The powerful selfie-optimizer Facetune finally arrived on the Google Play Store on Android, tagging along its full feature suite. Granted, as far as photo editing apps go, this one's priced at the top of the pile, but when you play around with it for a while, your three bucks can be chalked off as well-spent.
Ever wanted a quick retouching of your selfie before you post it in the easiest possible way? Well, Facetune can get you to Hollywood-smile standards with two or three taps and finger-gymnastics on your touchscreen. You can widen smiles, whiten teeth, sculpt cheekbones, shrink noses, get rid of blemishes, and so on.
You can also use the so-called "Vivid Makeup" by applying all sorts of blush, eyeliner, lipstick, or simply intensify your natural lip color. Add to this the ability to create a piercing gaze, and wrap it all up in unique textures or frames, and Facetube might soon hide the real you from the world with great success.
Google updated the Chrome Beta browser App, the update brings the new Materiel design UI to Chrome browser, showing us what Google chrome will look like on Android L. However, there are still parts of it that haven't been updated to the new design language.
As those of you familiar with Google's new Material design would expect, the new Chrome Beta has a decidedly flatter look, and interacting with, say, the address bar, provides better feedback through animations. The Tabs window has also been changed for one, you can no longer see how many tabs you have open, and the look has been changed to, again, a flatter one. Lastly, it should be mentioned again that not all parts of the app have been skinned just yet the Settings menu, for example, is still stuck in the Holo design era, and so is the default homepage with your most visited bookmarks.
This is not the final version of the Chrome with Materiel UI, further updates is coming. Meanwhile, you can try the New Chrome Beta on your Android device.
Your Android Smartphone or Tablet is getting Slow ? You need a FREE App that optimize your device performance ? We have the soltuion, "360 Clean Droid". What's special about this App ? Well, Firstly, its FREE with no In-App Crap... Secondly, Its User Interface is a "one-click-functionality", the app is all about big letters, rounded buttons, and plenty of color is what this one is about. An optimization app can't really be simpler and friendlier to use.
Let's talk about the function now. First, the app boasts "millisecond boosting technology", which is 'fancy speak' for its ability to execute all its optimization programs with a single tap. Second, 360 Clean Droid features "advanced trash cleanup". We're not completely sure what makes it so advanced compared to other algorithms, but nevertheless, it's going to free plenty of space on your phone that you probably didn't know you had.
Finally, the app has a "privacy protection" module, which lets you erase web history, traces of other apps, text message history and phone call logs, and other stuff you don't want to display in public.
To top it all off, 360 Clean Droid has an "Autostarts Manager", which lets you disable specific apps from starting upon your device's boot. There's also a "Bloatware Uninstaller", which counts the number of pre-installed apps your smartphone or tab comes from and puts it against the number of apps you voluntarily installed. Needless to say, you can proceed to uninstall most of them, although this functionality expects your device to be rooted.
Google Maps for Android updated to Version 8.2 with some new features. These new features includes a Biking elevation support (beside public transport, driving and walking), and also a conversational voice actions while in navigation.
The biking elevation feature is really neat, but listed as beta. Basically, you get a timeline of your route so you can choose one with the least climbing. It even compares multiple routes in the search interface. The other biggie is voice actions in navigation mode. There's a button that initiates the voice mode so you can issue commands and ask questions. It understands things like "how long until I arrive?" and "What's my next turn?" It also accepts commands like muting voice guidance and showing traffic.
What's New on Maps 8.2 :
• Voice actions in navigation mode (how long until destination, show traffic, etc.)
• Bicycle directions show elevation, including elevation comparison for multiple routes (less climbing!)
• Your Places now appears in slide-out nav menu
• Voice icon replaces the "person" in search bar that used to load Places
• Uber card now shown in the car tab of navigation instead of just public transportation and walking
• ETA no longer in bold type
If you didn't get the update yet, don't wait, Download the APK from the link below. The APK below is officially signed by Google and upgrades your existing app.
