

Starting from September 5th, Orange will be offering Quick Tap-enabled Galaxy S III phones. Better still, if you get one before October 5th, your account will be loaded with £50.

The red front, back, and home button shining uniquely in the palm of your hand. What you've got here is a sort of pattern extremely similar to what we've seen with the blue version of the device, just Garnet Red in this case.

This device has a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich onboard, and AT&T 4G LTE connectivity in select locations across the USA. I'll leave you with the photos to Enjoy this Masterpiece.

galaxy s3 extended battery pack

If you are playing a lot of Games on our Samsung Galaxy S3, you sure not satisfied with the battery life as its not enough for you, Well, the accessories company "Mophie" has the solution for you. Mophie made an extended battery pack for the iPhone4/4s and now its making the same Extended Battery pack for the Samsung GALAXY S3 users. you also will get the battery pack the same color as your S3 too (Black, White, Blue, Red).

The accessory, which you can see pictured below, is estimated to extend the battery life of a Samsung Galaxy S III by over 100% (that's mean 2x the battery life), all the while protecting the back and sides of the smartphone from cracks and scratches.

Unsurprisingly, those who demand all that additional juice will have to live with the extra bulk that the accessory will add. We aren't given any exact dimensions, but given how big Samsung's current flagship smartphone already is, potential owners better brace themselves for something of gargantuan proportions.

SGIII 4g LTE Quad-core

Samsung stated that it will be trying to integrate 4G LTE in its own line of system chips, and has seemingly delivered in a Quad-core Samsung Galaxy S III LTE that will sport the coveted 4G radio, destined for German carriers.

Now we actually doubt that Samsung is having the radio integrated, like in Qualcomm's Snapdragonchipsets, as it is too soon after the CEOs battlecry for Samsung to develop true SoCs, baseband radio integration and all, but this Exynos/LTE combo is still good to see outside the company's home turf, as it is also rumored to appear like that for Rogers in Canada.

The Galaxy S III 4G LTE Quad-Core version pricing will be around €740 which is about $940 SIM-free.

Galaxy S3 JB

The International version of the device is expected to receive the update next week and a leak of that update has been around for nearly 2 weeks.

For the Samsung Galaxy S III SGH-T999 T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III, should be pleased to hear about a version of Android 4.1.1 for their device which was discovered by XDA Developer's forum.

T-mobile Galaxy S3

The leaked update for the T-Mobile branded Samsung seems to be essentially the same as the leaked update for the GT-i9300. While the rollout of Android 4.1.1 for the International Samsung Galaxy S III seems to be set for August 29th, could the appearance of the leak for the SGH-T999 point to a similar time period for the update in the States?

NOTE: YouMobile recommend you to wait for the Official Jelly Bean OTA Next Week, Or Flash this leaked Update at your Own Risk.

Samsung Camera

Samsung is working on a Galaxy S III-based point-and-shoot camera. The convergence device called Samsung Galaxy S camera features the trademark 4.8" SuperAMOLED screen and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Yes, it does sound a bit too good to be true, but let's dream for a moment and here what our tipster has to say about this camera he claims to have seen with his own eye two weeks ago.

The Samsung Galaxy S camera is described as a Galaxy S III glued to the back of a point-and-shoot camera, with no physical buttons on the back. It is reportedly 1.5 to 2 times thicker than an S III, but that seems too little given the rumored 10x zoom. The camera will feature a 16MP sensor of unkown size, a pop-out Xenon flash and a curved right side to help with the ergonomics.
