We have exclusively reported a few hours ago that we received official confirmation that Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 & 8.0 variants Lollipop updates will start rolling-out by Early July.... and here we are having an early start in the Last day of June.

Today (June,30th), Samsung has just started Rolling-out the official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 LTE (SM-T335) variant. The Update is Available Over-the-air and via KIES in Switzerland. Other regions and Wi-Fi variants will get the same update during July.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has a build version [T335XXU1BOF8] and a build date of [June 20, 2015] which indicates its a very fresh build, the OTA package size is about 900 - 950 MB depending on your carrier. The update packs new TouchWiz UI with Material Design UI, new lockscreen, improved widgets and homepage, new notification panel, improved settings page, performance and stability enhancements, security improvements and various bug fixes.

Samsung has already started rolling-out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge with lots of new features. The update is Rolling-out Over-the-air and via KIES in all regions.

Samsung released a Value Edition of the Galaxy Grand Prime device with Lollipop 5.1 pre-installed. Today, the official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Firmware of the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Value Edition (SM-G531) is now Available in KIES.

The Firmware packs Samsung's latest Lollipop 5.1.1 build, new TouchWiz UI with Material Design, New notifications panel, New lockscreen, security enhancements, stability improvements, performance improvements and various bug fixes.

The Original Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530) is expected to get the same update any time now. However, the updates are still delayed and hasn't started rolling-out yet, no ETA Available.

Few weeks ago, we already reported before that Galaxy A3 (SM-A300F) Lollipop update has rolled-out. Today, Samsung is Rolling-out the same official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update to the Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300FU). The update is Available Over-the-air and via KIES starting in France (XEF).

The Galaxy A3 Lollipop 5.0.2 update packs many improvements to the mid-range handset, including major performance improvements along with New TouchWiz UI with Material Design, New lockscreen, New Notifications menu and some Lollipop love.

Samsung is already rolling-out the Latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S6 , Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S5. Now, it's the ALPHA's turn. We got reports indicates that the Korean giant is preparing to release the same update for various mid-range devices and high-end devices too, as we reported before.

Further more, Samsung France has confirmed through its official twitter that the Samsung Galaxy ALPHA (SM-G850) official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update is "Ready for Deployment", which means that the update status is "Pending" and will start rolling-out in the upcoming weeks.

SamsungFR said that the Galaxy ALPHA 5.1 update imminent and it will depend on the user's carrier, as the all the OTA updates are rolled-out in waves region-by-region.

Samsung Galaxy ALPHA Lollipop 5.1.1 Update will pack RAW support for Camera API, better connectivity (4G and WI-Fi), performance enhancements and various bug fixes to increase the overall stability of TouchWiz UI.
