Techconfigurations has just released a video on YouTube that shows the upcoming HTC made Google devices in detail. Keep in mind though, this is just a 3D video render that is primarily based on the leaked images that we have seen so far, combined with intelligent artistic creativity from the compiler. If you are not yet familiar with the rumoured specifications of the two upcoming devices, take a look below.

Both of them will sport the same 12-mp rear camera, 8-mp front camera, 4GB of RAM, bottom facing speakers, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth version 4.2 and fingerprint scanner on the back. However, the higher end Nexus Marlin may have 128GB of internal memory, as opposed to the 32GB internal memory of the SailFish. Marlin will also sport a bigger battery (3,450mAh) than the 2,770mAh battery rumoured to be inside the SailFish. Both the devices will feature Quad High Definition displays with an AMOLED panel but the Nexus marlin will have a larger 5.5-inch display compared to the 5-inch display of the SailFish. Even though it has been rumoured that the Nexus devices will both sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, the model number of the SoC is still a mystery.

After a series of leaked images and renders, we already have a pretty good idea about how the two upcoming Nexus phones from HTC will look like, but price tags had remained undisclosed till now. Someone in HTC has allegedly leaked pricing details of the Nexus Marlin and Sailfish, but as you probably can guess already, it's still a rumor and nothing is for certain yet.

According to the source, the two smartphones from Google in 2016 will be more expensive than last year's models with a price tag of $599 for the Nexus Marlin and $449 for the Nexus Sailfish. These are of course, the price tags for the basic 32GB models and there will likely also be costlier models with higher internal storage capacities. The Marlin will cost $100 more than last year's Nexus 6P ($499), if the rumor turns out to be true. We will soon find out more next month as the two HTC-Google Nexus smartphones are probably going to debut in September with Android 7 Nougat right out of the box.

Courtesy of Steve Hemmerstoffer from NowhereElse, we now have an image that shows us certain details of the upcoming HTC Nexus Sailfish on an AnTuTu listing. As is often the case, the leaked listing was found on the Chinese social networking site Weibo.

We can see from the image here that the Sailfish will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a Full HD display, 8mp/13mp - front/rear cameras and 32GB of internal storage. Nexus smartphones always get the latest OS to boot, so it's no real surprise to see that it's running on Android 7 Nougat Manufacturer Release version 1.

As one can see from the spec sheet here, it's quite identical to the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 7 in terms of power, but then again, most flagships these days seem to be sporting the near-identical internals anyway. Some of them like the OnePlus 3 have even surpassed them by adding 6GB of RAM into the fray. However, we will wait to see if the HTC Nexus Marlin has something different to offer, although reports indicate that it won't really be that much different from the Sailfish, apart from a larger display.

In case, you are interested in benchmark scores, check out what TechDroider posted earlier. The Nexus Sailfish seems to have scored 2158 (single-core) and 5355 (multi-core) in the Geekbench benchmarking test. We will find out more in October as it's rumoured to be released on the 4th of that month.
