The Coral Blue was an instant hit with the Galaxy Note 7 last year until things went haywire for Samsung and the beloved but feared handset globally. Nevertheless, Samsung re-introduced the same color option with the S7 and S7 Edge later on and just as expected, people loved it in the US especially. Taking a cue from the color's success, it looks like Samsung is all set to introduce it again to the US with the Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Check out the leaked render above to get a taste of what to expect. No information regarding which carriers will be getting the Coral Blue variant was available unfortunately. If it turns out to be true, then the Coral Blue will be joining Arctic Silver, Orchid Gray and the Midnight Black color options in the US, expanding the total number of available colors to four. Samsung has not yet made any comments on the availability of such a device though, but then again, when do they ever! Seeing the S8/S8+ in Coral Blue doesn't seem to be a far farfetched rumor at all; instead it is most likely a logical and predictable step by the Korean OEM.

The Galaxy C10 is coming soon as the device has now officially entered the final software testing phase. We are not saying that firmware version C9150ZCU0AQF2 is the final version, but it isn't impossible either. When the smartphone comes out, it will be the first Samsung device to carry the C10 moniker. The specs seem pretty good on paper (figuratively speaking!) too, thanks to the Qualcomm SD 660 chipset and 6GB of RAM. Rumor has it that the famous (or infamous) Bixby hardware button will be making its way onto the C10 as well.

The OnePlus 5 rumors will soon come to an end as the release date is probably about two weeks away from now (June 20), but that time is not yet here! Today's leaks are probably as realistic as it can get though with press renders. If it is showing the right phone then the OnePlus 5 will not have a curved bezel-less display, unlike previous rumors had suggested. Nevertheless, it does look gorgeous though.

After a lot of speculations, leaks and rumors, the Galaxy J5 & J7 2017 are finally out as Samsung made it official yesterday. We have had enough of the rumors, but now it\'s time to take a look at the actual internals.

Display

J5 has a 5.2-inch 720p display, while the J7 has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen as expected. The good news is that both of them are AMOLED panels.

SoC and RAM

Both devices share the same Exyno 7870 14nm chips with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. The J5 2017 only has 2GB of RAM though, but the J7 2017 has a more respectable 3 gigs of RAM.

Camera

The 13-mp rear camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture is common to both devices but the J7 also has a 13-mp front camera with flash, unlike the J5, which is stuck with a plain 5-mp shooter without any flash aid.

Battery and Price

A healthy 3,600mAh battery will be powering the J7, while the J5 will have to settle with a smaller 3,000mAh cell instead. The price difference between the two devices is basically of £60, so you would probably be much better off opting for the Galaxy J7 2017 for £340 ($440 approximately) than the Galaxy J5 2017 for £280 ($360 approximately).

Other than these, the J7 will come with USB Type-C while the J5 will be sporting the aged but more accessible micro-USB. Fingerprint scanner will be present in the usual place on both devices; i.e. just under the Home button.

Samsung only managed to secure a meagre 13% of the global smartphone market's total operating profit, while Apple managed to scoop up 83.4% in Q1 2017! In spite of Samsung outselling Apple globally by millions of handsets in the quarter, they only managed to show an operating profit of $1.57 billion, while Apple posted a figure of $10.1 billion for the same. Samsung experienced a 21.9% decline while Apple saw a 79.8% increase in their respective operating profits.

If you are wondering how it's possible, well, the answer is quite simple really; higher profit margins. Apple enjoys insane profit margins in the range of 30.7%; something that can only be pulled off by Apple because of its brand name. No other company, including Samsung can afford to sell their smartphones with a profit margin that high because no one would buy them. Apple on the other hand knows that people will continue to buy them, irrespective of the price. Samsung is having trouble holding onto even a 9.7% average profit margin due to steep competition from Chinese manufacturers in the low-mid end segment.

Qualcomm has Adreno and ARM has Mali, but Exynos is still lacking a GPU of its own. Granted that the Mali G-71 is the most powerful mobile GPU on the market and it's coupled exclusively with the Exynos 8895 CPU, it still isn't made by Samsung and according to a report, Samsung isn't going to settle for that, at least not in the near future.

The report from Weibo, brought forward by famous Chinese leakster Ice Universe states that Samsung is done with relying on other companies to fulfil its GPU needs and is currently working on a solution of its won. As of now, it's only being referred to as the S-GPU; a name that will probably not make it to the final cut! Even if the rumor is true and Samsung does end up successfully making its own smartphone/tablet GPU, it is highly unlikely that it will be making its debut anytime soon or before the Galaxy S9 is released next year. In all likelihood, the S-GPU will be released with the Exynos 9 series of chips. We will keep you updated as more news and info pops up.
