Vivo launches a new smartphone from Y-series. It is called the Vivo Y19. The phone is up for sale in Vietnam and Thailand and hopefully, it will make to the Indian market very soon. Just like other Vivo Y-series smartphones, this is a too mid-range device. The price of the phone is Vietnam is roughly around Rs 15,000. The smartphone comes in two color options - Black and Morning Dew white. The Vivo Y19 looks premium for the price. \
As far as the specs are concerned the Vivo Y19 comes with a big FHD+ display of 6.53-inches that offers 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Vivo Y19 is powered by Media Tek Helio P65 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device comes only in one variant. The device has a 16MP primary camera on the rear side, 8MP ultra wide-angle secondary camera, and a third is a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.

The phone has a fingerprint sensor for user authentication purposes. For selfies, the Vivo Y19 packs 16MP shooter. Similar to other Vivo phones this one too comes lots of AI features. The Vivo phone has a big battery. The Y19 comes with a 5000mAh battery with 17 hours of battery backup in a single change. The phone supports USB type C support. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.

There were already some leaks about the next S-series phone from Vivo which was expected to be called Vivo S5. Today, the Chinese company has officially teased the arrival of Vivo S5 by releasing a teaser video and a poster. Based on the recent leaks and teaser it is safe to say that it could be the first phone to feature a diamond-shaped quad-camera system. The teasers reveal that like the Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro smartphones, the upcoming Vivo S5 will be arriving in vibrant colors. This could mean that the phone manufacturer is targeting the younger consumer in China for Vivo S5.


Not so long, Vivo S-lineup brand ambassador Cai Xukun was spotted holding the upcoming S-series smartphone in a promo video for a fashion magazine. The rear side of the phone has pinkish appearance towards the left and right while the center portion looks bluish. The video revealed that the Vivo S5 has a 3.5mm audio jack on its top edge and it has a diamond-shaped quad-camera setup on its back. It appears that the phone is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader.


At present, there is no information on the specifications of the Vivo S5 smartphone. It could be packed with mid-range phones. Probably, the company will be unleashing the Vivo S5 in November. Hopefully, its entire specifications will be revealed through its TENAA certification in the coming days. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Exynos 980 chipset. The said SoC is equipped with a 5G modem that will bring about NSA and SA networks. The launch event for the phone could be held on Nov. 7 in China.

The Vivo V17 Pro is a mid-range smartphone that comes with many premium features, full-display notch-less design. For the selfie camera, it uses a pop-up housing. The rear camera setup uses a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide unit, a 13-megapixel telephoto unit offering 2x optical zoom, and a 2-megapixel telephoto unit with 2x optical zoom, a 20megapixel depth assistance unit with an f/2.4 lens. The Vivo V17 Pro can shoot videos on both 4K and Full HD at 30fp. The front camera is 32-megapixel with a f/2.0 lens, and an ultra-wide angle unit with 8-megapixel sensor.

 

The device has a gradient color on the cover and available in the crystal black, crystal sky, and midnight ocean finish. The Vivo V17 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 8GB RAM and has 128GB storage. The display has a wider aspect ratio, with Full HD+ resolution. For connectivity, the device uses a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and tethering, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5. There is also an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The phone has a solid 4,100mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Vivo recently introduced the U-series of smartphones in India by launching the first Vivo U10. There has been a lots of hype around U3x before its arrival. Well, the Vivo U3x has now gone official in Vivo's home land and it appears to be a rebranded version of the Vivo U10 featuring the similar design and hardware specification. The main selling points of Vivo U3x are the device mega battery - 5000mAh, triple rear cameras, and support for Vivo's proprietary 18W dual engine fast charging technology.


The Vivo U3x comes in two variants for the base 3GB memory + 32GB, storage and the 4GB memory + 64GB storage model. The upper-end of the smartphone is now up for pre-order in china and available in deep lake blue, red tea red, and midnight black color options, with the first two has a gradient finish. Vivo has announced offers free accessories for early buyers. As of now, Vivo hasn't declared any date for the Vivo U3x in market.


The dual-SIM vivo U3x runs funtouch OS 9.1 based on Android OS. It has a 6.35-inch display with HD+ resolution at 1544 x 720 pixels. Vivo U3x runs over the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with up to 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. ivo U3x is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W Dual Engine fast charging, and also supports reverse charging for juicing up accessories such as Bluetooth earphones and fitness bands. However, the OTG cable needed for reverse charging must be purchased separately. Storage on the Vivo phone is expandable via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The Vivo U3x features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock for authentication.

The pop-up camera has evolved and there is a dual-lens pop-up camera now to elevate the quality of the pictures taken by a smartphone. Vivo is one of the brands putting a great emphasis on the pictures taken by selfie cameras. The main sell-out pint for the new Vivo V17 Pro is a motorized dual-lens selfie camera and it looks great too. The phone falls into a midrange category which means it won't be costing you a lot to have this astonishing looking phone.


The phone as an unusual 20:9 aspect ratio with the 6.44-inch display on the front. This device is much smaller than the OnePlus 7T. The back of the phone is made from glass and may need a protector over the top. There is a quad-camera setup placed vertically at the top of the body. It uses a USB type-c charging connection. The phone is about 7 ounces and a bit heavier for 2019 devices.


The phone comes in a beautiful color crystal sky, which is similar to Huawei P30 Pro's breathing crystal color. It has a high-gloss finish which may attract more female users. Other colors include crystal black and midnight ocean. The pop-up camera allows Vivo to get rid of the notch, leaving the AMOLED screen with only thin borders around it. The selfie camera has a single 32-megapixel wide-angle lens, plus an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It takes good pictures, although the beauty mode is quite aggressive.


There are four lenses at the rear side- - a 48-megapixel primary lens, a second 8-megapixel ultrawide, a 13-megapixel telephoto, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. Along with wide-angle and bokeh mode, there is a macro mode, a slow-motion video mode, and a night mode to try. The edit features are also good, with changes to focus on the bokeh mode, different filers, and plenty more.
