Nexus 9

Details regarding the upcoming Nexus 9 tablet from HTC known as Flounder/Volantis have leaked again. The latest one concerns the tablet's smart cover, which will have some neat tricks up its sleeve.

The information is retrieved by AndroidPolice and has a lot of credibility to it. The Magic Cover, as it's rumored to be called, sports a Bluetooth keyboard and will be available in leather and TPU material options.

The case sports magnets which help it fold up into a triangle and support the tablet. The Nexus 9 itself will sit on top of the keyboard when its not in use. Another cool feature is that thanks to the magnets, the screen will automatically wake up.

We expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to offer a 5.7 inch screen, powered by the Snapdragon 805 CPU in certain regions, and an octa-core Exynos processor in other regions. 3GB of RAM is said to be inside and the phablet has been tipped to arrive with the same fingerprint sensor that is employed on the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Samsung S Pen will come with the phone.

Note 4

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is just days away from being officially announced at the IFA trade show in Berlin, and the leaks keep piling up. The latest is in the form of a UAProf found on Samsung's mobile site, which confirms a large number of the devices' specifications.

These latest bits of information can be added to what else we've heard regarding the device, including the 5.7-inch display, S-Pen, and USB 3.0 port alongside the fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor introduced with the Galaxy S5.

The device will also be one of the first to run Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 805 variant, which is hinted at making an appearance on the SM-N910S model of the Note 4.

Galaxy Note 4

A Samsung Galaxy Note 4 short hands-on video appeared on YouTube. The video comes from Vietnam and features the phablet in a dummy box that conceals its design.

To the right of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an S Pen stylus in a black/gold color scheme. The stylus has a button, same as before.

The device itself is the N910H, which should be based on Exynos 5433. Samsung's new chipset beat Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 in leaked AnTuTu benchmarks. There's going to be a Snapdragon 805 version too. Watch it below!

Today, we have a photograph of that very same handset that was featured in the video, wearing the same exact case.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be introduced on September 3rd at the Samsung UNPACKED event in Berlin. The festivities start at 2pm Berlin time. More than ever, Samsung is relying on its top-shelf phablet to help it reverse course financially.

The company has had a couple of tough quarters, and even the Samsung Galaxy S5 couldn't bail out the manufacturer. This could be why Samsung has started teasing the device with a number of internet videos.
