After much speculation, Samsung's first mid-range smartphone with a rear mounted dual camera setup is now official. If you want, you are free to take a look at the official page on Samsung's Thai website which lists all the details about the J7+. In case you are not aware, then know that the Galaxy J7+ is the only smartphone in Samsung's arsenal to sport a dual rear camera, other than the Galaxy Note 8. Check out the specs below.

5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display (2.5D protective glass)

Octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor

4GB RAM

32GB internal storage with expandable memory card slot

13-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture + 5-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture

16-megapixel front cam

3,000 mAh non-removable battery

dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor, Always-On Display, Face Detection, Secure Folder, Dual Messenger, and Bixby Home

Black, Pink, and Silver color options

THB 12,900/$390

As you can see, the specs are not exactly flagship, but quite decent for a mid-range Samsung device. Nevertheless, you will probably find phones such as the OnePlus 5 to be a better bargain at a slightly higher price.

No it's not a typo and yes, the price will indeed come to around a million when the Note 8 is released in South Korea. However, that's one million Korean Won and not dollars (thankfully!). How much does that amount to in dollars? Well, close to around $890, which is actually cheaper than the price of its unlocked version in the US, which is currently set at $930! Although it's not exactly a million dollars, paying nearly a thousand dollars for a smartphone which will become outdated in a few months' time does seem quite expensive. Nevertheless, that doesn't seem to stop Samsung from expecting superb sales numbers all across the globe. Then again, they are probably right and a whole lot of people will be paying that price happily for the Galaxy Note 8.

If you ask me though, I may tell you to buy the cheaper Galaxy S8+ instead. Sure, it has 2GB of RAM less than the Note 8 and it certainly doesn't have a stylus, but most of us will likely never really need the 6GB RAM or the stylus. Don't misunderstand me! The stylus is great for the creative and artistic ones among us, but if you are not, then what exactly are you going to do with it anyway? The dual camera makes a strong point though because it does indeed have some advantages over the S8+'s camera, however, the S8 and the S8+ also sport amazing imaging capabilities. It's up to you, but do take a hard look at your options before making the commitment.

The Mi Mix was truly a revolutionary smartphone in terms of design and the Mi Mix 2 is all set to take that design element even further in roughly ten days' time from now. Although the original Mi Mix was very unique in its design element, we cannot help but notice that according to the rumors and leaks, the Mi Mix 2 is starting to look a lot like the Galaxy S8+. If you are wondering where the resemblance is, consider the fact that it will possibly sport a 2960 x 1440 pixels resolution at 18.5:9 ratio on a 6.2-inch panel, exactly like the S8+.

In other specs, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and not the rumored SD 836. We are saying this because Qualcomm has not yet made any revelations regarding this rumored new chip and chances of them doing so in the span of the next 9 days are pretty slim!

Nevertheless, the Mi Mix 2 will be rocking a very impressive internal storage of 256GB and that much is all but certain. We expect at least 6GB of RAM and a dual rear camera setup as well, but we only know that there will be at least one 20-mp camera among those two. The rumored 4,400mAh battery also looks to be reliable info and that's probably the highest capacity battery ever used in a flagship smartphone from any company yet.

It is very hard to determine which one is the best Android smartphone of them all, but if that contest was purely based on the smoothest and purest Android experience possible, the title would have to go the Google Pixel and Pixel XL. However, that was back in 2016 and we are now almost on the verge of seeing new iterations of the two smartphones from Google in the form of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. So without further ado, let us introduce you to the two smartphones with the specs that we know about so far. Do keep in mind that these are based on rumors and leaks, so minor changes might be present in the final version.

Pixel 2

4.97-inch OLED panel with FHD resolution, Active Edge

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835/836 SoC

4GB of RAM

64GB/128GB internal storage

Twin front facing stereo speakers

No headphone jack

IP67/IP68 rating

Pixel 2 XL

5.99-inch, borderless OLED panel with QHD+ resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio, Active Edge

Qualcomm Snapdragon 835/836 SoC

4GB of RAM

128GB internal storage

Twin front facing stereo speakers

No headphone jack

IP67/IP68 rating

Launch date for both devices is said to be October 5 by Evan Blass on Twitter but we will of course have to wait to find out for sure. The Pixels sported amazing cameras last year, so it would be interesting to see if they can do one better this year.
