Samsung's Galaxy S9 and S9+ handsets are almost on the verge of being released now, but surprisingly enough, we have not yet seen too many live images of the two devices yet; something that has not happened in the recent past. While not having enough leaks is not Samsung's problem, they have indeed just released brand new teaser videos in South Korea. If you have not checked the three teasers out yet, feel free to do so now.
All the teasers are 15-seconds long and as we expected, doesn't really show us much at all. However, there is a little hint regarding the animated 3D emojis (aka Apple's Animojis) about which ETNews reported just yesterday. Also, the low light capabilities of the f/1.5 aperture on one of the S9+'s camera seems to be the focus in one of the ads. It's all marketing though as we don't really see the real device. What do you see in the teasers? Did we miss anything obvious? Let us know in the comments if you see anything new.

The Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy S7 Edge are the only models on our list of daily updates today, but it's a pretty comprehensive firmware list as far as the two models are concerned. However, before you download and try to flash any of the firmware, take a look at this tutorial just to be safe.
The poop Anomoji showcased by the Cupertino giant during the unveiling of the iPhone X and later put into ads was a topic of much criticism, but what couldn't be denied was the fact that the new iPhones were indeed packing some seriously advanced level motion capture technology. However, according to a new report by ETNews from South Korea, Samsung will do one better with the Galaxy S9 and S9+. Unfortunately, we will have to wait to find out what exactly is it that will make Samsung's animated emojis better than those on the iPhone X, because the source has not made that clear!
Even if you don't care much for the animated emojis, you will almost surely care abut the fact that the S9 and S9+ will feature stereo speakers for the first time ever! With one speaker on the top and one at the bottom, it would be interesting to see if those match up to the ones on the new Pixels.

We knew that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 was going to be the most powerful Android chip, just like it was last year, but if the latest Geekbench score is anything to go by, it has met its match and then some! Apparently, the Galaxy S9 international variant aka, the Exynos 9810-powered version of Samsung's upcoming flagship handset scored 3648 on the single-core test and 8894 on the multi-core test, both of which are significantly higher than the previously leaked scores of 2400 (median) and 8400 (median) of the SD 845. The Exynos's score looks particularly impressive if you look at the single-core score, which is more than1200 points ahead of the SD 845's single-core score and that's mighty impressive. It looks like rumors regarding the SD 845 being a mid-level chip in comparison with the Exynos might just have some truth to them after all!
The Exynos variant was identified as the model number clearly states SM-G960F; which would most obviously be the S9's international variant with the Exynos chip. Take a look at the leaked screenshot for more details.
