We got over the Galaxy S8 fever about two months ago when Samsung finally made everything official and after a period of lull, the Galaxy Note 8 rumors are slowly starting to build up. In fact, we had seen the first renders of the Note 8 much earlier this year than we did in case of the Note 7 last year. To add to this alleged least of leaks, we have another picture today that seems to be showing the Galaxy Note 8 in the attractive Blue Coral color.
Given that the famous Blue Coral color debuted with the infamous Galaxy Note 7 last year, it would in fact be quite natural if the upcoming Note was launched in its blue avatar right off the bat. The only gripe about the render which you see here is the fact that the fingerprint scanner is clearly not on its back and that doesn't make sense. Maybe the render was imagined with an under-the-glass fingerprint scanner before the news about the technology's unavailability was leaked.

There's a lot on the daily firmware list today and in our firmware section. If you are not exactly experienced in flashing firmware updates manually onto your Samsung smartphones or tablets with Odin3, we have this explanatory tutorial for you right here.
While the Galaxy Note 8 will obviously continue to be the talk of the town for months to come, the thing that must have caught your attention in the headline is most likely "Qualcomm Snapdragon 836!" Although we did see Qualcomm release two flagship chips last year; the SD 820 and the SD 821, it didn't seem like something that they would continue to do in the future as well. However, a new report is suggesting that the SD 836 will be a higher powered version of the present day SD 835 and it will be released by the end of the year.
Allegedly, the Snapdragon 836 will have a CPU clock speed of 2.5GHz and the GPU (which will most likely be the same Adreno 540) will boast of a 740MHz clock speed. If the American version of the Note 8 is powered by the SD 836, then does it mean that Samsung will release a newer Exynos chip with the Note 8? Probably not. Samsung just releases one chipset every year in the premium segment and there have been no indications to suggest that they will take a different route this year. As pointed out by the source itself, all of this should be taken with "a pinch of salt."

Samsung's first dual rear camera touting smartphone may not be the Galaxy Note 8 after all as more specs and renders regarding the upcoming Galaxy C10 shows us a dual camera module adorning the smartphone's back. In addition, even the pricing and certain specs of the C10 seems to have been released, courtesy of Asian websites, but brought to the English speaking audience via the courtesy of SamMobile.
The Galaxy C10 will reportedly sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, not unlike the Galaxy C9 Pro or the Galaxy A10. The resolution will be limited to Full HD as expected and there is no reason to believe that any design DNA from the S8 series' bezel-less display will be making their way onto the C10. Other specs include 6GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660/Exynos 7872 SoC, 64GB/128GB internal storage and a 4,000mAh battery. Rumor has it that the C10 will also have the Bixby button. Buying the 64GB version of the smartphone in China will probably set you back by CNY 3,499 or $515.
It would be interesting to see how Samsung's first dual camera setup performs with its telephoto and wide-angle lens combination.
