Paramount Pictures has launched an official, verified YouTube channel - called The Paramount Vault - where you can watch full length films for free [if you're based in the US].

So if you don't have a netflix account and find yourself bored and nothing to do, maybe head over to the The Paramount Vault Youtube Channel and watch some free movies.


Understandably, the channel isn't exactly chock full of recent hottest movies, those you will still have to pay to rent those online, but there are plenty of hidden gems in the collection. Spend a few minutes scrolling through one of the genre playlists and you might stumble upon something that looks interesting.

TV Plus, the world's first virtual TV channel was launched by Samsung Electronics in its homeland South Korea. Just in a month after its launch, the TV channel has become quite a sensation in the domestic market. This service is meant for Korean consumers who will be using an application on smart television to Video on Demand (VOD) for the first time. They will be able to browse through videos just like flipping channels in regular TV.


According to data released by Samsung on 11th November, 20% of the Samsung smart TV users have the TV plus service from the date of its launch in October. Most promising part is that the reuse rate exceeds 80%. This service enables users to browse through 33 virtual channels via a remote control without downloading any external application or going through any kind of sign up process.


The TV users can connect their smart TV via Wifi or network cable to access the service. Once connected they will be able to watch wide range of content ranging from entertainment, education to drama at no cost at all.


In the recent times Samsung has shown interest in adding various multimedia content like Galaxy view, Gear VR and gaming services to its digital services.

Just when people were starting to think that the "Made for Samsung" program which Samsung had announced at the CES in January was scrapped, the Korean company just declared their first endeavor in that line. As it turns out, Samsung's partner in this particular initiative is The Weather Channel and together, they have launched the first application within the Made for Samsung program. The application is exclusively available for the Note 5, the S6 Edge+ and the S7 Edge.


The app offers brand new features, among which, one in particular sounds quite interesting. Apparently, the Smart Weather alarm clock will wake up the user before point, if it decides that the weather conditions might delay the user from being ready in time. Other features of the application include Floating Shortcuts, in-app live wallpapers that are customizable and Edge Alerts for updating the user with the latest changes in weather conditions on the Edge panel.


The application is only available via Galaxy Apps and in case you have one of the three supported smartphones, check it out by searching for "Weather Channel" within the store. If however, you cannot see the application or cannot download it in spite of having the right handset; chances are that it is probably not yet available in your locale.
