The reports say that multiple carrier sources have confirmed to them the new iPhone will indeed be using micro-SIMs. Apple and the carriers are apparently at an advanced level of testing, with Apple supplying micro-SIM adapters to the carriers so they can test how nano-SIMs will work on their networks.

Less layers, More Touch-sensitivity

We've heard that info numerous times before, mainly concerning Apple's usual touch panel suppliers Wintek and TPK Holding, which got sidestepped this time for the iPhone 5 orders, as the new technology integrates the touch panel directly into the screen, and they become redundant.

The current suppliers for the 6th generation iPhone's screen are apparently Sharp, LG and Japan Display Co., which is a government-sponsored joint venture between Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi.

What we are looking at here appears to be the most complete leak of the new iPhone (iPhone 5) to date. The images come from KitGuru, who indicated that the photos are of a test assembly unit and were taken somewhere in "the Far East". Of note is that the images show that the new iPhone body may be somewhat longer than the current version to support the larger screen.

The Photos also show off the new connector that has been expected on this year's iPhone, and it clearly will not work with current iPhone peripherals without some sort of adapter.

The images don't show the usual tell-tale signs of forgery, so we see little reason to doubt them in that sense. Of course we don't know at what stage of development this test assembly was made, so it may not reflect the final product exactly.
