In May 2019, at Google I/O conference, Google announced a shush mode within the digital wellbeing app but unfortunately, this feature never made it. At that time, the company described a few of its main features, such as wind down, an updated do not disturb mode, the dashboard, etc. However, one of the features Google discussed never made it to the Digital wellbeing beta version. This feature called ‘shush' appears to be simply inactive.

The main purpose of shush is to give the user an easy way to put his phone into Do not disturb mode, simply by placing the device on a flat surface face-down. When the user lifts the phone, the feature gets disable itself, which is pretty useful and doesn't require much to do on the user's end. Moto has already done something like this with Moto actions. The feature is called flip to Shhh.. instead of shush and is hidden inside the latest beta version of digital wellbeing. It was initially launched on the Pixel 3 series devices as an exclusive feature, but now this is coming to the Pixel 2 and 2XL devices as well.

You can use this feature by installing the latest beta version of the digital wellbeing app from the play store program. Once you have downloaded and installed the app, enabling the feature is simple. Open settings. Tap on digital wellbeing. Scroll down to Flip to Shhh... which is an option under Reduce interruptions. Toggle Flip to Shhh on. Open settings and select sound. Tap on Do not disturb. Scroll down to schedule and select turn on Automatically. Flip to Shh is a pretty useful feature if you don't want to be disturb on phone while working. You can intentionally put your pixel device face down on a table at dinner or when working that will enable the Shush mode for you.

For months, tech blogs and even Google itself have leaked so many pictures and videos about the Pixel 4 that it became the most-leaked phone ever. In the process, Google tried to hype the consumer's excitement ahead of its launch alongside other new hardware products at an event being conducted in New York on Tuesday. But the company has already fallen for another tap itself: what else can Google say if no one knows it already?

Here is what we already know about Pixel four. The Pixel is expected to have two rear cameras for one. There are already many smartphones in the market but still, one short of the iPhone 11 has 3 rear-camera. The cameras will be featured in the top-left side of the phone into a square-like fixture, closely resemble to Apple's new smartphone design.

The phone is expected to come in standard and XL sizes, with a soli radar chip to enable more secure facial recognition and air gestures, which has already shown in the YouTube video. According to the leaks, Pixel 4 is available in the orange color that was featured in a giant billboard placed in Times Square promoting the launch event. At the time, when companies are launching foldable devices, Google appears to stick to the simple design. To stay competitive in the market, Google has to deliver an experience that is better than other phones. The company has already less than 1% of the global share of the market.

The pixel is largely a niche product, only available in the US, exclusively on Verizon. Customers can buy an unlocked version from Google or another retail store. The Pixel 3 cost around $799 whereas the new iPhone 11 starts at $699. The pixel will run on Google's latest Android operating system. Beyond the Pixel, Google is expected to show off a 13.3-inch touchscreen laptop called the Pixelbook Go, a Google Watch and an update to its Nest Mini speaker system. Pixel Buds, its answer to Apple's AirPods, will also likely get a refresh, with longer-lasting battery life and a mute feature that automatically turns on when someone else is talking.

Google has heavily leaked information about its next smartphone - Pixel 4. Although Google couldn't make it to the position of the top seller of the smartphone, it still owns the significant appreciation of the consumers who like to buy a phone based on the camera specification. Google smartphone also features some custom specs that you won't see on other devices like a bespoke launcher or custom image processor. The pixel 4 is set to repeat this trend with, among the usual software tweaks there is hand gesture control in the phone.

Google itself leaked the rear camera of the device a few months ago, ahead of its launch confirming the leaks around its design. Since then it has also revealed a detail about its hardware specification embedded beneath its relatively think top bezel and it has appeared in the wild in both photos and videos. According to the leaks, it has relatively think top bezel which is something lots of smartphone manufacturers are moving away from.

The render of the device was surfed by the reliably connected Evan Blass. The render also confirms that there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear side. This may increase the possibility of having facial recognition technology for security. However, there is also a possibility of having an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is something we can't assume from the design leaks. While this phone isn't the most attractive in the market but it is certainly better than its predecessor Pixel 3XL. Other leaks suggest that it has a 90Hz display and anticipated still camera.

Pixel 4 is the next smartphone by Google coming out this year. To save everything from curiosity, Google took the initiative and talks about some specs even before the time. A new video posted by Google shows off some of the new features packed in the Pixel 4: Motion control and face unlock.

According to Google, the new motion sensor is based on soli, a radar-based fine motion detection technology. It will detect waves of your hand and translate these into software. Soli can detect very fine movements, including fingers pinched together to mimic a watch-winding motion. It has already got approval from the FCC in January. Pixel 4 is the first device to have anything like soli and Google says, that it will available in selected countries.

Google has also add face unlock. This feature isn't new to Android smartphones but Google is doing it in a different way with the Pixel 4 than it was handled before in the past. Once again, Soli is part of the implementation, turning on the face unlock sensor in the device as it detects your hand reaching to pick up the phone. This mean by the time you take the device near to your face, the device is already ready to be use it, which fasten the whole unlock process.

Face unlock will be supported by other third party Android apps, as well, and all of the face unlock is going to happen at the phone which is similar to how iPhone handles the face unlock ID. This will make Pixel 4 as secure as iPhone when it comes to paying with your smartphone. Based on the leak, we can expect that Google may come up with some update on the device before its launch.

The Google Pixel 4 is not a secret anymore. We know about Pixel 4 design and specs because Google has already talked about it. That\'s not because the Google Pixel 4 release date is coming in few weeks - we still expect the Pixel 4 is going to launch somewhere around in October - but its seems Google doesn\'t want months of insane rumors about its next phone design or specs. It does, however, take away some of the excitement about the launch and eradicates the \'will it, won\'t it\' debate on the overly square camera bump on the back side which is first of its type. Since its launch in 2016, the Pixel line has gained more popularity and visibility among the smartphone users. It offers plenty of premium features with great AI functionality. They smartphone has done immensely great to win the adoration of the tech community.

The competition in the smartphone is getting intense with every day passing, and Google in 2019 really needs to keep its work up to the standards to meet the expectoration for this next iteration. For years now, Google has opted to release its Pixel lineup in the latter half of the year, after the usual roller coaster of smartphone releases from the first half of the year has died down. More specifically, we expect a Google Pixel 4 launch date sometime in early October based on past form, with it likely that Google will take the opportunity to launch a few other hardware options at the same time, such as the long-rumored Pixel Watch.

Following the announcement, it\'s likely that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL release date will be in early November or in late October, if we keep the past dates align. With the extra features now included and the general emphasis on a premium fit and finish, the Pixel 4 - or at least the XL model - could be the first of the line to break the $1,000 price tag.vWe\'ll probably also see multiple different storage capacities offered at different prices. More information will arrive closer to the launch, so watch this space.
