Samsung Galaxy Note 4 owners in Hungary (SM-N910F) have started getting the update for Android 6.0. This comes as surprise, as previously it was rumoured that Note 4 would receive update in February 2016, after the Galaxy Note5, S6 edge+, S6, and S6 edge.

The new features that are included in the update include battery-enhancing Doze, and contextual search provider Google Now On Tap, which detects the content of the screen and gives search results accordingly.

The update also creates a new Air Command menu, and a feature to capture notes that uses the S Pen to create notes in white on a black background. As per requirement you can recall the notes. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has already been available for many devices in some of the European countries like Hungary (for example: LG G4). The latest distribution data unveiled by Google shows that only .3% of active Android handsets are supporting Android 6.0. It is difficult to agree, but there is only .1 percentage point increment in comparison to the .2% share of Android phones powered by Android 2.2 Froyo. It is expected that Marshmallow share will gain better share in the market once the carriers in the US complete their testing with this OS.

YouMobile was the first to publish a list of the Samsung devices that will officially receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update which is scheduled to start by Early Q1,2016. This Major update will pack many security improvements to Android platform and TouchWiz as well.

Today, a screenshot leaked online claims that it shows a very early build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F) in Hungary. We have already checked all Samsung KIES servers (both normal and test-Mode) but didn't find any 6.0 build firmware released Over-the-air (OTA).

This might be a very early Marshmallow build firmware or just a fake screenshot of a cooked ROM, we are still investigating this. However, we can confirm that Samsung has NO Official Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware build ready for release yet.

The Samsung-made Exynos chipset turned out to be the best SoC that came out this year. It is indeed better than the competitors. Earlier it was used primarily in Samsung's high-end devices and Meizu's Pro 5 was also powered by this. Although, Blackberry's very first Android smartphone - the Priv featured Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 808 chipset, Blackberry is now testing its devices with the Exynos keeping in mind the Android phones to be released in the future.

We're saying this because a BlackBerry handset running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and featuring Samsung's Exynos 7420 SoC has been spotted in the GFXBench database. It is using the Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz. But, take this news with a pinch of salt, as the credibility of the source is has not been confirmed till now. It is quite easy to edit the build.prop file to make it look a Blackberry device.

There is a possibility that Blackberry might be actually testing its devices with Exynos, which also powers the S6. The handset has a 5.1-inch QHD touch screen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 16 MP camera in the back and a 5 MP selfie camera.
