Motorola announced updated Moto X (2014) smartphone. The newcomer features beefed up specs and improved finish compared to its predecessors, the Moto X XT1052.

As the company's brand new flagship, the New Moto X (2014) features a decidedly more upmarket appearance thanks to an aluminum frame and available back covers finished in Horween leather. The already familiar wooden covers are available too this time around they are made from FSC certified trees.

Naturally, just like in the case of its predecessor, users will be able to customize the new Moto X though Moto Maker in the United States. The interface of the shopping service has been greatly improved for an even better experience.

Moto X (2014) Specifications

After 3 years of Beta Testing, The Google Glass Explorer Edition is Now available for purchase in the Play store in the United States by anyone (no need for Glass project invitation).

Pricing of the futuristic gadget hasn't changed. You will still need to part with $1,500 in order to get your hands on it, thus meaning that it is hardly going to be a mass-market item.

Of course, the familiar array of additional accessories is also available. It includes shades, prescription frames, and in-ear headphones.

We are in a world that doesn't respect Patents. Looks like a New Court-War is Coming, this time it's between Samsung and Nvidia, Nvidia has initiated patent lawsuit actions against Samsung and Qualcomm. The issue lies in the GPUs used in Samsung's product, specifically the Qualcomm Adreno, ARM Mali and Imagination PowerVR graphics architectures.

Nvidia has filed its patent infrigement complaints with both the US International Trade Commisssion (ITC) and the US District Court in Delaware. The company wants the ITC to block shipments of the Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets utilizing the aforementioned GPU architectures. Additionally, the GPU maker also insists the Delaware court to award it damages for the patent infringement. Since 1993, Nvidia has spent over $9 billion in research and development and states that its IP strategy is to earn a return for its investment by patent licensing. However, its negotiations with Samsung hit the rock.

Now, as the Moto 360 is Official, it's time to order and enjoy that premium Smartwatch... we are glad to say it's now available for purchase, well the leather version is available but the all steel version will be avabile as early as Next month for an extra $50 on the original price.

First of all, the price. The Moto 360 is priced at $249.99 and will go on sale today, September 5, on Motorola's website. The smartwatch will be available in three variants: Light stainless steel case with gray Horween leather band, Light stainless steel case with stone Horween leather band, and Dark stainless steel case with black Horween leather band. As we said earlier, the metal band option will cost $300.

Other than that the Moto 360 has a 1.56-inch, 320x290 resolution (205PPI) semi-circular display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is IP67 certified, which means it can be submerged in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. The watch weighs 49g.

Samsung announced the Samsung Gear VR virtual reality accessory for the Galaxy Note 4 phablet last week. The Pricing details are out, it will cost $199 in the US. This comes straight from a spokesperson for the Korean company, so it's pretty much official.

Sure, a press release would have been nice, but this will have to do for now. The price was revealed at the New York Fashion Week of all places.

With this, the final piece in the Gear VR's pricing puzzle was put in its place. Recently a rumor claimed the Gear VR would cost €199 in the Eurozone. And since mobile devices and accessories usually get the exact same prices in dollars and euros, the $199 amount for the US seems to confirm that same level for Europe.
