The LG Optimus G Pro, announced by NTT Docomo of Japan and spotted by Engadget, has a large 5-inch screen with full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080)That gives the display a pixel density of 440 pixels per inch, the same as the HTC Droid DNA. 


The phone is slightly thicker than the non-pro version with only 0.4 inch thin, it will likely to accommodate the larger battery, which holds 3,000 mAh of juice. The processor is a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core design, and it runs Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean." It will be equipped to connect with NTT Docomo's LTE network, and Wi-Fi tethering supports up to eight devices.

According to SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 going to have a 5.68-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.8 GHz Samsung Exynos 5420 ‘octa-core' processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 16 / 32 / 64 GB of internal storage space, microSD card support, and a 3,200 mAh battery. It will apparently run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean from day one, but we already knew that.


As you can see, we're yet to have a clear picture of what the Galaxy Note 3 will have to offer, even though we see some of the same specs repeated over and over in new reports.  The Galaxy Note 3 will be officially unveiled on September 4, during a special media event in Berlin, Germany.

Competition is getting heavier in South Korean, Pantech, country's third largest handset maker, has officially announced it's first full HD smartphone, code name Vega No. 6, which was rumored about a week ago.


The Pantech Vega No. 6 is one of the largest smartphones, with display measures 5.9 inches.  In addition, the handset comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, Pantech's own UI called Flux UX, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 3,140 mAh battery, very big battery life.


Patech said its retail price will be 849,000 KRW, which's aournd $776 dollars. However, we aren't sure if it's going to be released outside of South Korea yet.


Before summer time this year, Samsung should unveil at least two Full HD devices: the Samsung Galaxy S4, and the Samsung Galaxy Note III.


Competition is always good for consumers, so we will keep a closer eye on this device.
