Huawei P50 is the upcoming smartphone series for the next year. As per rumors, the company is planning to release the series around the time of the Mobile World Congress. But due to the current political situation, the series may not release at the time. Although the device isn't officially announced, we are already getting the leaks through social media users. Last year's Huawei P50 series included three models.
Leaks suggest that the Chinese telecom giant is going to release the following models in the first half of the year. Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro, Huawei P50 Pro+. The vanilla Huawei P50 will be the first smartphone to be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000E SoC. Unlike the P50 vanilla model, the latter two phones will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset. Another leak suggests that the company will be soon starting mass production as their design has been finalized.
It is also rumored that the phone will be released with a new improved design and significantly developed photography system. According to the tipster, the Huawei P50 series will be equipped with a new generation of imaging systems, and it will continue to feature Leica-engineered cameras. The tipster didn't share any other information on the camera specs.
Last month, a user called Teme posted on social media that the P50 will feature a 6.6-inch quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. He further posted that P50 and P50 Pro will arrive with a slimmer glass, new gesture support, EMU 11 based Android 11 operating system, and Quad/Penta camera sensors by Leica that can offer high 200x digital zoom. The three models of the series will feature 4,200mAh, 4,300mAh batteries with 66W and 50W fast charging support.
Samsung is particularly known for packing its devices with the highest specifications possible, and the company has pioneered numerous innovations in recent years. The most notable of these is the curved screen technology that is now almost indelibly associated with Samsung, and it is expected that this will become even more significant when the Galaxy S7 is released.
Samsung is now rumoured to be in talks with Sony to include the IMX300 Xperia Z5 camera sensor within the Galaxy S7, which are DSLR quality sensors, similar to what the Nexus 5X and 6P both have, and that it would be a 12-megapixel shooter. It will also have support for RAW images, and feature a new video recorder mode. Likely to compete with the RAW features of video recording that LG added on the V10.
Aside from this, Samsung is also likely to upgrade the display technology included in the Galaxy S7. With Sony having released the world's first 4K smartphone in the shape of the Z5 Premium, Samsung is expected by many analysts to follow suit. It is also suggested according to recent rumors that the Galaxy S7 will follow the example of Apple and include a technology similar to Force Touch. This could utilize a system known as ClearForce, which is able to differentiate between a tap and a press to trigger different actions.
The expert believes that the next-gen handset will cost 10 percent lower than the Galaxy S6. This should easily give surety to bigger sales as the tech firm is basically offering up a more formidable device with a price much more manageable than what the competition puts up.

Sony has shared information on its developer blog on how to get started creating HTML5 and Android TV apps for its upcoming TVs and home entertainment systems. In the process, the company also spilled loose details on its upcoming lineup of Android TV products.
Sony TVs running Android TV will start arriving in 2015 with the company waving goodbye to the Google TV platform. Google Cast is also going to be supported on select Bravia models. The company's Blu-Ray and Home Theater system products will support HTML5 apps, too.
Nevertheless, Sony encourages developers to continue supporting previous Google TV-enabled products. We know that this is unlikely to happen as everyone is eyeing the upcoming release of Android TV.
