Reports about the Samsung Galaxy S6 PLUS has been leaked online. The device will be a high-end "PLUS" version of the current Galaxy S6 flagship.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 PLUS Model number is (SM-G928) and will be 151mm tall, 73mm wide with 5.5" QHD SuperAMOLED display. The device is also reported be powered by the hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 mobile chipset (10-cores unit). The rest of its rumored specs include 32GB of built-in storage,16MP main camera, and 3,000 mAh battery.
Overall, the Galaxy S6 Plus looks set to square off directly against the next large-screen iPhone, which will also debut in September. Stay Tuned for more details about the device going forward.
Samsung's latest flagship devices, Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are doing well in the market. According to a new report from Deutsche Bank, Samsung is expecting to ship around 45 million units of its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge flagship smartphones during this year 2015.
That's broadly in-line with various earlier reports a CitiBank analyst had in April predicted that the number might exceed 50 million, an estimate that was recently corroborated by research firm Counterpoint. A Samsung executive also recently revealed that the devices are hitting the South Korean company's internal targets.
Samsung detailed the UK availability of the long-awaited exclusive color options of the Galaxy S6 lineup. Both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are currently available worldwide in White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum.
But both were promised an exclusive paintjob since the official announcement Blue Topaz for the Galaxy S6 and Green Emerald for the S6 edge. Samsung officially launched the special flavored editions on May 18, but those come in limited stock and availability.
Today Samsung detailed the UK release of those two exclusive colors both will be available for purchase on July 1. UK users will be able to get the Green Emerald Galaxy S6 edge from all major retailers and carriers, but the Blue Topaz Galaxy S6 will be available exclusively through Samsung Experience Stores and Carphone Warehouse.
Last week, Samsung and AT&T announced the Galaxy S6 Active with IP68 and Mil-STD-810G-certified protection. Today, AT&T has the Galaxy S6 Active available for purchase in gray, camo blue and, camo white colour options.
The handset will set you back $200 on a regular 2-year contract and $695 without any agreement. It is also available for $23.17 per month on AT&T Next 24 plan, $28.96 a month on Next 18, and $34.75 a month on Next 12.
If you aren't already aware, the Galaxy S6 Active is a rugged version of the company's Galaxy S6 flagship. It comes with IP68 and Mil-STD-810G-certified protection, which means that you can submerge it to up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. The device is completely dust-proof and packs in a 3,500 mAh battery.
