The HTC UI is one of the most understated user interfaces in the industry and the company experienced serious flop when it announced more than one flagship phones last year.

Furthermore, when HTC updated the older HTC devices to ICS and HTC Sense 4, there was an issue about having the version where the older ones were based and that they only got Sense 4 by having it pre-installed on their older devices.


But hold your horses, HTC devotees: the full response is below.

HTC will be offering upgrades to some of its existing devices in the next few months, including global variants of HTC One X, One X+, One S and the HTC Butterfly. Also, note that some features enabled by the new HTC One hardware will not be available in the software updates.

This year, following the announcement that the HTC will only be having one flagship phone, some of their devices will already come with Sense 5. These devices are the One X and the One X+, One S and the Butterfly. Some mystery features of the Sense 5, however, will only be available to the HTC One, so lucky for those people. However, other Sense 5 users will still enjoy the new modifications.

HTC is finally sticking to just one flagship carrier as opposed to announcing and releasing a barrage of One-devices, which can only confuse buyers. The Taiwanese firm lost steam against bigger players such as Samsung and Apple and its recent plan to concentrate on the HTC One for the entire year is a move welcomed by many. HTC will definitely make some much-needed changes if it plans to recapture the market with its sleek-looking and well-designed smartphones.

While some fans of other high-end HTC devices were a bit disappointed, this move will enable the company to put emphasis on a core smart phone that can be offered on different carriers. Unless, of course, it breaks its promise, much like what happened with the HTC One X last year.

Some hopefuls are still waiting for HTC to release a phone that uses the Snapdragon 800 processor or maybe a 5-incher. As for now, no one knows if HTC officials will really stick to their plan this time. This might just be a way to keep our eyes off a hidden project, don't you think?

In two days, HTC will launch its number one smartphone, the HTC One and a black one is ready for offer, aside from the silver variant that is previously shown on released official HTC One photos.

One of the major changes in appearance includes the two-button controls on the bottom of the phone, which are not present on its predecessor. Also, since HTC will launch on different continents simultaneously, it seems to imply that the black HTC will be launched in the US and the silver one in London, at least judging by the press shot.

Furthermore, all major US carriers will offer HTC One on their smartphone line-up and Verizon is said to launch the latest HTC One version last. Prices will vary depending on the memory but must not extraordinarily go beyond $300. This is a 4.7-incher and runs on 1.7GHz quad core Snapdragon.

Looks like a photo of the HTC One was leaked, featuring its new front panel. Evleaks, which has a history of accurate disclosures, has revealed the photo and it might just be the real thing.

HTC made over its popular smartphone and replaced the three-button combo with just a back and a home button. Moreover, it now has two speakers on both ends, which should make multimedia experience a lot satisfactory.

On the other hand, the new HTC One will feature a 4.7" 1080p standard display with 468 pixels per inch. Considering the leaked photo and some previous reports, the HTC One will run on Krait quad core Qualcomm APQ8064 chipset and 2 GB RAM. It might also feature HTC Sense 5.0 for its user interface, instead of Android 4.2 as earlier hinted.

In addition, Flicker was abuzz with a photo that was allegedly taken by the HTC One with its 13MP cam, which is also said to feature "ultrapixels". There will be concurrent events to possibly launch the HTC One on the 19th in New York and London.

Above screenshot is HTC CEO Peter Chou using the white M7 to take a few shots of the crowd. Rumored by PocketNow, that it's the HTC M7 we're looking at, it also said that white option is pretty much confirmed.

According to various leaks, HTC M7 is the next flagship is set to feature a quad-core Qualcomm processor (predictably), a 4.7-inch 1920 x 1080 (full HD) display, 32GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
