Android L official launch date is very close, it's been on Beta for more than 3 months now. You might be wondering when Samsung will update it's latest flagship devices for this year like the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge... well, the latest reports indicates that Samsung will bring the Android L Update to its flagships devices by the end of this year, probably in late December this year.
Samsung, HTC, LG and many Other companies already building their firmwares on the current Android L developer preview image, by the time Google release the official Android L image, these companies will be almost ready to release an OTA update based on the latest Android L image build.
Android L update for Samsung devices will bring New TouchWiz UI tweaks, performance enhancements, security improvements and new features too. Samsung Galaxy S5 will probably get a Note4-like UI with Android L update, which takes multi-tasking to a whole New level.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 on Verizon is receiving an over-the-air update today bumping Android to version 4.4.4 KitKat. The update size is 346MB and fixes an issue with Bluetooth audio. Hopefully, there won't be the occasional loss of audio when using certain Bluetooth headsets anymore.
Additionally, there are some security patches part of Android 4.4.4. There aren't any changes regarding the user interface of any other features of the phone.
HTC has already updated its latest flagship HTC One M8 to the Android 4.4.3 with a lot of bug fixes. Samsung may follow HTC with its Android 4.4.3 update for its Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 devices, that have been finalized and are due out before the end of this month. However, looks like there will be a slight delay.
According to latest reports, the Android 4.4.3 update for the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 may get delayed to Early August. Samsung already included the Update on the S5 support page (photo Below) with instruction to how to update your phone/install the update.
Android 4.4.3 packs some bug fixes and many important security fixes. So just hang-on and wait, the update is coming on Early August.
The Octa-core Samsung G900H Galaxy S5 is getting the same 200MB update that its Snapdragon-based twin received yesterday. The update has a rather short change log - "improved performance" but no details on how and what got faster. The update will also increase stability.
One of our readers is reporting that the update is already rolling out in India and it weighs in at 201.37 MB. We've also seen reports for Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Kazakhstan.
