After a long wait and a lot of teasers, Gameloft has just published Modern Combat 5: Blackout on Google Play store, throwing players straight into the middle of warfare. Like console FPS titles, MC5 features a great campaign mode, as well as the ability to take your skills online with a multiplayer mode.

 

 

In campaign, you play as a hero who must save the world from cyber terrorists, using advanced weapons and technology to overcome countless bad guys with machine guns. In multiplayer, you choose between four customizable classes, picking off players with sniper rifles, assault rifles, SMGs, and more. If you play Call of Duty or Battlefield, you will feel right at home.

 

 

Modern Combat 5: Blackout is priced at $6.99, but features No IAPs!! Users feedback shows that Gameloft have taken their time on this one, the graphics are crisp, the gameplay is much better than previous games, and the campaign story actually makes sense while playing.

Surprise! Google is Now Rolling-out Google Play Store App Update version 4.9.13 with the New Google Material Design UI, that was announced on Android L Preview release. The Update packs many User interface and visual changes to App to be more appealing to the user and with more eye-candy graphics.

 

 

This Play Store update marks the addition of a brand-new Material Design layout for app and other content pages, other Google Apps will follow very soon. Google will update all its Play branded Apps to Materiel Design UI before the official release of Android L.

 

 

Basically, Play Store v4.9.13 marks what we can only assume is an as-yet uncompleted shift to a Material layout, starting with app and other content pages. The basic navigation and most other parts of the Play Store seem untouched, though the changes to content pages are pretty huge.

 

 

A few things we've noticed are app descriptions now go full-screen, and change-logs live in this area as well. App change-logs on the device Play Store are now only visible for apps you have installed, where they will appear in place of the app description. For apps you don't have installed, you'll have to open the full description to see the change-log.

Many Android users Installed "Free" Apps & Games from the Play store, then they found that it requires In-App purchase for additional functions and levels which supposed to be in included in the App or Game that the user installed. Google is forced to take action.

 

The European Commission, the EU's legislative arm, has issued instructions to both Google and Apple to more accurately market the erstwhile "Free" games. They've also instructed both companies not to encourage children to buy virtual items with real money after considerable complaints from consumers. Google has just pushed an Update to the Google Play store App, bringing it to version 4.8.22 with no noticable changes, only minor bug fixes, from the previous version 4.8.20 that packed a lot of new features we'll remind you about below.

Finally, Now you can now Add your PayPal account as a payment option, just enter your PayPal email and purchase the apps you want. You should see the PayPal button at the bottom of the payment methods screen when buying content in the new Play Store App.

Google Play Store 4.8.20 has many UI changes, the most noticeable one is the Big buttons, all the (Update, Install, Review... etc) buttons are now larger and easier to use.

 

 

Also Google simplified the permission view list to be easier for users to see what this App will do to you phone, besides some changes in the App rating and listing, all to the better.
