Samsung has just announced its second Unpacked event for this year. The newly announced event is due to August,29 and it will start at 7PM local time (GMT+1).

Our reports confirm that Samsung will Announce the Next Galaxy Note aka Galaxy Note II, and unconfirmed reports suggest that samsung may also reveal a new Galaxy Tab, May be the Galaxy Tab 11.8" with Retina display.

Beside that Samsung will show us the upgraded version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 slate.

While the name of the Next GALAXY smartphone is often assumed to be "Galaxy S III", we are yet to hear the same being confirmed by Samsung.

Samsung has released its official app on the Google Play Store for its Mobile Unpacked 2012 event happening on May,3. In the description for this app they have used the term "galaxy s3". This is the first time we have seen Samsung use that name.
