BlackBerry's story in the mobile domain has been a long and strenuous one, but unlike many other industry mammoths, the Canadian tech giant has managed to sustain growth by coping with the changes in modern age. As per the Q3 financial results there is a 13 percent rise in stocks and overall losses have also declined.

They released the BlackBerry Priv as their latest Android smartphone, and it looks like it has far more demand by the consumers than it was expected. A month later after it was released to the public, the sales record gathered by them shows that it is approaching a positive side. Owing to its high demand and popularity among smartphone buyers big outlets, Walmart, CNN Money, and Best Buy had to refill their shelves.

Amazon has a mouth-watering offer on cloud storage - as a part of the Black Friday deals, they are offering unlimited storage. For just $5, one can get one year of unlimited cloud storage, that includes photos, videos, and documents. This price can drop to $1 if the storage will be used only for media.

This comes at a time when Microsoft OneDrive storage was downgraded from unlimited to 1 TB. Meanwhile, the free tier gives only 5GB of storage before users are asked to upgrade. In case of Google Drive to store more than 15 GB, users are asked to make payment.

The reason given by Microsoft for removing its unlimited storage was that some users were uploading their entire movie collections, among other things, and there-by resulting in 14,000 times more than the amount of space used by an average user.

Now let's get back back to Amazon's attractive $5 deal, whose regular price for unlimited storage tier is $54.99. A sweet $50 savings, thanks to this Black Friday deal. In the $1 deal, users are also allowed to upload 15 GB documents apart from the media files.

This hot deal will surely get expired soon. So get your hands on it before deal goes out of stock.

Xiaomi has come up with the new Redmi Note 3 in China. The new device gets bigger and better in comparison to its predecessor, with a new full metal body, fingerprint sensor, a huge 4000mAh battery, and more.

The new Redmi Note 3 sports a full aluminum unibody design with 120-point ultra-fine double sided sandblasting and curved edges. At the thickest area the device will be of 8.65mm and the weight will be 164g, 4g more than its predecessor in spite of the larger battery.

On the rear a new fingerprint sensor is available, which Xiaomi claims unlocks the phone in just 0.3 seconds. Soon we'll see whether the sensor will only be used for unlocking the device or within apps as well. It opens up new possibilities like biometric authentication for payments via the Mi Wallet Service.

Other specifications include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage or 3GB RAM and 32GB storage depending upon the variant, 13 megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus, 4G dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and MIUI 7.

The smartphone will cost RMB 899 ($140) for the 16GB model and RMB 1099 ($172) for the 32GB variant. It will be available in three colors: silver, gold, and gray.

Wireless charging is a ground breaking technology that lets you charge your devices without mingling with cables or faulty USB ports. Simply put your phone on a wireless charging surface and all will be taken care of. That comes with a negative element - while charging you can not use your phone.

Si-Ware Systems and Ossia have come up with a new system called Cota which can be used to charge compatible phones within a 30 foot radius. While devices can consume a maximum of 6 watts for charging, this system is capable of transferring 10 watts power. This is nowhere near the Quick Charge 2.0, but it does a pretty decent job considering all the factors. Thanks to the radio frequency technology - the device charging won't be affected negatively in case of minor obstructions.

This technology doesn't only apply to smartphone and wearable devices. Things like wireless keyboards can also be charged via this system without plugging in anything. The device will be charged till the time you are near the charger.

Although the effect of constantly charging the devices for 12 hours in day is yet to be found out, we all can agree that this is indeed a great step forward.
